Very well. The technician arrived on time and completed the work with time left over. He asked for more to do and he put light bulbs in basement fixtures. There was still time but I couldn't think of anything. Next time I will have a list.

I paid for three hours of handyman service. My appointment was supposed to be at 3:00 pm, but the handyman finished a prior engagement early so he called to ask if he could arrive at my home at an earlier time. I agreed so he arrived at 1:30 pm and performed all required tasks before 4:00 pm.

The contractor arrived on time and got right to work. He fixed everything that I requested and more. He analyzed the issues and came up with solutions. He was professional, polite, and the price for the work was a bargain (8 hours of handyman services for $369). I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for handyman services.

I am so happy with the service I received. From the start, setting up the appointment was simple. JA was polite and courteous. He listened to what I wanted and offered valuable advice and consultation. I didn't have the proper equipment to hang the heavy mirror securely, but he had everything I needed with him. He came very well prepared and I am very grateful. He took great care with handling all of my heavy and fragile pieces, measuring carefully before hanging anything and exercised great patience with me as I changed my mind about this or that. I didn't feel rushed and I felt very safe having him in my home. Which was very important to me. I will be hiring JA Renovations for some bigger home improvement projects, including stacking my washer/dryer and renovating my laundry room and finishing a room in the basement to create a guest room. He is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and has very competitive rates! I highly recommend this company!

We needed help with several projects around our home so we purchased the 8-hour package to have Mr. Jario Aquilar of JA Renovations & Home Improvement take care of the projects for us. We wanted to have a gate constructed at the top of the deck stairs and a few other things. When he arrived, right on time, we went over the plans for the gate and also reviewed other things we wanted to have done inside and outside our home. Jairo was very pleasant and professional, he was very thorough and finished the job as promised plus took care of a couple task that came up at the last minute, he even took care of hanging a piece of artwork that we had been unable to hang. He did a great job; the deck gate is in place and looks great. In addition to the gate, he also worked on the deck stairs that were in need of some attention. The parts he replaced make the stairs feel very strong and sound. The door from our kitchen to the pantry needed to be repaired because it had started to come loose from the door frame. Mr. Jario Aquilar of JA Renovations & Home Improvement has proven to be a valuable source of knowledge and skill for taking care of many tasks around the house. We strongly recommend that if someone has work to be done that they contact him for his Handyman services. Of course, we will not hesitate to call on him whenever we have the need of Handyman services.

Jairo reviewed our list of requests beforehand and let us know what we should have ready for him, what he'd have with him, and what he could purchase on that day if we weren't able to get the items. He came in and prioritized everything based on timing (like the hole in the wall would need several coats of dry wall and time to dry between each coat, so that was first and he could return to it throughout the day). He provided quality craftsmanship in completing every single thing on our list. For lunch, he went to Home Depot to purchase the items that we had not. He explained and demonstrated how new items (ceiling fan remote, curtain rod release) worked. He listened as I explained other projects we may need in the future and he detailed the processes and time frames he'd recommend for those projects. He offered to take away the tall closet doors and other materials. Jairo was very pleasant and professional. We will be certain to work with him for our future home improvement needs and highly recommend his services.

Everything went great! Jairo arrived on time, we discussed all the projects I needed completed, and he immediately got to work, checking everything off our list. I needed to replace t broken drain pipe in the bathroom sink, so Jairo moved on to the next task while I ran to the store to make best use of the time purchased. The Handyman deal saved us alot of money! Its great to have all those items completed and checked off the "to-do list" in one day.

Everything went well. Even for jobs as simple as caulking previous handymen I have used from Angie's List did a subpar job so I was pleasantly surprised this time! This gentleman was prompt, didn't waste my time, and was genuinely eager to complete the job and even offered further services when finishing the job prior to the allotted time. Everything was completed to the highest standard and the worksite cleaned afterward. Would recommend them.

Jairo Agular did a FANTASTIC job! I couldn't have expected better. We ran into some problems caused by the existing construction of the wall but Jairo was so creative with a work around, the finished job looked great. He is very skilled. I love his work.

I felt like he was working slow so that I had to purchase more time in addition to the 8 hours I had originally purchased. I provided a list of things to be done by them, and it did not seem like it would take much time, but I ended up having to pay for extra time in order for them to finish the service. When they installed the new thermostat, it did not work, but they said they would come back and re-install the old one. I ended up having to pay for an additional 5 hours in total, and there are things on my list that are still not completed.

I think this provider is overwhelmed by the response it is receiving from Angie's list. Their availability is very limited if you needed work done immediately. You should plan at least a week in a half to two weeks out. When we finally scheduled the appointment they went to the wrong address. They used my billing address which is different from the property address. I'm still not clear how that happened. They never confirmed the address and it never showed on my end when I made the deal purchase. I was annoyed because I drove to DC from Alexandria VA to meet them at the house and their response was essentially it is your fault! They emailed me some jpeg showing the billing address. After the address confusion, I felt like I was bothering them for purchasing the big deal. In the end, I had a kid from across the street complete the work. which was only paint and stain my front door, mulch the front lawn and repair a chipped front step. I asked for a refund and they told me I have to request it from Angie's List. I hope I get it without too much opposition from them. I will not attempt to use them again.

He was very friendly and accommodating. He stayed late to make sure he completed everything on my list. I intend to use his services again.
