Dr Glass Window Washing

Overall the job was done very well.

They were on time, meticulous, careful and thorough.

I was a first time user and when the window washing was completed I only am asking myself what took me so long. Daniel was courteous, listened to my concerns and took pride in his work. It took him 3 days to finish but the finished product looks great. I assumed a team would be sent but did not say anything when I scheduled. I spoke with the Sales Manager, Wayne Gurley after the first day and he assured me that now we are in your data base and understand the size of the job a team would be sent next year. Sometimes finding a professional company that listens, addresses concerns and does quality work is not easy. Dr. Glass is that kind of company.

I bought an Angie's List deal and I don't remember the price, so I can't say anything about price. The service was great, though. They came early; they were friendly and professional; they did a great job; and they worked fast. My daughter was at home with me, and they were very nice to her. I can't believe what a difference it makes to have clean windows!

Luis and his worker did an excellent job, took great care with furnishings, knicknacks, antiques inside the house and in front of the windows. Outside, I have extensive plantings including fragile tree peony bushes. I pointed them out, and Luis and his employee listened and were exceedingly careful. High on the second floor, one of the bedrooms has an unusual large glassed-in extension. Luis and his worker were very skillful, careful and managed to clean these windows despite their awkward placement and the large expanses of glass. I had Luis clean the downstairs windows last year and was so pleased, I was motivated to buy this year's Big Deal. Though I knew the fine work of Dr. Glass, I was surprised and delighted anew by the beautiful difference of sparkling windows can make. It really is a treat to have the sun pour through the cleaned windows, and to enjoy the fall leaves and color. Dr. Glass does excellent work, and I am happy to recommend this company without reservation.

Just as I mentioned above it went great! I will definitely have them back again in the spring.

We had never had professional window washers before so were nervous about the prospect of needing to move all our furniture and having a big mess in the house. The person they sent managed to do all the work himself in our 3 story house. I had feared a team of people swarming all over the place. The man who came here quietly went about his business. He was thorough, quick and efficient. No fuss, no mess He cleaned up after himself as he went. For the first time in many years our windows sparkled. We will be using this company in the future once or twice a year. It was a great experience and a great result.

My initial call was returned right away and all subsequent calls and messages were answered/returned promptly. We had to reschedule our initial appointment and they were easy going and handled it with professionalism and quickly moved to find a day that would work for us. They showed up on time and were very efficient in their time at the house. We were very pleased and would use them again. We used a Big Deal coupon and it was very worth it!

Luis and his crew did an amazing job on my windows and I am happy to recommend them. My windows sparkle as never before. For particularly stained windows in a back porch (due to stationary screens), Luis used a special cleaner. He and his crew even remove their shoes when working inside your home. Luis and his crew are most professional, friendly, and know their trade well.

They were over 3 hours late. I had to call to find out why. Gave me a long story and then arrived 1 hour after the newly rescheduled time. They removed a screen to get at window for cleaning from outside. The next day, the same screen fell out of my upstairs window onto the ground. The windows were open. When I returned home I found a bird flying around inside my house! I telephoned them immediately to ask them to come back and reinstall screen. That was around 11am. They returned my call at 5:30pm, by which time I had already called in others to help me evacuate the bird and reinstall the screen. I don't think these folks are ready for prime time. Given their erratic scheduling and poor communication, my guess is they are balancing too many jobs at once for two people, or they hold other jobs competing with the window washing. The washing itself was fine, with the major exception of the screen, but the service before and after the job was not. I would not use them again.

They did an excellent job. Returned my call promptly and scheduled the cleaning for the same week. The workers were on-time, friendly, and thorough. I highly recommend.

It went beautifully. They arrived on time with a team of three. I was in the throws of having a car towed and getting the kids off to school when the team arrived. They were courteous, professional, and willing to roll with some of the chaos. They got right down to work. My windows looked like new when they were finished. It was great experience, start to finish. I wish I had asked them to do my basement windows as well. I will have them back without reservation.

Luis and his crew were very friendly and respectful. He assigned certain people to windows, door, and skylights. It was a very quick and quality job! It's amazingthe effect that a clean window or door pane can have - the house felt so open and airy! Amazing work!

Purchased as a Big Deal, but had more windows than were included. They provided a quote for the remaining windows which was very reasonable, and proved accurate. Work was done as scheduled with no problems. Very satisfied.

Very good experience. I was called the night before to confirm and asked if the could come a little bit earlier, and they arrived at the new time. I found the crew to be very pleasant and careful. They were organized as they have a system that works each knowing what the other is doing and doing next, no discussion just action. The windows were extremely soiled and every one is perfect, no streaks. I would have them back!!!!

I called and left a message that I had purchased a Great Deal coupon from Angie's List. They got back to me within 24 hours. We set a time for them to come out which happened to be the day after a big storm occurred. The crew was scheduled to be there at 8:30. When they had not shown up by 9:00 I called and was told that because of the storm they had to reschedule all the customers from the previous day. I had no problem with that but wondered when they were planning to let me know. We set another appointment, this time for an afternoon time slot. I was delayed getting back to my house from a previous appointment by about 20 minutes. When I got there, they crew was there waiting for me. The lady explained that they had finished another job early and so came to my house and started doing the outside windows. I apologized for my tardiness but she was very gracious and said not to worry about it. The two guys came inside and finished up in about 35 minutes. I was particulary impressed with how they took off their shoes before coming inside and made sure that none of their equipment was leaving water anywhere. The windows look incredible and I plan to use Dr Glass whenever I am in need of cleaning in the future.

I bought the Angie's List big deal for 15 windows for $89. I made two appointments with Luis to come out and perform the service. Both times he did not show up or call. After the first time, he didn't call to apologize or offer an explanation; I had to call him about a week later. I finally reached him and made another appointment. Again, he did not show up or call, or email me. Apparently he had me listed for the next day, which I discovered by calling the main number for Dr. Glass. The crew did finally come and provided excellent service (Luis was not in attendance). While the service they performed was good, it was a huge hassle to actually get them to come and perform it. Hence I would not use their service again.

THey arrived on the appointed date and ahead of the appointed time. THey used great products and were very neat and clean. two person team, one inside and the other outside; and very efficient.

I contacted Doc Glass for a scheduling window, and he got back to me with the 10th of Sept at 3pm, which was great. At 3:15 on the 10th, no one had arrived and I had not gotten a call from them. When I called, I got voicemail and left a message. Patricia (I think that's her name) called back within about 30 minutes to explain that there had been some kind of accident and that the Doc Glass cell phone wasn't charged. She then wanted me to agree that I would reschedule, and tried to end the call. I had pre-paid for the service on a Big Deal promotion, and was not happy with a lack of resolution, and insisted she reschedule while I was on the phone with her. We agreed on the next day at the same time; this time they showed up and did a fantastic job of cleaning all the windows. I didn't realize they clean the insides as well, and was unprepared for them to be in the house; next time, I'll be able to have the whole job done.

Angie's Big Deal purchased August 3, 2012 based on the high reputation and my personal experience with Dr. Glass in MD/Potomac when there was a Dr. Glass. I understand that now, these are franchises. I made the appt with Luis Cardy in person for September 25@ 8:30am. No show -- Later that day I received a phone message that service could not be provided due to family emergency. Several phone calls followed with conflicting messages--always excuses. Last call received Sept 27 indicating a cancellation of service and the proposal for me ask for refund. All calls were made by a female voice with a heavy and difficult to undersstand accent. Disappointing.

We found Dr. Glass highly rated onAngie's List and took advantage of a discount coupon. Dr. Glass responded quickly to my inquiry and was able to schedule a window cleaning service that same week. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job, inside and out, on all the windows and screens in our 3 level home--basement, first and second stories. The job was well done in less than 2 hours. Staff were courteous and professional. This is the first time I've had professional window cleaners. I will definitely call Dr. Glass again.

I was very pleased with the result and would use them again, and most likely will. I can recommend them as I found them very straight forward and honest and they did a great job. It was hard to make an appointment at first as we tried e-mailing and then phoning them, but in the end I was very pleased. They were worth waiting for.

The job went smoothly from start to finish. The crew was professional and courteous. The job was completed quickly and efficiently.
