Affordable Pressure Washing & Roofing

Affordable assured us they could meet all of our conditions of work as described above. We requested pricing - they provided the price for power washing which was lower than expected for the work we described. They assured me that the powerwash would clean exterior of gutters and siding. Workers arrived on time, were very professional. However, they did not use ladders to wash second story of house - shot the water and detergent from the ground - clearly not what we asked for. Upon inspection after they completed their work -- the gutters were not clean-black dirt streaks on most of the gutters and some trim areas. I was told if I wanted the more difficult dirt off - I would have to pay more and that the office would determine the amount. I felt this was entirely unacceptable since this pricing was not represented when I scheduled the work. After speaking with the office manager - the workers used a stronger detergent and charged me an additional $45. The second cleaning got the gutters clean but bleached out 2 of my black window shutters directly underneath the gutters. In addition I had to go back my self to clean the windows since the residue splashed on windows - the workers did not go back to clean them. Needless to say we won't be using this company again.

When they came back to do the sealant, everything was wonderful. They had to use a paintbrush. It's a pretty big addition. They were very professional and clean.

The Sales Manager, Mayor Adenigbagbe was responsive and quoted a fair price. When I got home from work, the siding and white soffit were clean.

Jorge was very courteous and efficient. He worked diligently in suffocating heat. He was clearly highly experienced with this type of work. He politely agreed to touch up a few spots that he inadvertently overlooked. The exterior is sparkling. Our walkway and basement steps were literally black with mildew.....they came out gleaming. I never expected such good results on concrete that had not been pressure washed for over 20 years! My only concern was that there was a 3% additional cost for credit card payments. I wish the Angie's list site and company web site clearly spelled that out so that customers would not be surprised.

Horrible. My neighbors walk by and ask, "What in the world happened to your deck?" "Soft" power wash left deck with fuzzy areas in the wood. Was assured that sanding would remove remaining old product as the new sealant directions emailed to Affordable clearly stated that old stain must be removed completely before new product is applied. I was told there was no need for a stripper--sanding would take care of it. Sanding did not remove all the old stain but the team proceeded to apply the new stain I purchased anyway. I left clear instructions to call me if there were any problems. No call was made. Now my deck is a two-toned mess. Owner Johnny Hernandez promised to send their most experienced guy out the next day to see what should be done to fix the mess they made. That never happened. After a week of waiting, I gave them a call and a another chance to correct the situation. Two hours on the phone with Mayor ended with a promise that owner Johnny would call the next day to discuss a solution. Again no call and no action by Affordable SoftWash to correct their lousy work. Twice they dropped the ball instead of trying to make things right. I am left with a deck that looks awful--new stain over the old semi-transparent--a two-toned mess. No communication by Affordable SoftWash, no effort on their part to reach a resolution. This is not what I expected from a company that received Angie's Super Service award for two year in a row. My results are unacceptable and ugly. Workmanship, judgement, honesty, communication and appropriate customer service are all severely lacking in this company. I don't know anyone who would pay to have their deck to look like mine does now. (Can businesses pay Angie's List to get a service award? Johnny H., one of the owners, was complaining to me about how much money he pays Angie's List each year and received a phone call from them while inspecting the terrible job done on my deck. Just asking.)

Great crew - came in exactly when they said they would. Finished my entire house in an hour. Very professional, very kind people who even helped me (using their large ladders) to replace a few lightbulbs that I could not reach. Great job overall, would totally hire again!

Very happy with the service provided. I recieved a call the day before with a 2 hour time window and a call the day of to confirm it was not raining. The gentlemen showed up on time and got right to work. They informed me of minor damage found on a roof cap and reviewed the work when completed.

after they finished, the place looks new. I no longer have to hang my head in shame in front of my neighbors! highly recommend this company.

Horribly they destroyed my property and now they are trying to blamend me. These people are a joke! Do not use them

The company did a great job. They did a thorough job of cleaning the trellis and the concrete wall and steps. They used red color sealant for the trellis, and the guys did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. The workers were professional and courteous.

They actually came a day early to avoid rain. Everything went well.

Very smooth all around. No hiccups from scheduling to having the services performed. It was very nice to "sit back" and let a reputable company do its job. The workers arrived on time, explained what they were doing, and set about their job. They reviewed their work with me to assess my satisfaction. The work was sound and they left the work site and my home clean.

These folks came out on a sub-40 degree day to wash my house and worked hard in tough conditions with a good attitude. They left my house and porches looking like they had been newly painted. Will definitely use again.

Excellent! Jorge arrived early, explained the entire process and got to work. My house has never looked better. He also made sure to point out a few problem areas he saw with the deck rail and wood surrounding a door.

Amazing! Unfortunately I wasn't there while the work was performed however, my neighbors were kind enough to let me know the detail they went through and how careful they were. I am so happy with the results. I needed that curb appeal for our house and we got it. Thank you!

The work was excellent. They explained their methods, answered all our questions and made us feel confident about the work. They did a very professional job and were careful to protect our fish pond and plants from the roof runoff.

No work performed. See comments above. If this company had provided the two items requested, there would have been no need for further discussion. Since they didn't or couldn't, we are not doing business with them. We certainly gave them ample opportunity.

They came much earlier than what was scheduled which worked out very well for me. The service provider was very knowledgable. He walked me around the house to show me what things will be able to be cleaned and other areas that wouldn't. He identified the areas that needed repainting that would not be corrected with soft wash. They did a very thorough job. My house looks as good as new.

I called Affordable Softwash Solutions based on good reviews that I read on Angie's list. I spoke with Barbara on Monday, June 6 to ask about power washing the deck around the pool. She explained everything and I was happy to hear that they had an opening for the following day. Jorge called as planned with an estimate and I gave him the OK to do the job. When I came home I found our deck looking great....cleaner than ever!! I will definitely use Affordable Softwash Solutions again in the future.
