S&K were great! I needed to have a skylight replaced, but I wanted a specific one with a built in solar blind. Josh at S&K was very responsive and told me that they installed the particular type of window I was looking for. The pricing was reasonable and the installation was not invasive esp during COVID. I would definitely use this company again.

Great! Marvin and his crew were wonderful. They did phenomenal work.

Crew replaced our entire roof including installation of ice guard, flashing, broan vents, and soffet plugs. Old roof was off and new roof was on in one day. Plugs went in the next day. They showed up ready to work at 7:00 am and left the job site immaculate. Second time we’ve used them (we used them on our old townhouse before we sold it). They aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for. Example: I had asked them to inspect some T111 boards that looked like they were rotting; turns it was just the paint flaking, and they touched it up without being asked. Would certainly use them again.

S&K came and replaced our roof. They did an excellent job. They took up the asphalt shingles and the underlaying cedar shingles and put down new plywood and new asphalt shingles. They were friendly, quick and affordable. The roof looks really tight. They even went above and beyond, removing an old TV antenna and obsolete metal vent pipe. Will be glad to use them in the future and would highly recommend.

I give an A++ to the crew. I was informed ahead of how to prepare. I was told it would take 4 days. They were 4 or 5 workers (depending on days). All of them worked well and efficiently, got perfectly well with each other. A great efficient team! Always polite, considerate, letting me know if/ when they were coming back, always cleaning up before leaving. In fact, they managed to get the work finished in 3 days, in spite of icy cold and wind. As I keep looking every day at the total work and all details, I marvel each time. I'm very happy with the clean elegant work all over, special attention given to windows, small ceilings (front porch and under gutters and roof), the light fixtures and the vent: All is harmonious installed and framed perfectly. Nice people and great workers.

We could not have been happier with S&K's work. The salesman Josh was very professional and everything went totally smoothly. They were able to accommodate our very specific scheduling request. The workers showed up exactly on time and completed the job in one day. They just had to return to do the overhang for one bay window, but that was quick and done in a way to accommodate our schedule. They were efficient and did a great job. Our new roof looks terrific. This was a job we were dreading, but it turned out to be a pretty easy, very straightforward job. I highly recommend S&K.

The roof and gutters were just installed a week ago so can't comment on performance but they look great. All employees encountered were very courteous and helpful and very professional in conducting their business with a pleasant approach toward customers. I believe S&K to be a trustworthy company. Happy with the roofing materials selection and quality. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We wanted to replace one window and they said they would have to install at least 6 windows. That cost us $6200. The whole purpose was to keep the bathroom warmer and they promised us with their windows that the bathroom would be warmer however its still cold as it ever was. The senior executive passed us off to someone else, he never returned my calls. There were other problems as well. They broke the balance for our blinds and it took weeks before they could get the part to repair.

This job was the third one that I have contracted with S & K. Previously they replaced our house's siding and roof. It's gotten to the point where I trust their work so much that I no longer bother to call for other estimates. I certainly wasn't disappointed this time either. The deck looks absolutely great, and I have received numerous compliments from neighbors. I think I'm actually running out of jobs for them to do, but if I find something else to be done, S & K will be the company I'll use.

It went well. These shingles were required for my house as it is old and in a historic district. More expensive and more difficult to install than other metal roofs. They did an excellent job, hope it lasts another 100+ years like the shingles they removed.

Went well. It was a one day job to remove and replace all gutters on a 115 yr old house. Work was excellent.

Very happy with the work. Crew arrived on time, wore masks, did their work efficiently and well. Look forward to having another door installed by them soon.

From estimate to completion S&K is a stellar firm. The estimate process was no pressure and they listened to my needs. Other companies told me what I should get and tried hard to get me to sign on the bottom line (for literally thousands of dollars more). S&K gave a good price and let me decide. Their workers were courteous and they did a great job in a day and half. Very pleased with the result. HIGHLY RECCOMEND S&K!!!

S&K came out immediately to assess our roof, gave us a fair estimate and assisted us with our selections. They were very professional completing the job, as promised. I would highly recommend them!

S & K were professional all the way. The did what they said they'd do; when they said they would do it. There was a small misinterpretation related to the scope of the project, that was corrected on the spot. We have not received the bill, but based on professionalism of the project thus far, we feel we will be charged what was quoted on the proposal with no up-charges.

Sean and the entire crew did a fantastic job for us! Everyone was polite and professional. Sean answered any questions and made sure we were happy with the progress on the project. S&K replaced our roof in Ellicott City a number of years ago and we are very pleased you came here to Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County to do another excellent job in taking care of our roof replacement. Although we are not ready for the fall season to be over yet, we are confident that whatever winter weather comes our way, our house will be well protected with the new roof!

Excellent all around. Sales was propt and helpful, even adding an option to my original quote that would allow me to replace all the plywood underlayment if needed. Scheduling was flexible as I had a gutter screen from another company that had to remove the gutters before S&K could install the roofing. They handled all of the job in an excellent manner, even having a cleanup person who checked the entire roof to enxure all work was up to snuff. Great people and I'd hire again.

S&K Roofing is the best! Their professionalism, workmanship, customer service, and commitment to quality is excellent. We replaced a roof and had new shutters installed. Both look fantastic. We've used S&K several times over the last 20 years, and have been impressed with them every time.

We have been dealing with S&K for years...they replaced our old gutters, and did our attic windows. That was well done and went well [w billing, office contact, etc] so we had them replace our 1st floor windows. That was terrific too. So now [3years later] they just did our 2nd floor windows and again we are very pleased. Each job was done by a different team of two...each has been very diligent and steady working and considerate. Also they are thorough when cleaning up. I have noticed that the workers stay w s&k and there is not constant turnover. That, to me speaks well of the company. We have been pleased with all aspects of their work. I'm sure we could probably find a bit lower price if we looked but we appreciate the accountability, good workmanship and polite people.

From the very first contact we appreciated the NO pressure approach when we received our estimate from Dane, Dane responded to each of my questions, but never contacted me about buying the windows, unlike the other two estimates I received. The installers Steve and Gary arrived on time, put down drop clothes and cleaned areas after work was completed on each window. They moved a couple of pieces of furniture that needed to be moved out of work area and also took down a large blind for me. They were friendly, professional and very accommodating. They explained what would be done each day and demonstrated how to operate the windows before they left. We are very pleased with the final results. Also, each time I contacted Patti in the office she responded quickly and answered all my questions. Very satisfied with the job. We would use them again and recommend them to others..

We had a rotten T111 siding panel. S&K dropped the replacement panels off before hand so that I could stain them on the ground. When they came to install the new panels, they found the plywood underneath had rotted as well. They quickly obtained and installed replacement plywood panels, covered them in Tyvek, and then installed the new panels. The panels they ordered as replacements were not the same length as the originals (which would have been special order) but the workmen were able to cut, join, and seal them so that the seams were not conspicuous. On the original install they missed one gap to caulk; a single email got them out quickly to remedy the situation satisfactorily. I have used S&K to install a cedar roof at a former residence and they did a very good job; I plan to use them for the roof on my current residence as well.
