Lee showed up on time, and began work immediately. He helped me move some furniture out of the way, and covered the floor and some shelves on the wall to ensure everything stayed dust and paint-free. He finished repairing the missing square in the ceiling (as well as other uneven spots) and repainted in less than 4 hours. He even repaired a drawer in my kitchen while he was waiting for adhesive to dry! He cleaned up everything and vacuumed when he was finished. I was thoroughly impressed with the work when it was finished--I could not even tell that there was a square missing to begin with. After the paint dried, I again tried to see where the outline of the square hole was, and it's impossible to tell. Lee, himself, was very respectful and kind--far different from contractors I've had in the past, which is why I joined Angie's List in the first place. I would definitely recommend Heritage Painting, LLC, and am planning to contact them for future jobs.

Lee Fleming and his guys did a fantastic job from start to finish. We couldn't have been happier with the professionalism and the final product. Our house looks amazing thanks to Lee.

While Lee was initially a bit backed up with responses to the Big Deal, he did the work on the date estimated. Overall, a great experience. His crew was pleasant, punctual, professional and kept the work area neat during the three day job, as well as a good final clean up. Also did a "sensitive" job in trimming some yew bushes which were in the way. As a result of this experience, have requested an estimate on some interior work. A friend, who stopped by to see the progress, even commented to Tim and Josh that she couldn't believe that they could cut the trim in so neatly. Would definitely recommend.

I had three companies recommended on Angie's List give me estimates. Lee Fleming's of Heritage Painting was the lowest, and he gave a very favorable, low-key but professional, impression. I had used his company before for some interior ceiling plastering work and was very pleased with the work. Lee came out promptly to give an estimate in mid-April and work was begun I think May 4. The crew worked (in numbers ranging from 1-4) as weather permitted, and completed the work May 25, ahead of Lee's estimated completion date. Lee usually sent me an e-mail the night before he sent out workers to let me know to expect them. The crew (Josh, Gene, Tim - and some days, Lee) was professional (no loud music playing or talking; swept up, and usually disposed of, scraped paint at the end of the day; worked steadily; used drop cloths; were courteous; wiped off their shoes when they entered the house to use the bathroom, etc.). The paint used was a high quality Sherwin Williams type. I think an oil base was used and a latex top coat. I am very, very pleased with the way the house looks! I highly recommend Lee Fleming's Heritage Painting.

Lee is great! We had an issue an could not go to settlement on our original date so we had to cancel our appointment with Lee. When we finally did get a new settlement date, Lee unfortunately, could not fit us into his schedule. He did however, recommend other painters for us. When we meet with Lee the first time, he was very professional. I would contact Lee again.

They arrived on time both days and worked straight through until they were done.

We hired Heritage Painting to install drywall in one of the bedrooms of our home (built 1904). Lee was quick to respond for our inquiry for an estimate. Even though he wasn't the cheapest estimate we received, we felt as though he was the best person for the job. After entering the contract with Heritage, the process went smoothly and exactly as described. Lee arrived on time every day and worked efficiently knocking out the project as quickly as could be expected. Lee threw in a coat of primer on the walls and installed new trim in the room as well. In addition to installing the drywall, Lee repaired a few areas of damaged plaster in other rooms. We were very pleased with the service we received and have already recommended Heritage Painting to other family members.

Painters arrived on time, did a fantastic job, and left on time. The work was very very good, and the price was excellent compared to a couple other estimates we had received. Also, having the ability to quickly pay by credit card was a nice touch. We will definitely be using Heritage again.

Smoothed out the awful old sculpted plaster ceiling and painted the walls, ceiling and radiator cover. He came exactly when he said he would and the final bill was exactly what the original estimate was. He cleaned up after he was done as well. We have already given his business card to friends and family. We feel confident doing so.

Like many others have reported, I found Heritage Painting on Angie's List and contacted Lee Fleming by email as a result of the glowing reports submitted about his work. Lee quickly followed up with a phone call. We played a little phone tag but he always followed up promptly. He came out to look at the site and provide an estimate. It was a small job and I discovered there are many contractors (even some highly rated ones on Angie's List) who are not interested in doing a small job such as this, but that was not the case with Heritage Painting. Lee is polite, professional, and very knowledgeable about his work. As promised, he emailed an estimate to me with a very reasonable price and we scheduled a work date later that week. Lee is one of the most meticulous contractors I've ever met. From start to finish, he kept the work site clean, went about his work efficiently causing minimal disruption to my home--especially since I work out of my home office, and his workmanship is excellent. The drywall installation was perfect with precise measurements and the joint compound he applied and sanded over the seams and nail holes were the smoothest I've ever seen. That wide crack in the seam in the dining room located so high above the stairwell that other contractors would not touch it? Lee fixed it within 20 minutes. I have other work to be done in my home over the next several months and I look forward to working with Heritage Painting again.

I purchased an Angie's List coupon for $99 for 3 hours of plastering work with Heritage Painting. The plasterer, Nelson, arrived on time as scheduled that morning. I showed him my living room plaster ceiling with a hole of about 10 inches in diameter with crumbling plaster surrounding it. Nelson listened to my concerns when he told me he would be using a drywall patch and I protested that it was a plaster ceiling. He explained how he planned to repair it with drywall and of his 14 years of experience in the field. I trusted his respectful attitude and his experience and asked him to proceed. A trip to a hardware store was necessary to get extra drywall, but only a half hour of an hour and a half trip was included in the allotted time. The work was completed in several steps, with Nelson explaining each step. It took awhile to complete the several layering process (fan drying was necessary between layers) but it was finished early that afternoon. The repair was the best I've ever seen (we've had this area "repaired" three times before)! The finish is smooth - perfect! One would never guess where the repair was done. I HIGHLY recommend Nelson with Heritage Painting for plastering and plan to call Heritage for an estimate of painting my home.

Lee arrived right on time. He was able to accomplish all my requests in the allotted time and the work is first rate. He was very neat, polite and professional. I would definitely reccommend him and the company.

.We contacted Lee after reading glowing reviews on Angie's List. He returned our initial call very promptly and came out quickly to estimate the job. Very shortly thereafter we received an estimate via email. He arrived on the day and at the time that he said he would. Our house was built in 1937 and the walls required major prep work. Lee and his assistant Nelson did a fabulous job. He is very detail oriented and it shows in the finished product. He said the job would take 3 days and it did. His final price was the same amount he quoted in the estimate. We have already arranged for Lee to do another job for us. We cannot recommend him highly enough!!!

A pleasure to work with Heritage from the minute I first called (monday afternoon) to set up an estimate until the work was finished. Lee Fleming came out the very next morning (tuesday) to provide estimate and performed the work on the friday. All the work was completed in one day and they were very careful to keep mess to a minimum -eg. putting sheets down to protect floors and carpets throughout the house, and no dust from drywall repairs (not sure how they did that :) . The finished product was perfect! Very happy! Thanks Lee!

I purchased a Big Deal from Heritage to patch holes in the ceiling and walls from where there had been plumbing work. Nelson arrived when he said he would, was very professional, and did a thorough job. I decided to contact them again for an estimate to paint my entire downstairs (kitchen, dining room, living room, and stairwell, including ceilings) of my row home. Lee got back with me quickly and came out to survey the job. He sent the estimate to me in a few days, and, as we discussed included the upstairs hallway in the estimate. Because of my schedule, we scheduled the start date for a few weeks later. Lee and Nelson arrived on time with everything they needed, and got right to work. They patched some small cracks on the walls and the on the trim around the windows. Over the course of 2.5 days, they transformed my home! They were detailed and clean, and did an excellent job. I could not be more pleased with the quality of their work and highly recommend them.

The quality of work is absolutely gorgeous, done with great care and attention to detail and the price was reasonable. Both were very professional and courteous. Would not hesitate to call on them again for any painting I need done. Have had other painters in for similar jobs, but Heritage is by far the best. Could not be happier.

We had Heritage paint our living and dining room. Took 2 days for both rooms, including all trim/baseboards/crown molding. Great price. Professional and clean job. The paint looks perfect and we have received lots of compliments from holiday guests. Very satisfied as this is our second experience with Heritage....will use them again.

Lee and has assistant, Nelson, returned my initial inquiries about the work immediately, visited my condo the same day to provide a written estimate, and arranged to perform the work according to my calendar. The entire job required 7 full days to complete. Lee and Nelson worked their a**** off for 8 to 9 hours a day, both of them, never complained, and were proud of their work. I've never had this work done before, so I have very little to compare it to. However, I can say that by the look of the final product, and by how hard they worked to complete it, the ceiling looks outstanding! I also received 4 other estimates. Heritage Painting offered the lowest while also projecting honesty, great customer service, and a commitment to perform good work for the money. I even felt comfortable enough to give them an extra set of keys to my condo so they could come and go freely. I would rate the quality of their work about a 10 out of 10, and value about the same. I would absolutely recommend them for this kind of work, but be prepared for a messy job. There is no way around it.

Heritage owner/Lee and another painter arrived as scheduled and worked all day - approximately 8 hours. Finished product: Excellent! and the little "customers" love their "new" rooms. About a week later, I had someone come in to refishing the wood floor in one of the bedrooms. In the process of refinishing, they stained the baseboards and they needed to be repainted. Lee came out the day after I called and repainted. Great customer service.

Lee and his team were efficent, professional and outstanding. They arrived every day on time, left on time and worked very fast. The finished product was impeccable. It looked like a new house. We couldnt' find one flaw with their work. We will use them again. Beautiful, fast work at an outstanding price. You can't beat it! Thanks Lee!

They did a very nice job. They were very professional. They did excellent work and their price was reasonable.

I haven't personally seen the room yet, but my husband sent me a photo, I love the color and he said that they did a great job. I can't wait to see it. It was wonderful working with Maryland Heritage Painting and we will definitely use them again. I can't paint to save my life. I might even have them come and redo the room I painted really poorly upstairs when we first moved in.

Lee from Heritage Painting was able to give us an estimate over email after we accidentally stood him up. He gave us a good price and was able to come out within days to repair multiple areas of damage in our drywall after a recent break in/vandalism. Lee was able to patch, replace, mud, sand, and paint all walls affected (about 8) and paint additional walls in 2 days. He has been prompt, professional, and courteous. After having a lot of trouble just finding someone to come out, Lee exceeded our expectations. Our tenant returned home today, stating "It's as if the damage never even happened ". Very satisfied and will use again:)
