The roofers did things quickly, but they did miss a few spots. They fixed the problems, and the work in general was good. They did a fair job of cleaning up after themselves, but we did find a lot of nails. Overall we are happy with their service.

The siding project went well! The people who did the siding were very accommodating. They helped me see what they were doing with the job, and gave me my options. We had a different company mess up some gutter work and they charged me nothing. We are happy with their work.

Overall, it went extremely well. With a crew of about 15 guys they removed all the cedar shingle and installed a large roof in one day. As to be expected in any roofing job, a few plants were damaged and a few screens were scratched/torn. However, they promptly fixed all the screens they damaged and gave us a credit for the damaged plants. They also made one mistake from our contract, by order of our HOA we requested "open valleys" (which is basically exposed flashing where the pitched roofs meet), this was not initially completed correctly. When I called about this, they sent out a crew of three guys the next day to fix it. In terms of price, they were literally 30% less than two competing quotes we received. Customer service was outstanding. Chrissy went out of her way to make sure we were pleased throughout the process. Also, they did an excellent job of cleaning up, once they were gone, you couldn't tell they were ever there. And I never found even one roofing nail in our yard. In this day and age when it is so hard to find a good contractor, I have finally found one; highly recommended!

In and out in one day they are 100% ready to do business. I have the most beautiful roof in the neighborhood.

This is a company that initially specialized in roofing but now does house additions. They completed a house addition for me---but it would take a year to describe the issues I had with this company. They sent out an inexperienced man to do the initial estimate. He gave incorrect pricing, etc. which led to a comedy of errors that never ended. To the company's credit, the president of the company did not charge me extra for the error on their part of mis-judging my overall landscaping (to get the work started). The process of getting my home addition put on was a nightmare, at best. The foreman would create stories as he went along, just enough to please my husband and me. The work would start, then take weeks before they re-initiated the work. I would have to call and complain before getting any attention or help. I was never sure when they would show up. The sub-contractors were outstanding and their workmanship impeccable. I would have liked to have worked with them directly. My issue was with the company itself. The president and his secretary were professional. However, several of their other employees were obnoxious. I had to put one of them out of my house and I also had to tell the company to keep him away from my phone and from me. It took an abnormally long time for them to complete the project...close to a year. My house was dusty and filthy for a year and they did not even clean it after they finished all the work-and I had to insist on them reimbursing me for hiring a cleaning company (which they did). They were taking on too many projects and apparently were stringing along each project, just enough to keep people hoping the work would be done. They would start, stop...not call to explain. Then they would apologize and promise better communication. It went on and on and on for almost a year of my life. They are fortunate I did not sue them because they did not put put up a caution sign once and when I went to open my door to inspect the work, my leg went into a hole that was left uncovered. My experience with this company was simply a nightmare. The saving grace is that the president of the company and his secretary were reasonable-more than I could say for the other employees. To the president's favor, went over budget, but he allowed me extra time to pay the additional cost, which I do appreciate greatly. He needs to find a way to re-train his employees who are in the field. He knows what he is doing but clearly many of his employees do not. His strength is that his subcontractors are phenomenal, at least the ones who worked on my house.

The job was great! The workers were prompt and easy to work with. The prices were great. They stayed on schedule and were on time to each of the appointments.

They were prompt and courteous. The initial price given was quite acceptable, but when I got the written quote it was over 50% higher. I was disappointed in this. I would not have expected them to miss over 50% of a price.

Company representative came out and gave a prompt and reasonable estimate. Work was completed over two days. The crew did a good job and cleaned up before they left. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work and the windows.

Well, it all started out good. Now, it is not so good. I think the salesman was scared initially. If we have something that needs fixed or changes to make, we have to call about 3 times to get it done. I mean the roof and windows turned out pretty good, but, I would not use them again, because, just when something did come up the salesman really never knew. The roof was fine and the quality was good, but, it was more of a headache once it got started. If I were to rate the original response before it all got done, I would have given them an A. Now, I would give a little lower grade. Also, there English was not 100 percent either. It was hard to get ideas across. I also do not recall the charge.

In the beginning it took some time to get them to actually come out as we were having some scheduling issues but that was the only problem I had with them. I guess it was worth the wait for quality reasons and they are probably very busy which means that they must be very good. I can't complain too much.

The were prompt, very courteous. Have a problem with handling information in their office (lack of communication). All of their employees are full time, so you're not getting anyone who was just released from prison. They did a superlative job. They left one scrap of something on my porch, but that's the only complaint I had. Their price was on par with everybody else.

They listened to me explain what I wanted and provided a speedy, detailed estimate. I plan to eventually have S & K do this work, but am waiting until I can pay in cash.

They were on time & polite when reviewing my house. They later emailed (my preferred delivery method) a detailed estimate to me. I had some questions about the work & emailed them back & they responded to me promptly and courteously. The only reason I didn't have the work performed is because I cannot afford it at this time.

Ask for Shawn. He came in the middle of a rainstorm and did a temporary repair that night. He came back the next morning and spent 3 hours repairing the roof. He fixed a 14 month old leak that others were unable to fix previously.

I am very pleased with this company. I had a central contact "Kathy" who was friendly, polite and helpful. My roof leaked during recent rains, and she sent out a team to repair it immediately. They were able to do a quick-fix to stop the water from coming in, but needed to do more extensive repairs another day. They didn't charge me a thing that day, and provided me with a written statement of the work that needed to be completed. The company also provided me with written estimates for both the repair work I needed done and the shingle vent, which they recommended, and a document detailing the contract terms and conditions. Between the time I scheduled the work and the time it was completed, one man of their 2-man roofing team left the company. This had no impact on their ability to complete my job, and I appreciated that. The roofer "Todd" worked efficiently and was very polite when he needed anything from me. He cleaned up his work area. Excellent company.

Very responsive at a time when it was virtually impossible to get any roofers to even answer the phone, much less come out and repair. They first came after only a couple of days to try to temporarily caulk part of the roof. Unfortunately, that didn't work and so they send the crew to do the big repair. Did not ask me for a cent up front - mailed a bill to me after the fact. One of the owners (who I spoke with initially) actually answered the phone herself - on a weekend when I called, hoping simply to get into a queue for a return call! Very good customer service and very nice folks dealing with a messy roof situation caused by another roofer.

Professional and responsible from beginning to end. It is obvious that S & K takes their business very seriously. We have been customers of S & K for so many years, we saw your ad on Fox and wanted to be sure that they were on your List- mostly because they have far exceeded any expectation we have had of any contractor (and we have had a lot of experience with contractors, it's nice to report a positive experience and not a negative one)!

The company was very prompt with the completion of their work. The workers took time to address my concerns and followed through.

My overall experience was very positive even though it took a couple of calls to get a return and the repair guy was 1/2 hour later than the 2 hour window they promised! They had a professional attitude and had the dispatcher email and follow up to schedule. Sean (I think),the roofer was 30 minutes later than promised but did a great job! I thought the pricing was fair for the job performed!

They were supposed to be here between 8 and 9, but they showed up a few minutes after 7AM...The weatherman was calling for rain in the late afternoon, and they wanted to be finished in time. They went over the yard several times checking for nails and debris. S & K did a wonderful job and we will be recommending them.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING AND THEN DIDN'T DO IT. THEY LEFT NAILS AND PIECES OF OLD SHINGLES ALL OVER THE YARD. WE HAD TO HOUND THEM TO DO THE THINGS THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO.

I WOULD SAY EXCELLENT COMPANY. THEY DID A PROMPT JOB ON THE WORK THEY COMPLETED. WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED THEY PICKED UP ALL THE ODDS AND ENDS THEY LEFT BEHIND. VERY PLEASED WITH HOW THE GUTTERS LOOK.

EXCELLENT - PROMPT, GAVE ME A FIRM BID, THEY CAME OUT WITHIN A RELATIVELY QUICK, DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE EMPLOYEES WERE CLEAN.

THEY WERE GOOD. THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DIDN'T DAMAGE ANYTHING. THERE WAS NO MESS LEFT BEHIND, I AM VERY PLEASED OVERALL. THEY WERE VERY GOOD AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.
