Affordable Pressure Washing & Roofing

They did a really great job on soft washing the siding of my house and power washing my deck. They did such a great job on the deck it almost looked brand new. However, because of the rainy weather conditions, they couldn't schedule the repairs and staining until about three weeks later. The guys showed up bright and early and did a fantastic job on the repairs, which entailed replacing a few worn boards and staining the entire deck. Deck repairs and staining were all done that same day. I chose a redwood colored stain and my (30 year old) deck looks great! I will definitely use Affordable Home and Softwash Solutions again.

It went well. They did a nice job. One problem: the water shorted out our Fios CATV, internet, and phone for about an hour but it came back online. If you want to avoid this, just tell the crew not to wash around the utility service entry on the outside of the house and take care of it yourself. The crew leader said this sometimes happens.

Everything about the experience was pretty exceptional. I purchased a deal to power wash the exterior of my home and they contacted me within 24 hours to setup an appointment. The person I worked with was very friendly and patient in answering my questions and scheduling a time for them to do the work. Employees showed up on time (even a couple minutes early) and were complete professionals. They did a great job and there were no surprise additional costs; very straight forward. I would highly recommend this company and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

"Wow" is an understatement! From beginning to end: ordering, scheduling, and the diligent work of 2 professional men who completed the power washing - all of it was such a pleasant difference from other companies I'd contacted who quoted outrageous prices! And, how many companies call the day prior to "confirm" the appt? The men who performed the power washing worked so well together and they did an absolutely terrific job! My townhouse siding is clean and fresh looking (the north side had grown mildew and the back, south side was dirty. But, the best treat of all? The deck looks like a brand new deck. I am immensely impressed with the company and its staff!

I was impressed from step one. Affordable Home & Softwash responded to my quote request immediately and courteously, and clarified details about my home and the work to be done before quoting. They arranged a date for the following week, confirmed the day before, arrived on time, checked in with me and got to work. They were careful not just about my property while they washed (a previous contractor damaged my screens) but they took care not to soak my neighbors' property, too, as best possible (mine is a middle townhouse). Very happy with the results - I wasn't sure the softwash would be enough, since my siding had a lot of mold/mildew, but it's gleaming. Thank you Jasmine and Jorge!

The workers were very professional and we are very pleased with the results. Our old deck looks brand new. I would definitely hire again in the future.

My interaction with this company did not go well. First, I asked for a copy of their insurance certificate to verify same. I was told they only gave that information to commercial contractors. I do not understand why a residential customer could not get info that would verify their claim (in their advertising) they are insured----no mention of this exclusion was made in their promotional material! Secondly, one of their employees--Jasmine--said ; "But I can guarantee that we are insured and bonded." Since when does a reputable business say to take an employee's word for insurance verification?! Angie's List is always telling its subscribers to check on a contractor's insurance/licensing documentation. Last, when I said I wanted to apply the coupon in the Angie's List monthly publication, I was told my estimate already included the discount. The estimate made no reference to a discount already being applied; why do they even include a coupon in the Angie's List magazine? I was never asked if I had a coupon to apply to their estimate. Just a very bad experience with this company---not in keeping with their own advertising.

Came out to my home and spent time looking at the rooms we needed to perform work on. Left and never heard from them again. No estimate provided and went completely silent after multiple attempts at obtaining an estimate for the work. Completely unprofessional and complete waste of my time.

Both the siding and deck look great! The two guys did a really nice job on both. However, I was given an arrival/scheduled time of between 10:00 am and 12 (noon). I called around noon and was told they were running behind schedule but would be at my house by 1:00 pm. However, they called back and said the guys wouldn't be there until 3:00 pm. They finally showed up around 3:10. So, I think there could be some improvement in time scheduling. Never the less, I am waiting to get a quote on having my nice cleaned deck stained by the Affordable and Budget. So, other than better scheduling and time management, I definitely would recommend and use Affordable and Budget again.

They did an outstanding job at a fair price. It looks great. I will be hiring them again next year.

Bottom Line: Although this is the first time we have used this company, it proved to be a reputable company that can be counted on to do quality work for a very reasonable price. Scheduling: Easily scheduled the gutter cleaning through Angie's List messenger service. Company was very responsive. Communication: Good communication as company stayed in contact with me between the time I scheduled and the day of work including the day prior and 30 minutes before arrival. Quality of Work: We have a very large house with a steep cedar shake roof, so all of the work has to be done moving a ladder around the house. Gutters were thoroughly cleaned, downspouts flushed, and all debris picked up and removed. Pricing: Best deal of any highly rated Angie's List company.

washing was good but we were told the windows would be clean. however a few windows were left with spots.

Affordable Home and Softwash Solutions did a great job. They gave me a fair quote over the phone, communicated well, scheduled the job to occur within my schedule and my townhouse and sidewalk have never looked better. There was a substantial amount of mildew on the side of my end unit townhouse and it was completely removed. The employee was very careful not to damage my landscaping. I am very pleased and will definitely use them again in the future.

Affordable gave me an excellent price on washing the outside of all (over 80) the windows in my house. They were extremely responsive and helpful during the back and forth on Angie's list to set up the work. They showed up on time and completed the work exactly as described. They were very helpful in responding to follow up questions i had after the job was completed. i would certainly recommend them highly for this type of work

Jorge and assistant were very friendly and courteous. They showed up on time and did a great job. The roof looks like new. I highly recommend them.

They arrived as promised, got to work and did a wonderful job. The fence is ready to stain and has not looked this good for some time. Stain done later due to drying requirements. Outstanding for both.

I wasn't even at the house when they did the work. I had absolutely no clue they were there when I got home except the roof shimmered. I hired them to do my fathers house also.

The deck was just built in October and they came out washed and stained it. The price was affordable and the quality was good. The rain caused them to be delayed, that was not their fault that it rained.

My house is 3 stories, so they had to actually use a 40' ladder. They are still going to stain and seal the deck and 2 retaining walls as soon as it dires out. They are A on everything they do. You are the one who recommended them 2 years ago and I have used them ever since. I would use them again.
