I have used this company 6 years ago, and their service was perfectly adequate. So when my ac broke, I went back to them. This time, the woman answering the phone, Connie, told me the work could be done the following week. I said ok, and booked the appointment, which some doubt because she was very slow to take my information. When the ac unit started leaking water in the basement the next day, I called them, and spoke again to Connie to change the appointment to the following day, so I could be home, rather then my 18 yr old. I was told no problem to switch. At 8:30 am on the day the service was scheduled, I called them to find out what time they would be here. I was then informed after a lengthy search for my work ticket, that I was told by them that I had moved the appointment to Friday. When I stated that I would have never have done that since my only day off work this week was Thursday, I was told that they told me Friday and I was aware it was Friday. I asked if someone could come out today. They said no, only Friday. So after waiting 9 days for their service, in a sweat box of a house, I went on Angie's list and found another service that can come out this afternoon. I will NEVER use Pipco again after their scheduling incompetence and rudeness.

They were usually pretty reliable. Pricing was average. I would probably use them in the future.

It did not go - What do I make with that ? This company was recommended by a friend who had their a/c replaced by them. Pretty much the same I needed to do. I cannot rate the quality of their work, because I could not try it ! But apparently they have enough work, they don't need more clients.

Vince showed up on time and was very professional. He measured the space and provided a quote immediately. His team showed up on the scheduled date and did an outstanding job.

He was on time, handled all the regular steps with ease. The service provider also graciously answers several related questions that I had about my dehumidifier as well as the working condition of my main furnace. Although our furnace is fairly old, he said that it still had life in it, and did not try to steer me toward buying a new one yet.

I don't like their way of scheduling things. They only schedule for that day. You get a call early that morning to tell you when they'll come. You can't really choose when they come out, just the day.

The owner came to my house to give me the estimate. In a timely manner, two men installed a new Trane A/C system. They were prompt, courteous and showed expertise and knowledge in the installation. I was very pleased. I had to call back once with an inquiry and received a prompt reply.

Received a consultation and proposal for a new high efficiency HVAC system. Although we did not select Pipco Air Conditioning to perform the work, I wanted to share our experience. The company demonstrates excellent communication, punctuality and very competitive pricing. Brian came to our home and performed a complete review of our existing system and advised us of the best system to meet our needs and budget. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Pipco is an excellent company and supplied a very competitive bid. Brian responded very quickly to any and all questions we had during and after the initial consultation. He went to extra effort to make sure we were comfortable and well informed. We received estimates from several HVAC contractors and made the very tough decision. Even though we did not choose PIpco to perform the work, this company is *definitely* one to select for the job. Pipco is a top notch company with excellent customer service. Their ratings on Angie's List are a true demonstration of their abilities and you won't be disappointed.

Pipco has excellent customer service and I highly recommend them. They completed our A/C job quickly, cleaned up nicely and we have had no issues at all with the unit or anything else. They even went above and beyond to patch the open vent in the front of our house and match the siding, preventing us from having to hire a general contractor to do it. Pricing was competitive and the personal touch and assistance cannot be beat.

Very well. We weren't in a hurry for it so it was about 7 weeks after contract signed and deposit that install date was scheduled. Installers very pleasant and efficient. One week after installation a technician needed to return to our home to do minor correction and he was exceptionally helpful and friendly. An asset to the company. Brian, the estimator was personable knowledgable and very informative. He took time with us and was very patient and didn't do a hard sell job on us. Also, his response time for communication is excellent . We have used Pipco in the past and we will continue to use them for future needs. Their prices are competitive and they are reliable and efficient, and dependable.

!The provider sends us a notice on what date they will do the maintenance services on my heat pumps systemsor I have to tell them the date that is convenient for me. The provider service men even puts a cover on their shoes so as not to "dirty" our floors, either marble or wood. How many people do you know who are that considerate! After the services are done, they will explain what they did line by line and will not leave until they have answered all our questions. They are very respectful and very easy to work with. We have stayed with them for a number of years and have referred our relatives to them i.e my sister-in-law in Catonsville, MD, who is also very pleased with their services.

Vince P., the owner, personally came out to do the estimate, and he was very personable, yet 'no-nonsense'. I had gotten 3 other estimates for this work, yet Pipco was equipped to do more work than the other HVAC companies were willing to do--and for less money--so I was delighted. Within a few days, Gary arrived on time, and worked steadily with few breaks. Vince returned to take a look around before Gary left. The caulking of the metal pieces below the floor registers isn't the work of an artist, but it serves its purpose. I am very happy to have had this work done, as the indoor air quality is improved, and I feel that my HVAC system is more efficient. I highly recommend this company!

The old A/c broke evening of June 4th, we called three companies-explained we have a senior with hearth conditions- only Pipco tried to squeeze us in within 48 hours for diagnostic visit. We have used them in the past and were happy so went with them again. Bryan came as agreed checked everything and recommended that in addition to the A/C we replace the furnace as well ( we were planning to do it anyhow). We also asked for central humidifier for winter and got that as well. We wanted bigger units thinking bigger is better, Bryan ever so patiently explained that this will not be good as the A/C will short cycle and the furnace will be to much for the ducts. He also worked out some state of Maryland rebates for us and was able to arrange for 60 months free financing. Front office is also amazing and the lady answering phones is very considerate. The technicians were very good, and if it were not for the new units one could not tell work was done that whole day-spotless!

Each year we get a postcard reminding us to get our air conditioning units serviced. I called and made an appointment. We were called that morning to give us the time. The service man was on time and serviced the units. We have been very pleased with Pipco for ,any years.

Air conditioning was not working when tried to turn it on for the first time in the season. Had to set up appointment 6 days later because they were booked up. They will not give you an appointment time, but rather will call you between 730 and 8 to tell you what time they will come on the day of service. With two appointments required for service, that means I had to take two days off. First appointment was fine. Diagnosed issue and said they would order part. I did not hear back whether they ordered part and how long it would take. I called to get information. At first, they would not set up an appointment until the part came in. I refused to allow them to do that, given it took 6 days to get an appointment the first time. They finally agreed to set up an appointment. Again, no time given until the day of. On the day of, I was told they would be there between 2-4. Got a call around 3:15 that they would be late. Did not get there till 4:45. Service appointment went fine.

We have a large old (1930) stone house with steam heat and no duct work. Pipco's owner made several visits and worked closely with us to design duct work and a complimentary air conditioning system to efficiently cool the house. Installation was quick, neat and professional in every respect. More important, the system works beautifully. After years of lugging inefficient window air conditioners around, the change was very nice indeed. There have been two small problems since, both handled efficiently within a day.

The work was first class. I recommend them to all. They were very clean during and after the job and they answered any questions that I had.

They removed the furnaces and air conditioners with care, so I was able to donate the to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. They cleaned up all old unused lines to the chimney and patched all holes in the wall. Then they installed a high efficiency Trane 2-stage 18 Seer furnace and air conditioning unit. They answered all my questions and cleaned up all their work. Vince was extremely helpful in helping me decide the best HVAC unit for my house, Connie took care of all the paperwork, including participating on a conference call with me and BGE to determine the steps for removing the extra meter. Wayne is one of the most skilled HVAC techs I've ever seen and does functional, beautiful work.

During Winter Storm Titan our furnace went out. We spent a cold Sunday night before any HVAC businesses opened on Monday. I called several repair places, Pipco is the only service provider who advertises emergency service that returned my call. As much of our area was not yet plowed they didn't know when they would get to us but said they would come as soon as possible. Our road had not been plowed when Pipco showed up at our door - before lunch! Thirty minutes later we had heat. There were no additional charges for emergency service or for the headache of reaching us in the snowstorm. I give my highest recommendation to Pipco and will use them exclusively from now on.

They did a good job. They were very polite and on time. I would use them again.

It didn't go at all, Pipco was totally non-responsive.

Our furnace stopped working on Saturday night. Since we have two zones and it was clearly not an emergency, we called Monday morning when the office opened at 7:30 AM. A service man was here at 9:30 AM and we had heatWe have used PIPCO on two We used PIPCO on two prior occasions. I was very impressed when I first called because the office manager asked very pertinent questions such as if there were elderly people, children, or others who would be compromised with the lack of heat. What a wonderful way to prioritize their work requests. This simple question is probably why we will keep using PIPCO.

They were excellent and I would definitely use them again. I received 3 estimates before I made my decision. The salesman that did the estimate was great and I didn't feel rushed or pressured. He was able to save me some money and let me know about rebates and discounts through Angie’s List. It took 3 days for them to finish the work and they did a great job and kept the job site very clean. They were also very personable and professional through the whole experience.

They were terrific on all counts on the initial install of AC in our house. They were also great advising us on changing from oil to natural gas.
