They were great in all respects. Lee came over and checked the work to be done, and I received an email estimate that same evening. I accepted the proposal, and I was scheduled about 2-3 weeks out. Several days before the scheduled week, I got a confirmation email from Lee letting me know what day and time they would like to start. I confirmed it with him, and Lee and his crew arrived exactly on time when promised, 8AM every day for 3 days straight. They were meticulous about hanging plastic sheets and covering and moving furniture. The drywall repair was done very carefully, there are no visible seams, ripples, or divets. And I'm pretty picky. After the painting was completed, no one can ever tell that there was ever any water damage to my ceiling and wall. And they also did a great job repainting my family room, with a cathedral ceiling. You couldn't ask for any better. And to top it all off, the price was very fair. I am definitely calling them again the next time I need any paint or drywall work.

Lee came on time for the estimate and then called as he said he would to let me know a few days before he was available for the paint work. I was very pleased with his straightforwardness and he takes pride in his business and his work. His helpers were also very professional. I recommend them and will use again.

Lee is amazing! He and his crew are punctual, hard working, friendly and very reliable. He is prompt to visit and provide quotes, and was able to schedule our painting jobs within a few weeks of agreeing to the work. He prices by the job, not the hour. And he works the whole time he is on the job. You can tell by the professionalism and politeness that Lee treats his customers with that he values ever one of them, not matter how small or large the job is. The second job Lee and crew did for us was in Sept 2011 when a damaging storm left our house without power for several days - we had no air conditioning or fans, just open windows, and his crew worked straight through without a single complaint. For the current job Lee is doing for us, he responded to us ahead of sending the quote to say that priming the pine paneling walls will require the use of a harsh shellac. He committed to trying to keep the room ventilated as much as possible but wanted me to be forewarned as I am pregnant and shouldn't be exposed to the odor. His quick email to let me know this meant so much - he cared about my health ahead of caring about getting the job! Lee's business name, Heritage Painting, is spot on as he truly embraces the "heritage" of being a small business owner by perfecting his craft, genuinely caring about the customers he serves and providing a service that stands the test of time.

We had a very positive experience with Heritage from beginning to end. My husband dealt with Lee, the owner, and was very impressed with his work and professionalism. They came when promised and performed high-quality work for us. We are going to be using them again for more work in our home.

It was very easy to get an estimate when I requested one and the price quoted was reasonable. On the day scheduled, the contractor showed up on time and ready to work. Lee was very professional, answered all my questions. He made sure the areas were cleaned at the end of each day. The end result was outstanding, definitely met/exceeded my expectations. Most outstanding service of this type I ever experienced. Top quality work, reasonable price, tremendous courtesy demonstrated by Lee and his helper,and fantastic work processes/cleanliness.Room was totally sealed off in plastic,and each step of the process was methodically organized and executed flawlessly.I have dealt with a variety of paint/drywall contractors over the years, and no one came close to the experience I had working with Heritage. Heritage is number one in my opinion.

A young man who does try to please. Had to have them come back to recoat a ceiling that was painted unevenly. Also after the job I found paint on my faucet, counter tops and kitchen chairs.

On the day of the estimate, Lee showed up on time. When we scheduled the work, Lee came with Tim to consult on the job. Tim worked for two days and did a great job. Lee came by periodically to check in. I would use Heritage in the future.

He was friendly and professional. The price was reasonable. I do wish that he had used a drop cloth before sanding.

The service went very well. We were very pleased with them. It was just a couple of young men. They were very professional and did the work. We got the price through Angie’s List and because of that I would give them A for their price, but I do not know what their prices would be otherwise. It was a sale.

The painters arrived on time, painted all 3 areas, and cleaned up after themselves. I was very satisfied with their work.

He ended cutting a hole in the ceiling to repair a vent issue. He patched it back up, and he did a great job. He was very easy to work with. They are definitely a good company.

I bought two Big Deals, three painters for eight hours. No issues with scheduling (Feb 2013) and going over the type of paint to purchase. Lee and his crew arrived on time both days with all their equipment. I own a two story condo. In two days they painted the entire downstairs, stairway, second floor hall, powder room, all ceilings, master bedroom and bath. Lee and his crew cleaned up and left nothing behind. I was so pleased that I had Lee come back and paint the last two bedrooms. My condo is gorgeous! I had no problem leaving them in my home while I ran errands. If Lee needed more paint, he called 45-30 minutes before he ran out. Lee is skilled in other work, so he will be coming back to do work in the attached garage.

Lee and his crew were GREAT! They arrived on time each day and worked steadily, with a break for lunch only. They were careful, very attentive to details and they do high quality work. Lee is very customer service oriented. He returned my emails both before and after the job within hours. He wants the customer to be completely satisfied. I had one piece of artwork on a high wall over the stairs, and had not realized before they left that I needed the hook put back. I contacted Lee via email, and he returned later the same evening, replaced the hook, and rehung my artwork. The drywall repair is fantastic, I cannot even tell there was a hole in the wall. It is seamless, and looks very nice. This is the first time I have hired painters, in the past I have always done my own painting. I'm a perfectionist, and was hesitant to have someone else do the painting. This was a great experience, and I already have them scheduled to paint two more rooms in August. The service that they provided me was straightforward. They came and do the job and nothing gone wrong. I did pay them extra for the additional service that they provided me.

They are excellent. It was a three day job and they show up on time and work hard everyday. The job they did was perfect. There were some tricky areas to repair, but they made it look like new again!! I will hire them again!

I attempted to set up an appointment on 5 separate occasions. He never returned my phone calls. The one time he actually answered his phone, he said he was too busy and I needed to call back another time. He wouldn't even take down my information.

Lee and his crew were amazing. Our house is nearly 30 years old, and time and "wear and tear" had left its mark. All totaled they were in our house about 2 weeks. ( For awhile I kept adding on to the job everyday when I saw the quality of work they were doing.) They arrived promptly everyday, took normal lunch breaks and worked a full 8 hours. They were quiet, professional, and pleasant to work with. They handled themselves with professionalism and maturity far beyond their young ages. Their work is absolutely top notch. They will definitely be coming back here! I am already working on my next list of jobs for them.

Professional on the phone asked all the right questions and then asked when I needed work done, I said yesterday and he said he was 4-5 weeks out I thanked him and am still looking.

We really liked them. If we would have needed the service we would have used them. Lee was very honest in telling and advising what was best for our situation.

We are selling our 1940s city rowhouse, and had to have some lead paint remediated due to a VA loan appraisal stipulation. We were VERY crunched for time and needed someone out literally the next day. I called multiple companies and received quotes. Lee answered my call immediately and gave me an extremely fair estimate over the phone due to our time constraint just by using cell phone pictures. He came out the very next day, as well as the day after to get all the items on the list done. There were a few areas he sent me pictures of that were also damaged, but not noted on the appraisal, that he offered me a very fair price on to have scraped/painted in addition to the estimate. The estimate and the extras I agreed to were all he charged, nothing more. He was so pleasant, punctual and really made life easier. He cleaned up everything very well, I wouldn't have even known he was there. I highly recommend Lee and Heritage, they're first class all the way.
