Provided excellent service. I had water backing up in my basement. I purchased the Angie's List "Big Deal" and Frank called me immediately, even though it was a Sunday. He gave me the number to call for Baltimore County and they came out that afternoon and cleared the line from the access point to the street. Frank's son came the next afternoon, as scheduled, and completed the job from the access point into the house. I would definitely use this provider again and will certainly recommend him to my friends and family.

Frank did a real nice job. The first problem was that the old line went between a Holly Tree and a hedge. I was afraid that I would have to cut the tree down but Frank said he would try to dig around the tree. Frank was very gentle and was able to get the backhoe between the two obstacles with very little damage to the tree. At least I didn't have to cut down the tree. I will definitely call on him again if I need any of his services, and I have recommended him to some of my friends.

.When I new we had a problem I checked Angie's list. The owner, Frank, responded to my call. He was honest and seemed very knowledgeable about the situation. After checking him out on Angie's list and the BBB, I went with his company. His task had steps to it because the County had to send inspectors out to ok his progress. While here, the inspector told my son that Frank was the best person to tackle our problem. She rated him the best in Baltimore County. The job took 3 days roughly and every was done just as Frank said it would. I was very pleased with the end result. I would highly recommend him for any of the jobs he is involved in.

We purchased a deal through Angies List to have our main sewer line cleaned out as we were having back up problems in our basement. They were responsive to phone calls to schedule the appointment and showed up right on time. It took about two hours to snake the line because we could not find an outdoor cleanout. They did a very good job, and we haven't had any problems since. I would highly recommend them.

The technician was prompt, professional, honest and knowledgable.Although the job was to big for this company they steered me in the right direction.

Intended to find septic tank on property. Did a basic search. Didn't find anything. Never opened an obvious manhole built at the most likely spot.

Called in Frank after I had some suspect recomendations from Len The Plumber, and therefore needed a second opinion. Problem was a backed sewer. Frank reacted very quickly to my call. Inspection revealed that the cast iron pipe under the house had cracked and large tree root was causing the blockage. Frank also convinced me that the story my wife was given by Len The Plumber was a load of rubbish. Frank is helped by his son, or to be more honest, it is the other way around. Both are respectful, take care of your home, and keep things clean. They cleared as much of the blockage as they could. Enough to last us a day or two at least, and then they returned to dig through the basement concrete floor, cut out a section of the old broken pipe, replace it, fill the hole and re-concrete.

They were wonderful and the quality of their work was excellent. On the appointed day, Frank and his crew came 15 minutes earlier, but they didn't come in and disturb me until it was the time that they had appointed. I had a tree removed and they pulled the root of the tree out. The work was done quickly and the cleanup was immaculate. I bought an additional service, which was an extra cost and it was absolutely worth it. They laid down grass seed and put some straw over it. It is not even two weeks and I am starting to see grass up. The ground is just about level with where the other ground was. He explained everything that he was doing. I had a big beautiful tree and I was afraid they would have to do something to that tree, but he rerouted the water that comes in the house and put that down and did it all in one job. I was very pleased and I would recommend him to anyone.

The price quoted for the work, was very near a price I had "guesstimated" beforehand, so I felt the quoted price was fairly reasonable. I should note, however, that the price quoted was for a storm drain, and would imagine that a sewer drain would cost a bit more for the obvious reasons. After agreeing to price and terms, arrangements were made for the repair. The work crew arrived promptly and on time. The work area was in the backyard and there is not a lot of access to the back, especially for the large backhoe that they brought with them, however Frank Taciak made easy work of maneuvering the backhoe past azaleas and other shrubs clearing all without damage. Work initially was exploratory to determine the routing of the pipe; the routing was not where expected. There were actually two runs that tied together at a wye. Unfortunately two shrubs and a small tree were directly over the pipe that was to be replaced (and believed to be causing all the problems). Frank removed these without extra charge. Once the existing piping was surveyed the new piping and fittings were ordered. The initial plan was to install 4-inch pipe in all locations, but I asked if instead that the pipe change size to six inches after the wye. This was agreed without complaint. The crew continued to work on the removal of the existing piping while the new pipe and fittings were delivered. Work included the removal of a small section of a patio with one new pipe section having to be tunneled beneath a section of patio that could not be removed. I was quite impressed by the crew who spent 12 or more hours at the site, working until after dark. They stopped only once during that time for a very brief lunch. The crew finished their work by refilling the excavated area, seeding the excavation and overlaying the seed with straw. While I am sure that I will have to grade and re-seed, I was not even expecting this preliminary seeding. I was quite impressed by this crew. It was obvious that they had worked together for a while. They truly worked as a team. Rather than stand around watching, I lent a hand when the shrubs had to be removed and they allowed me to work with them without complaint (I generally find that most contractors want you out of the way while working, but this crew seemed to appreciate what little I actually contributed). In the end this worked well as I was able to start the work of reducing the trees and shrubs for disposal while the crew carried on the new pipe installation. It has been nearly five months since the new pipe was installed and we have had several heavy rains. There is no evidence of any drain backup and it appears to be a job well done. In fact, if you stand in the backyard on a quiet night or day there is the sound of "babbling brook" emanating from the exposed pipe end. I do not ever recall hearing this before and surely indicates a significantly higher outflow than ever there was. Please note again that there was a lot of work involved which surely was not included in the quoted price. There was, however, no additional charges and the original quote was honored. I am very pleased with the work performed and would highly recommend C A Taciak & Sons to others. I would definitely use this contractor again should the need arise.

We called Taciak & sons. They were the 1st repairman on the spot. I would recommend them to anyone who needs quality,honest service!

Frank Taciak, the owner, provided the initial estimate and was onsite to oversee the entire operation from start to finish. He is also the backhoe operator - very professional - he owns his own equipment. The crew arrived at 08:30 as promised. They completed the job at around 16:00 after having to work through a few obstacles - to be expected with a job requiring excavation. They used 3/4" copper pipe to replace a 70-year old galvanized iron pipe that had corroded through. In order not to disturb the shrubbery by the house, they pushed a section of pipe out from the basement, using the same hole as the original galvanized pipe. They were highly professional all the way through the job. Clean up was excellent. We've had no problems with the water feed since. I'll likely use them again - the main sewer drain pipe (different location that the water feed) will need to be replaced as well.

The job was performed well and to our satisfaction. I was very impressed when Frank made time on the Fourth of July to come with the contract. He patiently answered all of our questions. The work was completed very quietly and I was pleased with the look of the yard when they were finished.

We had a bit of an emergency with a sewer main backup. We have only been in this house for 2 years and it's 70 years old. We feared the worst. We found Frank and his son on Angie's List and could not have been more pleased. Prompt. Professional. Courteous. Reasonable. Knowledgeable. They explained everything to us and charged only what they said they would. They even advised us to call the county to do what they do for free. They called us back promptly, showed up when they said they would, and called to follow up. So nice to find a great local business to support. We cannot recommend them highly enough and would definitely consider them our first choice in plumbers.

Turns out a section of the pipe needed replacement and the pipe running our needed to be cleaned. Service was prompt, efficient, and very professional.

Every thing went great. no problems. Dug the hole. used the steel box to make it safe for the workers. replaced the line. clean out what was left. Then replaced the dirt back in whole. Then cleaned the whole area.

Frank Taciak took time from his family vacation to call me on be half of Saffer Plumbing about irreplaceable my root filled sewer line. He was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone with general information I provided. He explained some of the problems he might encounter that could possibly drive up the cost and set a date to come to the house to get a look at the site. He showed up for the inspection on time looked around and stuck to his original estimate, with a warning that my water line may run on top of the sewer line in which case if would cost additional to replace the water line. He and his crew showed up at the time and date agreed and even though it drizzled on and off all day completed the job. They put down a large tarp to protect my grass, where very careful removing bushes and plants and did a great job putting everything back . I know the job was harder than he thought it would be, the old line ran very deep, the soil was rocks and clay, the original line rain under a telephone pole at the street and sure enough my water line was on top of the sewer line. After all of that he actually charges me $100 less than the maximum estimate with the water line being replaced. I would highly recommend Mr Taciak and Sons, they do great work.

No experience since they did not return my call.

Quick response to phone message, work seemed well done. Only had one other estimate and they were lower. Not sure of the price. The price quoted for installing a system of underground drains seemed high, but I didn't get other estimates so I don't really know.

It went well. Frank was timely with an estimate and with performing the job. He put down plastic to protect the lawn which was nice. Overall it was a fine experience. I would recommend them to others.

Our septic tank drain field clogged and Frank Taciak was highly recommended by a friend. He responded promptly to my call and came out the next day to look at the problem. He answered all my questions and I would have contracted with him for the necessary perk test except his price for the perk test was $200 more than the first quote I received of $1,300. (The perk test is the first step in the process in repairing a failed drainfield).

Frank and his son arrived on 12/1/09 to perform a radio-location of the position and direction of a root-clogged and collapsed drain pipe from the front of the house to the street. Once the pipe was located, he quoted me a price for the job and said I could either pay for a radio-location report or put down a deposit on the work. I chose to put down a deposit and write up a contract with him on the spot. The utility location folks were called and identified the buried gas lines by 12/4/09. At 8:30 on the morning of 12/8/09, Frank arrived with his excavation equipment and crew and completed the job for the estimated amount by 12:45. Frank met me back at the house at 5:30pm to review the work and accept final payment.
