It was not an good experience. I had sent them over to someone, as I had purchased this as an gift for someone. He got there and did not inform them that they needed to have the materials on hand. He wanted to charge them for going to Home Depot. Not a good experience. They did not even finish the things on the sheet, and what they did took over three hours to complete. I also could not get them to come over for an while, so I cancelled the other appointment with them, for the experience with this.

This went very well and I have more work to get done and already told Jario I will buy an 8 hour coupon in the next couple of days. I knew the work I needed to get done might exceed the 4 hours but I wanted to start out with a smaller cost and see how things go. He called ahead of time and we agreed it was more efficient for him to bring a partner and provide 2 hours of labor each. I did not have all the materials for the work he had his partner drive me in his truck for $10 to Home Depot to buy all the materials needed which I paid for and I have the unused balance in the house for additional work. He also gave me some vent exhaust piping he had in his truck which we needed and I paid exactly the cost I found on the Home Depot website so that was really fair of him. Finally they needed more time to finish and I just paid an extra hour at the same labor rate as the coupon.

They did any excellent job and they cleaned up their mess at the end of the day.

It went great. The gentleman came in and after a short job brief he went straight to work. He was cautious not to damage the product in anyway. He even took my old stand away.

This is the tough part. I communicated with the scheduler about trying to have someone come this Sunday. I was told he didn't have anyone available. All his availabilities were during the week. I finally settled on a day in November with him. On Sunday, I got a call at 8 a.m. saying that the worker was outside my house and ready to come in - and was not prepared, not even dressed. What happened to not being available on Sunday? The work the young man performed was great. I just wish I'd had more notice.

Did a good job with a bunch of bookshelves and table assembly.

Supplies were coordinated beforehand through pictures and phone calls so that the repairs could start as soon as the handyman showed up. Work looks good and seems to be holding up.

The dryer proved to be extremely easy to fix. The breaker had partially tripped, so it just needed to be reset. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to fix or troubleshoot the ice maker and suggested we contact the manufacturer. My quality rating is mainly due to the TV mounting. I'd bought a brand-new mount, which he opened up and began installing on the wall. I ran out to get a wire concealment kit while he was working this. After he'd gotten the brackets on the wall and TV, my husband assisted with lifting the TV on to the mount, only to find the brackets on the TV were too wide to fit on the mount. This ended up being a blessing in disguise! We boxed up the mount and I purchased one that fit the TV brackets. Upon going to mount it to the wall, I found that he'd drilled the holes directly into the drywall, not into the studs. I'm sure our 50 in TV would have come crashing to the floor if he had been successful in mounting it.

It was good. He did the work I needed done, and was very professional and quick. He left the area completely clean before he left.

Excellent. The contractor was extremely prompt, knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. JA Renovations showed great customer service and efficiency in completing several tasks in the allotted time. I would call on them without hesitation for future needs.

I was clear and very specific about the work required through emails. There was a misunderstanding about our appointment date and they were a no show. But they gave me the earliest appointment which was the next day. Johnattan arrive on time and started work immidiately. He removed the hardware on the walls from the wire shelves and repaired the drywall. He painted and started moving organizers into place. He consulted me throughout ensuring I was happy with the progress and was aware if my design did not work or if any materials were missing. When I pointed out some of the repaired drywall holes looked not quite smooth, he re-did them. He listened to my concerns about the strength of the rod and shelves. He was courteous and efficient. I would definitely work with them again, even with the confusion about the appointment.

The service person worked efficiently and called out for another task as he completed work. Usually, when paying by the hour, handymen try to run out the clock. Not this guy. He was ready and willing to do all that he could during the time allotted. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

The work that was done was excellent. Wanted all rotten wood on dormers replaced and not sure why that was not done, but I plan to get that done by this company shortly.

I purchased the 6 hour coupon to do some repairs in my tenant's apartment. They contacted me by e-mail and provided a date but were very flexible about changing to a more convenient date when I called and requested a change. Franco was extremely punctual, getting there a few minutes. He was polite and friendly and worked very quickly.His attitude was great. My tenant is not the friendliest and the home is not the most well kept. This did not faze Franco who got in there and went right to work without batting an eye. I got the supplies but still needed to get a few more things and he accompanied me to Home Depot to get the needed supplies, giving advice on what to get. We didn't get finish all the things that needed to be done, so I look forward to working with JA Renovations again soon. I cannot recommend this company enough and this was such a pleasant experience.

Jairo was excellent. He got a ton of work done in an efficient manner and did everything with good craftsmanship. Overall, it was a fantastic experience because he was able to get so much done and I only had to hire one person, which saved the headache of multiple contractors. He also did all of this at a flat rate, so I knew exactly my cost and there were no games involved. He used a few of his own materials and did not charge me anything. I highly recommend Jairo and am already planning on hiring him again!

Handyman arrived on time and he was very knowledgeable. I will definitely hire this company again to do more projects for us.

I had purchased the $149 Big Deal for 3 hours of handyman service. Mr. Aguilar contacted me right away and we set the date. He arrived on time. I wasn’t sure the storm door installation was possible because there wasn’t any exposed area on the left to attach the door frame since the vinyl siding went on. After looking at the door he wasn’t sure it could be done so I showed him my alternate project of installing molding around my attic ladder door. I had purchased the storm door at Home Depot the night before and so we opened the box to see what the frame looked like. It turned out it was not the door on the box and it was smaller than the one on the box. Mr. Aguilar agreed to help me take it back to Home Depot and get the right door and pick up the molding materials at the same time. He decided that if he removed the caulk for the siding on the left side of the door he could insert the door frame into the opening. He got the door installed within the three hour window and then installed the molding on the attic door. I paid an extra $65 for his time and materials. Mr. Aguilar did a great job and was very pleasant. I highly recommend him!

Prompt, great communicator, workmanship was of a 10 year old. Worked very slowly as well.

Punctual, professional, accommodating, however 5 holes were drilled in a spot requiring 2 holes. Took really long to complete small quick task's.
