Gas Galore

Gas Galore is a professional business that helped us select the right gas fireplace for our home and also did a super-efficient job on the installation. Warren Blake insured that all systems were functioning properly and demonstrated the use of the remote making sure we understood how the fireplace worked.

Warren Blake is an outstanding, honest professional. He responded promptly to my request for an estimate for installing gas logs in my fireplace. Looking at the job, he strongly recommended a chimney inspection by a reputable company and recommended Aragon Chimney Services (also highly rated on Angie's List). It turns out that my chimney urgently needs extensive repairs. The cost of those repairs means that I need to defer the gas logs. Warren could have simply installed the gas logs but put safety ahead of his personal profit. When I can afford to do the gas logs, I will call Warren because I know that I can trust him.

It went well overall. There were some delays compared to the initial estimate, and there was some cost growth in the end. But the work was done on a 60 year old house, so it was not totally unexpected that some surprises might come up.

Warren came to my house and gave me a free estimate on the job. He took the time to explain how the inserts work, the best option for my home and recommended several brands that he carries. I liked that he has an extensive background in plumbing and gas. The job came in at cost. Virgil, his installer was punctual, clean and friendly. Suburban Chimney, the company that installed the chimney liners were rated highly on angies list, too. Just the fact that my dog, a very discriminating animal, took to Warren and Virgil and Tony, added to my positive feeling about going with Gas Galore. I anticipate future plumbing jobs going their way.
