Mr. Simmons and his workers was very knowledgeable in regards to services I hired him for. He suggested the best products and solution. I am very happy with the outcome. My ceiling fan is just what I needed. Plumbing is now working better then ever.

An otherwise competent door installer ruined our old burglar alarm system to the point it could no longer be turned on and off. It remained on as he worked and the outside alarm silenced temporarily by wedging a matchbook cover in the space which controlled the on-off switch. This was a perilous situation since when the cover would inevitably break, an emergency situation of a loud outside alarm would disturb neighbors and bring the police to the scene. We phoned the original alarm installer but it had gone out of business. About half a dozen alarm installers said they would not come out or would only come days later. So we called electricians and tried to find one who could disable the alarm system on an emergency basis. Only one, Greg Simmons who runs A1 - Simco Electric, grasped the seriousness of the situation and came to our house about 8 pm. He figured out the complex old system and managed to disable all parts of it which could set off the siren endlessly in the middle of the night. We were greatly relieved and extremely grateful. Greg promised to appear the next day and remove the old system entirely, including the outside siren. He did that thoroughly and also fixed a bunch of bad sockets and exposed wires which could have posed fire risks. Throughout the whole process he remained calm, reassuring, and professional. This high level of technical emergency service is only seen rarely these days and speaks well for the future of this local company. We very highly recommend A1 - Simco Electric.
