Dr Glass Window Washing

Dr. Glass's representative called and emailed reminders to me. The workers arrived and very quickly and professionally moved all the furniture and plants from in front of the windows. They carefully removed all the screens and cleaned them. The windows were washed inside and out and the screens replaced. The workers were efficient and did not damage anything or leave any traces of their presence except for sparkling clean windows. The supervisor asked me to check their work prior to giving me the invoice.

Great - the windows look fabulous. The workers arrived on time and work was performed well and exactly as agreed over the phone.

From start to finish, excellent. Wayne fit me in last minute, but gentlemen still remained within estimated time frame. They asked what was to be done, and they did it professionally and with purpose.

Dr. Glass is a franchise operation, so my comments are limited to the Silver Spring location run by Wayne Gurley. He came to the house when scheduled, gave the quote, and scheduled the appointment. The workers which came were from another companty, but they were performing under the Dr. Glass "banner." If all Dr. Glass locations perform the work the way William Hawthorn, and his aid, did at my house, they should be proud! One caveat: when you pay, insure you get the $30 discount for being a member of Angie's List!.

They always do a great job. They also did power washing did for me this year, and was happy with that.

The May 27 service was outstanding. Fred is really great - very polite and respectful of my things as well as very thorough. I should mention however that I had a Saturday appointment with a different fellow scheduled to do the work. He didn't show up and didn't call. When I tried to reach the company no one took the call and no one returned my call. I had to track them down and reschedule. So, if you work with this company, ask for Fred.

The actual price was less than the estimate given over the phone. The crew arrived early and worked on Saturday. They were very professional and neat. The windows look fantastic.

The whole experience was excellent from the first call to schedule. They came within one week calling twice to confirm and on the scheduled day called to say they were stuck in traffic even tho they were still on time. They were efficient, courteous, tidy, quiet and did a fabulous job.

They were exceptional. They gave me a bid by email based on incorrect information that I had given them. I had told them that I had storm windows, and I didn?t. When the folks came to do the work, and they saw that I had given them the wrong information, they adjusted the price downward to meet what it should have been, had I given the right information. Two technicians came perfectly on time and were very respectful and fastidious in their work. Since there was a lot of glass to work with, they were coming in and going out a lot. They put on special coverings on their shoes when they came inside to do the work. Window washing is a tough job, and they worked very hard. They were very careful with all the parts of the windows. They were very thorough and their price was very fair. I would rate them highly and would definitely use them again.

They did a really good job, but they were very expensive. They were very polite and very respectful of keeping everything clean. They took their shoes off every time they came in the house. They did a good job of putting everything back where it belonged.

Fred Nguyen called to say he'd be a little late due to traffic. That was appreciated, especially since he wasn't really late according to the timeframe I was given. He was very careful about moving furniture and objects in order to get to the window. He really scrubbed the glass and brushed each of the screens to remove dust and dirt. He really did a great job!

Fred showed up on time, and notified me of his arrival. After I pointed out which windows I wanted cleaned, he brought in his cleaning equipment, and made sure that the ladders were prepared so they would not harm my wood floors or my walls. Fred was very careful carrying his ladders, and did a good job cleaning my windows. I was very pleased by the job performance and the professionalism.

They did a good job and the price was very reasonable. However, they told us that they would be there at noon and arrived at 6 p.m. For the amount of work that I had done though, I really liked the price. I might use them again in the future.

These guys did a great job. They were timely, responsive, courteous and fast. They answered the phone when I called to get information about doing the work (I talked with Wayne), readily gave an estimate over the phone which was accurate and ended up being what I paid, and made an appointment right away at my convenience. They were very clean, took their shoes off inside, were careful of the walls and furniture inside, and were careful of trees and shrubs and siding outside. They did a great job, even explaining some of the window features I wasn't aware of.

They were very professional when they were there. They cleaned the windows on the doors too and didn't add that into the price of everything. They did a very good job.

It was excellent because first of all they were very careful, polite, on time, and didn't stop working until the job was done. I have used them before. I asked for the young man that had come the first time and he was able to come again.

Gave me an estimate of $442 after an on-site visit. When the worker showed to do the work two weeks later, he insisted to do a re-reestimate and then asked for $900 instead.
