Perfect, they gave me a 30 minute call in advance to when they'd be there, came in the window they said they would, and fixed my problem. Very happy with their service.

The technican was nice but he spent only about 10 mins on the unit. He cleaned a small part and put a new filter in that we had purchased. My issue, I assumed a winter check up and cleaning was a "complete" cleaning of the furance to remove dirt and dust build up. Lesson learned, always ask what is included in a furnance cleaning. The cost seemed fair when I booked the appointment for but it certainly wasn't for the service received.

I had Pipco perform a spring tune-up of my HVAC system (05/12/13). The work went fine, but the service tech found that the Humidifier Control was faulty (operating erratically). He said he would have to order the control and would contact me when it was available, to schedule another visit. I expected to be called and given an estimate to replace the humidifier control. No one ever called. And, since we were going into the AC Season, I didn't follow-up. However, on October 24th I called Pipco and explained to the woman who answered the phone what had transpired in May. I gave her the information from the May Invoice and she said that she would contact Gary (the tech) and he would call back. No one called back, so I called a second time on Nov 7th. Again I gave the woman who answered the phone the information. She promised that either she of Gary would respond by the end of the day. There was no call-back. On 12/02/13, I contacted Pipco for the Third Time and explained to Jenifer (got a name this time) that I need a working humidifier for the heating season. She speculated that the control was not available, to which I replied that I would then need a new Humidifier with a new Control. Again I was promised a call-back By the End Of The Day. I allowed two full additional work days for that call-back before writing this review (It is 6:20 pm on Dec. 4th). Based upon my experience, I can not understand how this company acquired the rating that it has.

During the recent heat wave, our AC went on the fritz and we decided to get two opinions on the problem. Brian from Pipco showed up on time and informed us that the compressor was shot. He did however seem somewhat intimidated by the limited rear yard access. He stated that he would have us a quote for new AC and heater by end of day. We never received the quote, I called the office the following day and asked the status of the quote, the receptionist stated that Brian would call me, no response was ever received. We had another quote from Blue Dot Services and decided to have them do the installs. They were prompt, did an excellent job, were in and out quickly and the limited yard access presented them no problems what so ever and on a 100 degree day. I would not suggest Pipco to anyone needing an AC install requiring specialized installation skills or prompt follow up.

When my wife and I bought our new 1970's home, we decided we wanted to replace the original furnace rather than risk having it die mid-winter and losing our heat. I called six HVAC companies for quotes to replace the equipment. Pipco was not the cheapest but Vince, who apparently runs the company, was the most thorough while evaluating the size of the home to determine the equipment needed. He was also very honest and friendly when he sat down with me and told me that we could replace the furnace with a smaller unit than the existing model. He seemed very trustworthy and when I called to speak with him, he was very responsive and returned my phone calls quickly. Its true that they weren't the cheapest company that quoted us, but the fact that they were the 2nd cheapest quote combined with all the reasons above, we decided to have Pipco install our new furnace. Since its still the middle of the summer, I cannot vouch for how well the unit works, but it looks nice and is much smaller than the old one. I'll try to check back in once the cold weather begins and we start using the new furnace.

Overall it went very well. The owner was very personable and really cared about the equipment he proposed for the job. We met a couple of times to discuss what I needed to solve a problem of an over heated sunroom. We e-mailed info. back and forth and arrived at a good solution. Pipco's quote was lower than a quote submitted earlier. We discussed the energy rebates that worked out well. The men came on schedule and completed their work as planned. The workmanship was very good. They cleaned up after themselves. I don't think I paid too much, I am very happy with the installation.

It was very good!!! Their service was excellent. I liked them a lot and they did a great job.

They did a really excellent job installing our heat pump. They really made a lot of improvements, and we can see an improvement in our utility bills. They are just very dependable, and they really show extensive expertise in pinpointing any problems and giving maintenance suggestions. They are very good at explaining changes that need to be made.

Our technician arrived during the scheduled time. He was extremely professional and thorough. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without getting annoyed or rushing through the answers. He explained the age of our furnace and future options without trying to just get me to buy a new furnace.

We are very pleased with the help and service that we received. We definitely recommend this company. Vince came out the same day we called and fixed our heat which was not working. He didn't pressure us to replace our furnace. He was very friendly, nice to our kids, and very knowledgeable about the heating and AC business and brands. The men who put in our new system, Vernan and Gary, were very professional, knowledgeable, and did a good job.

Very Very respectful. The only company, out of the 8 I contacted, to give me ball park figure based on another company's evaluation of problem combined with my relative (who serviced system for last 25 years) opinion. New tenant moving in over Memorial Day in heat wave with no AC. They were able to schedule work times with tenant and keep me aware of progress (I live on opposite side of clock) throughout project. This is important really, don't need 8 scheduled checks to give estimate. Financing was a breeze, just one click on link from their website. They made sure I got all rebates available. They were chilling in just a few days despite holiday. I was told that installers were very polite and took care to respect property (small front door, hardwood floors, tight curving stairway with banister and dry wall, to install in closet under steps) and left no signs that they were there other than cool fresh air. The tenant has paid less over last 4 months to BG&E with 5 family members than I did over summer of 2006 when I live there with 2 family members that were not home 60 hrs a week.

The service man had to come twice to fix the problem. Did not charge me the second time. Never experienced such courtesy before in my dealing with air conditioning companies during the past 30 years.

I comtacted PIPCO , I believe in febuary of 2012. I was pleased with puntuality and the quote that I recieved for a new furnace. Unfortuanely due to a financial hardship i was not able to get the work done that I originaly wanted. So I called to weeks ago and left a message for Bryan tocall me back in reference to either an ammended quote or having another estimate given for just installing my gas dryer and capping off a gas heater in my basement. I have since called back 9 times and I have yet to recieve a call back. After 4 days I was initially told that the note was still on his board and he was working long days ...after a few more days I called and was told that there was no note on the board and they were unaware of my calls , but I should keep in mind that the workers are really busy I still have not heard from the company. When i last called I told the eceptionist that "why would I hire a company who can not return my phone call when I want to pay fpr a service. Why would I expect them to return a call if something went wrong!" In response to PIPCOs comment..my mailbox its not full...in addition I did nut have any missed calls..i mean why would I nit want to receive their phone calls...but it indeed is not set up. But i am uploading the pdf document that clearly stats that they where going to remove the greater and connect the dryer...therefore i find it hilarious that the company says that they do not perform these service s.

I've been a customer of Pipco for 3 years. They replaced a defective compressor in a new house shortly after we moved in, and they do a spring air conditioning check every year and fix any problems they find. This year, I scheduled an A/C check and also asked for an estimate to fix problems with duct work in the attic. The service technician (Brian) performed the maintenance and took measurements so that the estimator (Vince) could come up with an accurate estimate for the duct work. Two and a half weeks have passed since the measurements were taken. I've left 4 messages at Pipco for someone to call with an estimate. Each time, I'm promised that someone will get back to me that day. No one has ever returned a call. Pipco is clearly not interested in the job, but why do they treat an established customer this way? I think their service technicians are excellent - prompt, reliable, professional, and courteous. I wanted Pipco to fix my duct work because of the work their technicians do - I'm sure the job would have been top-quality. If the office staff at Pipco were as excellent as the service technicians, I'd give them straight A's.

My furnace was not functioning, and I placed a call to Pipco's emergency line around 10:00 on a Friday night. The technician called before 8 the next morning, and arrived at the house around 8:30. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty pressure switch, and was able to replace it on the spot as he had the part in his car. It was $96 for the emergency visit and $65 to replace the switch. Neither of those prices seems particularly cheap, but then again emergency service rarely is. I was very impressed that he came so promptly and am relieved to have heat again.

I haved used Pipco for over six years. Their work has always been excellent. The service person arrives as scheduled, perfroms the work efficiently, reports on what was found and work performed. When I had an outage, the firm attended to it promptly. I would highly recommend Pipco to other householders.

The whole installation went like clockwork. I first contacted PIPCO in early July to get a quote. Once the unit was selected, I chose a mid October delivery date.

Pipco arrived to give me an estimate on time and analyzed my old system. When I complained about the cooling ability of the old system, He didn't just upsize me, he looked at the ductwork, and he found that my main 2nd floor return was not working. The old system was pulling air from the attic instead of the living space. None of the other companies that quoted me checked this. Thanks again for that. They provided me the estiamte via email within a few hours and I looked up the specs of what they quoted and was happy. I sent over the contract and deposit, and we were on our way. When the day of the install arrived, it seemed like the whole company was there to make sure it got done and got me cool as fast as possible. There were 7 workers there! Oh did I mention it was like 95 degrees out? They got the old stuff removed very quickly and got to work on the new. They had to drill through the cinder blocks for the PVC furnace venting, and had a team of 2 on this. They had another 2 working on the outside A/C compressor location, grading it, running the tubing, wiring, and installing the new disconnect switch. They had another 2 working inside on the new furnace. The 7th took some measurements and returned to the shop 30 mins away to fabricate a perfect return duct adapter system to match the size of the existing duct to the new furnace and media filter. They worked very well as a team, and when one part was done, they moved on to start the kitchen duct or help the others, They did start disappearing when the job was nearing completion until there was only one left to show me the new thermostat and do a final test. They left a satisfied and happily cooling down customer behind. No mess and everything worked. I have since had them back for service twice. The first time was in the fall when I turned on the heat, It worked for a random amount of time, but would then shut off and throw an error code. It turns out that the max output of the burner needed to be lowered. It was over heating. I have no negative feelings about that. When they installed the system in 95 degree weather, testing the heat output for 30 minutes was the very last thing on my mind! The second was simply for a yearly checkup and cleaning, I have had no other issues with the system. The 1st service call was responded to quickly (like the next day) when there was a problem with the heat. The second call for the cleaning, was handled slower, with them scheduling me out about 3 weeks. I was not having issues so I am completely fine with that, but thought I would put it here in case the reader would not be. Both times, they arrived on time.

If PIPCO is this unreliable in just getting a project cost quote, what are they like under contract? Be warned and be careful of this company!

They are very nice, and prompt, and do a pretty good job. They did work on my previous house and was very pleased, so I chose to use them again.
