I previously used this vendor and tried to support this minority owned busy through all of the late arrivals and sloppy work and rework but this last incident was the straw that broke the camels back. Not only was Geraldine Howard late (again) for the appointment she needed to use my equipment and supplies to clean my home. My father was at the home when she arrived and because she was unprepared he asked if some sort of discount would be applied. She stated very rudely "No." So my father phoned me to check my ETA home so that I could address the issues. In the interim, her staff (who did more talking on their cell phones than cleaning) began half-way cleaning the kitchen when my father witnessed Geraldine whispering to the two staffers and then watched them tip toe out the front door without saying a word. As I was pulling into the development Geraldine was pulling out. I phoned her to inquire about what transpired and asked where she was going. Geraldine stated that she was going to purchase a vacuum cleaner and would return. But of course hours passed and she, in fact, DID NOT return. After not hearing from Geraldine, I called again to inquire on her status only for her not to answer and then later text me to say she would not be returning. That was the most cowardly and unprofessional stunt I have ever experienced from a contractor. I would NOT recommend this cleaning vendor to anyone even if someone paid me to! I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU PROCURE CLEANING SERVICES FROM ANOTHER VENDOR.

I initially started using Geraldine Howard as a referral from a family friend. My initial meeting was positive and I thought that I had finally found a dependable, professional and adequate cleaning service. HUGE MISTAKE! My first cleaning was OK and I gave her company the benefit of the doubt as sometimes the vendor has to learn the client. Whether it's an initial cleaning or a repeat cleaning the staff needs to be knowledgeable on how to properly clean. For example, you DO NOT wipe around appliances or items on the counter. You relocate them temporarily so that you can clean the entire counter and then you place then back in their space. You clean the baseboards, lighting fixtures, window seals and the entire cabinet face not 1/2 or 3/4 of the cabinet because you can't reach the remaining portion. You use a step ladder or stool so that you can clean the ENTIRE cabinet. It is also expected that if you are going to arrive late to the client's home that you would call ahead and inform the client. These were issues that needed to be addressed on several occasions. Out of the several times that I've utilized All-Wayz Clean Geraldine has been on time maybe twice. The times she was late she either didn't call ahead to inform me or she called an hour or more after the scheduled start time to state that she's going to be late and one of those instances resulting in her staff not coming at all after I waited two hours for her arrival. Not only was this unprofessional but disruptive to my schedule as I had to cancel another appointment and make other temporary arrangements for family coming into town due to her tardiness. I have a very demanding schedule and I travel a lot for work. Due to my schedule I don't get to utilize cleaning services as often as I would like. I have a new home that is not yet fully furnished so there really isn't any major work to do. Even after more cons than pros I tried to support Geraldine and her business yet again...ANOTHER HUGE MISTAKE! On June 30th, I was scheduled for a 1:00 pm cleaning appointment. Yet again Geraldine was late and DID NOT bother to call or text to inform me that she would be delayed. I needed to complete an errand by 2:00 pm so I had my father adjust his schedule in order to let them in. She finally showed up at 1:40 pm unapologetic. Her team proceeds to start cleaning (or half way cleaning) and asks my father for a dry dust mop for the hardwood floors. Then after putting down carpet deodorizer she asks for a vacuum. My father proceeded to ask her since she had no come prepared with the required tools needed to clean would there be some sort of compensation offered. Geraldine stated no and that she needed the vacuum because her vacuum was broken. My first thought would have been since you were already late why wouldn't you stop and purchase another vacuum or obtain one through other means if you have scheduled a client for cleaning services. I arrived home at 2:00 pm and was informed that Geraldine made a comment to her staff, said nothing to my father and they all snuck out of my house. I immediately called Geraldine (at 2:21 pm) to inquire as to why she left without contacting me or completing the work. She stated that she was going to get a vacuum. I asked Geraldine did she plan on returning to finish the job and she stated yes. What I didn't understand was if she had planned to return why did it require all three of your staff member to go purchase a vacuum. At that point, I knew she had not planned to return. Geraldine then sends me a text at 4:22 pm which stated that she would not be returning as she did not like the way she was treated. If that was the case, why wasn't there a face-to-face conversation between Geraldine and me as the client? That would have been the adult professional thing to do. I responded to her text stating that the sneaking out of my home without saying anything, telling me a lie about returning after purchasing a vacuum, arriving late without an ounce of consideration to at least inform me that she would be late, and arriving without adequate cleaning tools and supplies was totally inconsiderate and unprofessional. Geraldine needs to take a step back and reflect on her actions, character and business ethics and practices. Whether someone is a steady client or an occasional client they should be treated with the same level of consideration and respect and that's as a paying client!
