I inherited an antique Period 18th century Blanket Chest, dated from the 1730's to the 1760's, that was in bad shape. We discussed my expectations of the final product and the importance of our family's heirloom. Once we met common ground, he not only met my expectations but the final product totally blew my mind, and restored a peice of my family's heritage. Therefore I thought it only fair to blog his page. My Blanket Chest is now a center peice in my living room, which initially gave me my first shred of faith in seeking his services. His reputation speaks for himself and exceeded all expectations of my discouraged family members who had given up on the future of this peice. You couldn't go wrong hiring Mr. Harvey, and he is always good for a good laugh.
Description of Work: The chest when it was originally built had an original textured finish which had been painted over through the years. Mr. Miller was able to remove the exterior finsh that had covered its original beauty without disturbing the orinaly beauty of the peice. When he was finished it had increaded It's value and worth. He was able to unclothe the original artist. What we thought we had turned out to be a whole lot more than we both had anticipated.
