Can in and surveyed the problem had to get dry wall and repaired the problems

Called Lee and got a great feeling from the start. He was courteous and agreed to come and do an estimate in person. He provided the estimate and worked with me to come in and get the work done as soon as possible. It took them two days to do all the work and it was perfect. He even walked through and did some minor touch up work on some defects I noticed. Would use them again.

Everything was perfect. I haven't had any issues and cannot tell if any work was done. Everything was blended perfectly.

Lee arrived on time 1st and 2nd day with his helper. The work was completed as promised and they cleaned up everything when finished. Their work looks perfect & their point matched perfectly.

Lee responded quickly to my e mail, provided a clear written estimate after seeing the house, and was able to complete the work within a week. He and his crew arrived on time and completed all the work in one day. They were polite, professional, and left everything clean after finishing. Highly recommended.

I reached out to Heritage Painting for drywall repair work. I had a leak near a skylight which had left water damage on areas of the drywall, as well as rotted wood trim. There were some other areas I was interested in having repaired, but the skylight was my top priority. It's not a large skylight, and the total amount of drywall and trim to replace was about 2' x 4'. Lee was very prompt in responding to my call, and stopped by my home that very day to take a look. He sent me an estimate a day later. His estimate was a bit higher that I was expecting, so I decided to have him do half the work I asked for a quote on. I wanted to be sure I was getting quality work if I was going to pay a premium. I was very pleased with the work Lee and his partner Josh performed. At the end of the first day, the work wasn't finished to Josh's standards, so he asked if he could come back over the weekend to finish everything top notch. I've never had this experience with any other contractor. Lee even checked the roof to ensure no new leaks were created by their work. I will definitely work with Heritage Painting again.

Excellent experience. I was impressed with Lee when I spoke with him to schedule an estimate visit; he was prompt and friendly and emailed me a written estimate later that day. I scheduled with him and the day of the work he and his two people were right on time-ended up finishing the job a few hours earlier then I had expected. A great job and all three were friendly and professional. Will be reaching out to them again for future work.

The owner was very responsive. They were on time. They did a good job. They were professional. I would recommend them to my friends. Overall, it was a great experience.

I was extremely pleased with this company and the job they did. Lee, the owner, showed up a few minutes early to ask about any special needs or areas needing special attention. Josh and Tim showed up right on time and everyone got right to work. I had spoken to Lee by phone when scheduling and had purchased the paint he recommended. Everyone worked diligently; it was evident that they all took pride in their work and wanted to do a stellar job. This area had not been painted in over 20 years and I knew it would be a big job. All of the trim work could not be completed on the 20th so Tim came back on the 22d to finish; I was charged the Angie's list price for the additional work which I was happy to pay. They were very careful to clean up as they went. I would definitely use Heritage again and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

The entire job went very well. Heritage quickly replaced the drywall and prepared all surfaces for painting. The kitchen was given two coats along with the ceiling and trim. The job was completed on time and the kitchen left spotless. We noticed that the second coat didn't quite cover the dark original color so Heritage promptly returned to give it a third coat at no charge which did the trick. Lee is the owner and is very conscious that his crew does an outstanding job. He sticks to the estimate. They arrived on time each day and completed the job according to schedule. We have used Heritage before and will do so in the future.

All hard workers, never took a break except for brief lunch, friendly, spent as much time as necessary to do a perfect job. And kept a positive attitude at all times. Cheerful & pleasant.They patched several ceilings----two of which were in horrible shape due to water damage. They even replaced some insulation that showed signs of mold. They had to tear off all the old tape in a large living room and totaly replace it. It was sanded to perfection and painted. It looks like new. Another room had been "sponge painted' so that also needed to be sanded before painting. They also did caulking.Very amenable to homeowners wishes as to "sheen" and areas to be painted. They came prepared to work at the appointed time with all materials in hand. There was no down time. This required an amazing amount of planning on Lee's part. They removed all their materials when they were finished so quickly we were amazed. We are entirely pleased with all the work they did.We will have more work to be done next summer and will certainly call Heritage. We had Lee here about a year ago for some smaller jobs and were so impressed. That is why we called him again. He seems to be getting quite busy now so we will need to plan in advance.We couldn't be more pleased.

The home was inhabited by heavy smokers for about 40 years. The painters knew this, so they scrubbed a couple of the walls before they even painted and made sure nothing bled through. They were excellent and did a beautiful job!

Excellent!!! I would recommend them without reservation. They arrived on time and completed a tremendous amount of painting in the 8 hours allotted. The entire crew was exceptionally professional. They left the house cleaner than when they arrived.

Excellent work -- They scheduled the work to fit our schedule, came on the date they promised and finished on time. The work was excellent quality. They took their time, take pride in their work, and it shows. There isn't a single drip or run. Everything was cleaned and ready for us when they finished. All of the painters were a pleasure to work with, and we will definitely call them for our next painting job.

They were fantastic. They even stayed late to complete the job without any additional charge. They did 2 coats on one day. They did a fantastic job.

Arrived on time to start the work. All of the repairs were completed within the allocated time. We were impressed with the quality of the repairs (i.e., there is no evidence of cracks were in the wall or the ceiling); and the professionalism and attention to detail. Great job!

Lee and his employee did a great job. The paint job looks fabulous. Communication was excellent and we always knew what to expect. I would use them again.

Mr. Fleming was very polite and very nice. He was honest about the additional charges that would be involved, and gave me options on how to save money on the project. I tried to take the measurements myself to provide to him, but found it impossible to do myself, particularly in the kitchen. I found another company that would be able to do the entire project for me. Therefore, I cancelled the Big Deal, but Mr. Fleming was very pleasant to interact with.

Heritage did a great job! We were worried about getting the ceiling texture to match the rest of the house, and they did a beautiful job with it. They also replaced the sheet rock seamlessly, so that you can't tell it had been done. The painting job was done well and they cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

Lee Fleming, the owner, responded promptly to our phone message inquiry. He got us an estimate within a few days of our call. He estimated 2.5 - 3 days work for $2000. He recommended repairing the original plaster and lathe with plaster board and assured us we would be completely seamless. He was true to his word, I am delighted by the quality of the repair. The other rooms were repaired equally well and the ceilings all painted (I chose to touch up the walls myself). They arrived promptly and worked hard. I am equally impressed with his and his 2 member crew's "clean up" after each session (two days work). The affected areas were left spotless. They took great care to prevent dust from drifting out of the work areas. They finished ahead of schedule (2 full days). I plan to use Heritage Painting again when the need arises.

The only semi-negative is that because it was a Big Deal, no one came out to the house before hand and, had this happened I might have better estimated the paint needed and had a better sense of what would be done at the end of the day. That said, I did walk through my list on the phone and got some sense of the paint needed.

I was told that the service expectation that I would receive a call to set up a service appointment was not authorized by the company and that Angie's list was made aware of this mistake. Then after a couple of phone calls I received a call from the company. They told me that I was outside of the geographical service area and that they would not be able to honor the agreement. I was instructed to request a refund, which I did. If this had been the only issue I think I could have been ok with the explanation, but this came on the tail of the initial issue of the website switching my request for painting to a big deal for 2.5 days of contractor work. Even though I called Angie's list immediately I was told at the only thing I could do was request a refund. I requested the refund and it took a week to process. In the mean time I had purchase another big deal that in the the end I did not receive any service. In all, this was an abysmal failure and has caused me to think twice before purchase similar deals.

.The guy was very good and nice and cleaned up fairly well (although not perfect). He also gave me an estimate to complete another skylight in my house at a later date. I bought a Angie's list deal for this, it went by time and he did not use all of the allotted time (maybe 20 - 30 mins was left). I'm only stating this because later, after reviewing the work after he left, I noticed one small area by the skylight that still had the crack in the paint and was never touched/fixed. It was a small area and he could have easily overlooked it, but just somewhat disappointed that he did not fix it considering he still has time left on the amount of time I was allotted. Other than that, I was pleased and would use again.

This is our first experience with an Angie's List contractor. We did check Heritage Painting with the Better Business Bureau before signing up for the service. The job done was beyond our expectation. Lee and his two associates were punctual and competed the main tasks of repairing and painting several areas of drywall and painting two rooms. All was completed within eight hours. They covered the floors and carpet before they began their work and then cleaned up afterwards. We had hope to also have the trim painted too, but lacked time. Would we recommend Angie's List and Heritage Painting to others? Most definitely!
