It couldn't have gone better. Mr. Taylor contacted me, as soon as I submitted my job request. We agreed on a date and time. Mr. Taylor arrived on time and explained what would be involved in installing the recessed lighting. What a fantastic job!! I decided to include my kitchen at the last minute and Mr. Taylor agreed, even though it required him to make a special trip to Home Depot. I could not be happier with the job. I would recommend recessed lighting (Love, Love, Love these lights) and Mr. Taylor any time. He will be my go to electrical guy from now on.

I got a deal from Angi regarding outdoor electrical outlet installation for $125. The provider contacted me back and said that it would cost $225. This is false advertising. They should honor the deal as advertised and not mislead members.

I feel sad in a way that I have to write this negative review—-as in my meeting Mr. Taylor and my two different calls to him he seemed pleasant and knowledgeable. However, he three times did not return my calls, nor responded to a fairly long email to him. Last mid-July Mr. Taylor came over to give me an estimate on an upstairs bathroom fan to be vented out my attic, a light to go into the attic and putting in a dedicated line for an above range microwave. I told him at the time I was getting another electrical estimate and would be busy preparing to get two bedrooms floors resurfaced and varnished. I also was preparing for the memorial service for my father. I called him in early Sept to clarify about the microwave—as a wall shelf needed to be installed along with the microwave below it. . He did not return my called from the message I left. Not hearing back form him, I chose another electrician in November and was fine with some of the work but unhappy with the way it was vented into my attic—being concerned as it was not vented outside it would cause mold and mildew problems. I again called and spoke with Mr. Taylor shorty after the completion of this work and talked with him about the possibility of putting a vent cap through a small portion of the brickwork in the attic to the outside—-up about 25 feet. He said he could do this, but would need to wait until early spring as it was becoming colder ( I told him this was ‘fine’) , and to call him the next week to set up for an estimate—-as he did not have his scheduling book with him. I called Mr. Taylor twice over the following two weeks and did not receive any callback, though I left messages on his voicemail which had a voice identifying it as Taylor Electric and Generator LLC. I wrote Mr.Taylor an email a few weeks later explaining why I did not re-call the original company that I had used in Nov. who installed and vented my bathroom fan into the attic , as in our brief phone conversation in Nov. he asked about this, and I offered him a short answer—which may have not been too clear. In this email I brought up that I as the homeowner had bought the fan and the exhaust ducts and these would have been inadequate for properly doing the job or any workman. I explained to Mr. Taylor that I was not unhappy that this did not work—-but that the previous electrician rather than just telling me this, made a potentially harmful construction of just laying a vent pipe down in the attic towards a outside fascia board with no real gap for true ventilating. Thus I was seek Mr. Taylors possible help rather than go back to the company that gave me this poor design. I never heard back from Mt. Taylor—-one way of another.

Taylor was excellent. Returned my request for a quote within a day. Electrician was professional and clean. Work was of high quality. Highly recommend them. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about Clinton Electric, D. Moore & Associates as well as FB Improvement (all on Angie's list). None of them even took the time to respond to my request for quote. I do not recommend them.

Great work and very friendly. Was very thorough and made sure to offer recommendations. I had 3 outlets installed - 2 in our backyard/patio and one out front. I'm sure I'll use their service again!

I'm very pleased with the work done by Taylor Electric. I used the deal for $480 for 4 recessed lights installed. I realized I actually needed 8. He came out on time did the job and cleaned up. I just love how it all turned out and wished I had done this sooner. Would certainly hire again.

Don't want to report them as bad since I have no idea what quality of service they provlide. I contacted them twice and they never ever replied to either inquiry. Obviously, they didn't want or need the business.

Harry gave me a time/date that was sooner than others. He called 30 minutes before arriving and showed up earlier than expected. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly (with 2 onlookers eagerly watching) and fix it within 40 minutes (found a burned out wire nut). The cost was very reasonable. This was an older building, 1895, that others wouldn’t even touch.

My bathroom fan burned up, found a deal on Angie's list for a replacement. Fan was replaced on time, without issue. Got a quote to install hookups and transfer switches to hook a portable generator up to my house wiring. went with the quote, installation was quick and painless, A+

Lost electricity in this latest massive storm. Harry was out with in 24 hours and repaired the old generator receiver (He will laugh at this I have no idea what it's called), brought a generator and we had water for our farm and a couple plugs like the refrigerator and the coffee maker. Yay we can wait for BGE to replace the transformer. Thanks Harry!!!
