My basement had sewage that overflowed from the toilet and shower stall into the rest of the basement. Top to Bottom Renovations quoted a fair price and submitted the paperwork to the insurance company. They did an excellent job with the cleanup and I would not hesitate to use them again if needed.

Top to bottom renovation provided me with amazing service. They were referred to me solely for the water clean up by my insurance company due to a leek in my kitchen. However, due to the extreme professionalism, care and concern from not only the owners but the entire team I also asked if they were able to complete to repair portion as well which thankfully they were. They did an outstanding job at making the process easy for me from start to finish. Mr Fred and Andre both were very patient and explained the entire process so I was aware of what to expect they also set realistic deadlines. And actually certain things bet those deadlines which made things even better for me and my family. I was treated as if I was apart of their family. After the initial project was completed I had additional work that needed to be done and once again Mr Fred and their team stepped right in and the work was completed not only much quicker than I expected the pricing was extremely fair and the quality of work was once again outstanding. I highly recommend Top to Bottom Renovations they are an outstanding company and a pleasure to work with.

It went very well on both projects. I could not have asked for a better contract, very attentive to the customer questions and needs. Mr. Johnson ensured everything was according to my wishes for the contracted work and the additional work I hired his company to do. I wish all contractors worked as well as this company dies!

I highly recommend Top to Bottom Renovation. Fred Johnson, the owner, guided me through repair to my house caused by an auto accident. He was able to acquire permits and arrange inspections in a timely manner even though local government offices were operating under pandemic restrictions. Top to Bottom employees were skillful, polite, personable, and reliable. I really appreciated the fact that Mr. Johnson informed me what days workers were coming. I did not have to wonder if someone was going to show up on a given day. In addition, Top to Bottom kept to the timeline we discussed in our initial meeting. Most importantly, I was totally satisfied with the completed work. Top to Bottom did everything that was outlined in our contract plus a few other things.

I am the principal of a school and I needed to have the school hallways painted. Top to Bottom was by far the best quote, but the best part was the quality of paint and the overall job was amazing. I will hire them again in the future as the school is very old and has a lot of renovation needed.

The staff at Top to Bottom were great to work with. The staff were very professional, punctual and did a beautiful restoring my entire basement flooring, bathroom flooring and vanity, painting of my entire basement, replacement of doors and much more. They did such a great job, I will be hiring them once again to take care of home improvement needs. I would highly recommend them.

I LOVE MY NEW BASEMENT!!! From start to finish, this team was soooo professional! After my experience with Top To Bottom, Inc. I'll never hire another contractor to do anything! I'm calling Fred! My basement flooded and I had a lot of mildew. It ruined everything. The drywall had to be pulled out, flooring removed, bathroom repaired, painting, plumbing, etc. I began by checking the ratings on Angie's list and found this local company (Waldorf) who could do everything. I remember calling Fred early one Tuesday morning and the first thing he said was - "I'll be there in an hour...don't worry. We'll take care of everything. We will work with you and manage the process with your insurance company." Man..did he ever! His team worked to remove all evidence of mold in my basement, carefully attentive to all standards and guidelines. The commitment and attention to detail..hands down - the best. Fred worked closely with his team to supervise and ensure top quality! He worked closely with me to ensure that the rebuild was exactly to my liking. Everyone that he sent to my home was kind and arrived on time (unless I was advised otherwise). When they worked - it was a FULL day and they worked hard! They were also very diligent about day-to-day projects, ensuring that their work area was clean and prepped for the next day of work. He was very detailed when it came to cost and timeline and was diligent about working with my insurance company to file adjustment costs. As a homeowner, its so stressful when something goes wrong with your home and you have to engage the insurance company. I can't tell you how much he helped alleviate all of that stress. I'm happy to say that he finished before the holidays (just like he said) and right within budget (just like he said). I'm so grateful to have found this team. In fact, one of my neighbor's has already reached out and I've referred her to him. I asked him for a bunch of business cards too for co-workers. In case you're wondering, he doesn't just work on insurance claims. He does it all! If you have renovations needs, Top To Bottom Renovation, Inc is the best! After our home suffered water damage on multiple levels, Top to Bottom Renovation performed repairs from drywall, carpet, hardwood flooring installation, bathroom tile, vanity installations. Fred handled all the paperwork dealing with our insurance company; taking the guess work out of it for us and making this stressful process so much more comfortable and tolerable for our family. The Top to Bottom team were always professional, punctual, considerate; answered all our questions, gave us options; kept our home as tidy and livable as they could during the whole project. Never arrived or called to say they were unable to come. As a realtor, this made me look bad in front of my clients. They could at least call if they’re too busy to come as scheduled so people don’t waste hours of their day waiting at a vacant house for the contractor to arrive. There was also no way to call the company and speak to a representative.

Company did not return my phone calls or follow up via email. Therefore no work was scheduled or performed.

Mr. Johnson was the first contractor to visit my home immediately after my home was impacted by major flooding on all three levels. I was immediately impressed by his honesty and guarantee of fast and reliable service. Fred and his team did an OUTSTANDING job - the scope of work performed was in line with the company's slogan : "Top to Bottom Renovation". The quote I received was well below other offers and included additional services that other contractors were not able to perform. The estimate was thorough and Fred was mindful of our deadlines to have our rental property relisted on the market. During the estimate process, Fred and his team added value to our planned ideas and made many tweaks to save money and enhance our layout. It was very obvious that Fred has expertise in performing major renovations. Fred also paid attention to detail on small tasks that we added to the project such as replacing light fixtures etc.; he performed these services way cheaper than any other contractor would have. They quickly and cleanly gutted the entire unit after the prior tenant left many loose articles behind. They efficiently removed all major fixtures (cabinets, flooring etc) and disposed of these items appropriately. Installation of all the flooring, kitchen cabinets and backsplash, painting, and removal of a kitchen wall to open up the layout, framed an new french door, added brand new shut off valves for our unit, and it all turned out beautifully. Lastly, Fred and his team communicated well throughout the job - there were no surprises and the job came in on time and at cost. Fred was proactive dealing with our HOA on a few odd issues and navigated the additional layer of protocols perfectly.

During those repairs a wind storm danged my roof as well requiring a full replacement The team at Top to Bottom made the process easy and they were very efficient. The repairs were done to my specifications and upgrades were also made, not only making for a more modern home, but increasing the value. Their staff is very friendly and I have since used this company for unrelated upgrades which I am very happy with. I will be hiring again once I have plans together for further upgrades!

Hello Everyone, I wanted to share my experiences with J & S Painting Contractors and Home Improvement with everyone. I have to say that Mr. Johnson and his crew were professional and timely. They worked hard to ensure that my house looked the way that I envisioned it. In fact, Mr. Johnson went above and beyond what was specified on my scope of work. The renovations were completed on time which was a plus for me. I think the best part was that Mr. Johnson did not wait to receive the final payment from my insurance company before he completed the work. I give J & S Painting Contractors and Home Improvement an “A+” rating!

The work was Outstanding, the crews was always on time,and professional. Mr. Johnson was very understanding when it can to working with him and my mortgage company. I could not have made a better choice to have my house restored with the new siding and new roof. When the guys was replacing the siding they also did the reconnection for the electrical work as well. After the insurance claim work was completed I also hired J&S Painting to paint the outside trim on my house. Now I have a complete new house on the outside. It was Great working with J&S and the OUTSTANDING work performed!

My family recently experienced a horrible ordeal when we returned from a Safari trip in Kenya in January. On opening our front door we realized that our home had been hit hard by water damage caused by a frozen pipe in the Master bathroom with water gushing and damaging everywhere including the entire basement. Only 2 upper bedrooms and the kitchen area were spared the onslaught. After the initial shock, we took heart and thought it would be a simple matter of contacting our Insurance Company, getting a restoration contractor and all will be back to normal. Little did we know at the time that it was going to turn out to be anything but simple! Well Into the 3rd month of the incidence we were still searching for a contractor who would be willing to accept the miserly estimates approved by our insurance company. After some intensive on-line research, by a stroke of good fortune, I came across J&S Contracting on Angie’s list and called them on a Saturday. I spoke to a gentleman who promised to call me back and I thought: oh well there goes another one. To my pleasant surprise, a few minutes later I did get a call back from the owner, Mr. Fred Johnson. I explained my situation to Mr. Johnson who listened intently and expressed his concern. He also agreed to stop by the very next day, Sunday, for an inspection of the damage. During our discussion that Sunday, I was so impressed at Mr. Johnson’s competence and professionalism, his calm reassuring knowledge about what needs to be done and how to go about doing it, that I signed him up as my contractor that same week. This turned out to be the best decision I have ever made in such circumstances. Mr. Johnson delivered on every promise he made and worked relentlessly with the insurance company to ensure that his supplements were approved. J&S Contracting are true professionals. They worked on carpeting, hardwood floors, baseboard trimmings, electricals, plumbing, drywall, and painting-the whole nine yards with impressive efficiency. In less than 2 months after they started work in earnest, the job was about 95% complete. The only delays were attributed to orders that were not delivered by the suppliers on time. Notwithstanding, we had a fully functional house by the end of the 3rd month and after our Mortgage Company’s inspection we were at 100%, and we were able to move back in. It is notable that Mr. Johnson not only restored our home to its former glory but also exceeded our expectations. We moved into a more beautiful home than we had previously and it was evident that he had purchased the best and upgraded materials for the restoration work. What was even more consoling was the fact that Mr. Johnson’s crew always left an area spotlessly clean after they’ve finished work for the day. They handled our belongings with care and nothing was broken, scratched or missing. Equally commendable was Mr. Johnson’s friendly and helpful demeanor as well as his promptness in responding promptly to every call, text or email. To prospective clients, I warmly recommend J&S Painting and contracting. They might be a small firm for now, but have no doubts, they are on a strong growth trajectory. As far as I’m concerned, they are the best in the industry for their great customer handling, their ability to deliver within scope and time. Very prompt response, Fred came by the same day that I called him. He immediately started the repairs the very next week. He and all of his employees were very professional and worked with my insurance company to get everything done! I will definitely use them in the future.
