Unlike other designers we had spoken with in our years-long quest to update our kitchen, Jackie listened to us carefully and translated our loosely defined vision into a kitchen plan that met our specific needs. She blended creativity, style, and practicality, helping us make decisions that enhanced both the functionality and esthetics of the kitchen. We are thrilled with the outcome. Equally important, Jackie became our friend in the process. We ended up trusting Jackie and her team completely! Unlike lots of our friends who say that they had to make compromises and still complain about parts of their remodel and certainly complain about their contractor - we wouldn't hesitate to use Jackie again and have recommended her over and over! She made the process make sense and (almost) enjoyable.

We were misled to believe there would be no problem incorporating our needs for the kitchen. We paid the over 3 thousand dollars and the three options for the project came back and all three were significantly over our agreed to maximum budget. We didn't hany any way to afford moving forward. We were told to scale back and go to IKEA or Habitat Restore to buy cabinets to install ourselves which was opposite of why we wanted a design build firm. Since we weren't able to increase the budget we were out the dollars for the plans, didn't get the plans themselves or have a project to start without even a low level desifn option to choose. We lost over three thousand dollars with nothing to show for our time or money. It was a pretty simple kitchen re-model that should not have been such a hassle without even getting started. We asked for a refund since we didn't have anything to work with and it was refused. We didn't even get our house key back!!! Bad news!
