 + 4 moreHector and is crew were professional, punctual, and responsive. They did a good job on my basement. There were a few minor things that came up but nothing that wasn't taken care of to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: I had our basement remodeled. I had new carpet, linoleum, and lights installed in the basement. I also had walls, ceilings, and new pipes installed. The company fixed some existing pipes and did some painting.

 + 4 moreHe redid out basement and did a great job. He is really great to work with. If there is anything he gets too nice and generous. He really wants to make sure that all the details are taken care of. I actually told him that I was happy with the work he did but he needs to make sure that he makes profit too. They finished the work and everything was wonderful. They were very flexible that we bought the carpets our self and had it delivered. They went to home depot with Hector and bought things from there. The design options they gave were good. I had never even thought about all that. They are not great on project management and we had to keep negotiating in-between. Sometimes I felt the estimates were way too low and sometimes they were very high. I could not see how he was making the estimates. On the whole the price we paid was much lower than it would have been with any other contractor but sometimes I felt it was high. I did not know where the numbers were coming from.
Description of Work: We used Hector Mejia to do our basement during December. They finished the work for Christmas Eve. They repaired three walls, build a new wall, created a larger room out of an existing hallway, redid a closet, and repaired a bunch of holes in the ceiling. They redid all the electrical work in the ceiling. They replaced all the junk boxes and made sure the wires went fine. When all the work was done everything was good. They went through each and every circuit. They rewired the circuits. They also redid some pipes. They also added a radiator. They painted our bathroom, put new tiles, and sink also. They did a lot of work.
