They were generally prompt and I thought that they did good work when they were here. We asked them for a price on another piece of work and they were very pricey.

Workers were on time and courteous. The quality of the roof work was good but the quality of the gutters was so-so.

Everything has gone pretty much as it was described to me up front. The schedule was a little delayed because of a shortage of panels from the manufacturer, but I was kept up-to-date on the status throughout the process. The Maggio crew was very efficient and professional with the roofing and solar work, and kept me informed about what was happening (if you get to work with him, Antonio is great!) They were flexible in installing a 3rd-party skylight I wanted, and responsive when I had an issue with it (freezing rain blocking the drain holes on a vented skylight). Maggio navigated the permit and DC solar rebate process for us, and really seemed to expedite the process. Our end costs after rebates and tax credits was less than half of the total system cost. And then ongoing SREC payments will help defray costs as well. We're happy to not have to worry about leaks anymore and our electric bills have dropped to about 1/3 of what they were.. we've been net negative on our energy use a few weeks now as the summer days get longer.

Maggio came out and gave me a very reasonable and thorough quote for replacing the gutter. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and as promised. I had previously used them to seal the standing seam metal roof on my house and the experience was the same, I highly recommend them.

Very professional. We received detail report before and after and a detailed estimate. They pulled the appropriate permits in no time and all work was completed as per the contract. I would use them again.

The estimator, and I regret that I forgot his name, was on time and prepared a volume of estimate for a relatively small job. He took his time to explain everything. The workers were on time and worked fast. Since it is so long ago I can't recall exactly how long it took but somewhere around 2-3 days. Later on I needed some adjustment and called Maggio Roofing who came out promptly to fix the item. They did forget to let me know that they were coming and I was under the impression for a while that they simply ignored my request until I called again when I was informed that they came to fix the issue. Overall this company performed very good work but compared to other estimates they were very expensive. I selected them anyway as I was going by " you get what you pay for". I can definitely recommend Maggio Roofing even so several years have past but I would negotiate the price better.

I was pretty well satisfied with them. They replaced the skylight. We had a problem with getting one of the leaks completely stopped, so they came back and continued to work on it; I assume it has stopped now. They had to come back many times to do the work, and it took several months. They were good about coming back and doing the work. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

What stood out is that, the person with whom I was working; his name is Blake, is the most responsive person that I have ever worked with in construction. At times there were couple of things that I wanted to do differently. I called him up and he immediately took care of it. We never had any disputes over the contract. They delivered what exactly they said they would deliver. I was very happy with them. On pricing I did not get necessarily competitive prices. After chatting with them and after chatting with a couple of different companies, I decided to work with them because it was covered by insurance. So all of them would take whatever the insurance paid. If the need rises I would use them in the future.

I don't know if they did a good or bad job, but they were certainly professional about showing up. Nothing fell down! They were professional with their interactions. The estimator seemed to know what he was doing. The price was good.

They are very responsive, they are extremely knowledgeable, and they have great follow-up. The work that they have done so far is excellent. Their cleanup is great; you can?t even tell they were there. We got some higher estimates and some lower estimates but I think they have an appropriate price for what they are doing.

Went moderately well. Too expensive!! I thought Maggio's was putting new copper gutters on all of the house. They did not. Apparently I misunderstood the representative.

I called multiple times and was referred to the same person's voicemail each time. When I missed her callback to schedule service, I left her a message (again the voicemail) to contact me by e-mail, thinking it would be easier for her. (I don't know her position in the company). She sent me a contract to sign, which I e-mailed back to their offices, agreeing to have gutter cleaning about a week later (the 15th). I noticed in the afternoon that nobody had done the work. I called the office, and again got a receptionist who took a message for the lady who "takes care of that", who was on the phone, I was told. I asked for a prompt call-back. I received neither a call back nor an e- mail until mid morning today, when a message was left stating she was sorry, but that the technician had called me and I didn't answer. (Not true, because there were no unknown missed calls on any of my phones.) Getting them to call me back was difficult. Because after all of that, they didn't show up or call, I will not use their roofing or gutter services again. I had only tried so hard to use their services because I felt that the roofers knew their job and did a good job. It's a pity that the office is so poorly run.

I thought very well. The workers were professional, prompt and courteous. They also did a very good job cleaning up the mess from the old roof. I'm very happy with the service. It certainly wasn't the cheapest of the bids we looked into, but why would anyone go for the cheapest roof is beyond me. Very happy so far with the purchase.

They were professional. It was fine, they came and looked at the roof, and then gave us the estimate, which was kind of like a sales pitch. He did a whole thing with a binder and educated us about stuff that we didn't want to be too educated about. I was not really looking for that, and it turned out that they use a special kind of material. It was informative, but I didn't end up going with them. It may have been fine, but I was after a more traditional roof. They could be useful for some people. They were very responsive and did what they said they would do. They were punctual and professional. I would not use them in the future because their product was not what I wanted.

Overall I was very dissatisfied. The gentleman who came out to talk to me was very lackadaisical. I hired them to do the work and when it was done, I wanted to go up and look at the job after it was completed. They never returned my call about that. I discovered years later from another expert that there were areas they had never touched. The gutters were not put up properly and will not drain as a result. I would never use them again.

Didn't use company because of poor initial interaction and sophomoric followup.

Mr. Maggio is extremely thorough and he quickly provided the estimate along with a proposal outlining the specific steps that they would take to complete the job. I was impressed by his knowledge and promptness.

He was pretty good at coming out and giving me the estimate. They were very pricey, so I didn?t use them. It wasn?t within my budget. I also found reviews on the internet saying that they were pricey and didn?t do a very good job.

It went well. I thought they were expensive, but would use them again. My house is a historic building and the DC office of historic regulation thought they were expensive, too.

They were very knowledgeable and professional. They took a while to get back to me.

We got three estimates for this roof. Maggio's was the lowest (although all three were very close) and gave the most information in terms of the work that would be done on our garage and their methods more generally. The crew showed up on time on the day the work was scheduled. The shingles on this roof should have been replaced years ago and it was very wet and leaking badly after all of the summer storms we've had this year. Once the shingles were off it became clear the the wood decking underneath the shingles was too wet to hold any nails, and was rotting in places. The crew leader quickly worked up an estimate to replace the wood decking, fetched the materials they would need, and finished the job with only a minor delay to complete the extra work. The crew cleaned up the site carefully and the roof looks great! No major rains yet but I assume that it's watertight as well.

They were very responsive at that point.

They were prompt and professional. The estimate was high though, that was the only reason I didn't go with them.

The work didn't require entry to the house so they came one day while we were at work. They were in and out quick and it took me a day or two to even notice the work had been done. Everything looks like it has been repaired well. This probably wasn't a huge job, but Maggio was efficient and courteous nonetheless. I would use them again for our slate roof.
