Went great! This was my second time using Michael Runk plumbing for a leaky pipe. Steven quickly identified the pipe responsible for leaking in my basement. Then the running toilet was an easy fix for him as well and all said and done he had fixed the two issues in no time at all!

I called late A.M. and they were over with a new water heater by mid afternoon and all was installed by 4 P.M. They are by far not the least expensive, but they are professional and their responsiveness is excellent. Our tech was super informative and very nice and helpful. I would use them again.

I was scheduled for replacement and even though the temperatures were in the single digits, everyone on the team did an excellent job. My property was excavated, new line was buried and my water was turned on, all within hours of them starting work. All work was done to my satisfaction with a smile and a firm handshake. It was a pleasure to do business with Mike and I look forward to using his services again in the future.

Great! Mike arrived sooner than I expected, found the leak, clearly explained what was needed, did the repair right away.

I have had good service with them. They are good. They are not inexpensive but I think they are worth the value.

He got it done quickly and cleaned everything up well. He was very polite and professional. I liked that he quoted me a price on the phone rather than requiring a visit for an estimate.

2 hours from pickup and arrival until job was done

Smoothly. Mike was on time both times he came to my house, friendly and professional, and did a great job.

Very Expensive and Dishonest! He was supposed to give me a free estimate. He looked at my outside faucet. He said "let me see what I can do." Ended up changing a top that probably costed him $2. He never disclosed any price. He writes me a ticket for $168. $168 in just 10 minutes!! I call him 2 hours later to inform him that I am considering filing a complaint. He says "This is the trust cost of our services, but I will come in and give you your check back and remove the part I installed" 2 days later he doesn't show up. I call him he says "I am coming today" The day he said that they cashed the check that they were supposed to return. Following day I call him back and he says "you shouldn't have given us the check if you were unhappy with work" No I shouldn't have trusted you to come back after you deceived me once.

I had to pay him twice for him to come here. The work took about 1 hour to complete. They sent two workers. They left the area as clean as they found it. If you tell someone you are coming with parts you should bring the parts. It is like a cheesy marketing program.

They did a good job. I think the guy was excellent. He was prompt and efficient. He got it done and didn't try to oversell me anything. He was a nice guy. I liked him. The work turned out pretty well and I didn't have any problems. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

Job went smoothly. The work was done neatly and all my questions were answered. He even noticed a problem with my hot water tank and corrected it. I would recommend this company.

The repairs were completed to our satisfaction. We were pleased and happy to find a new plumber in our area.

Found old water heater leaking on a Sunday. Called Michael Runk first thing Monday morning, and by 4PM the same day had a new water heater installed and the old one carried away. Job was done quickly, cleanly, professionally. New water heater has been working fine for a family of 5 for the past two months.

Didn't know that they normally do commercial and not residential plumbing. So they're pricing was on the high-side for residential plumbing work.

Great! Mike was awesome. I highly recommend him! He is very polite and explains things so you understand what is needed. He was quick to finish the job and did it impeccably. He costs less than the larger companies but you get better service from a truly experienced plumber.

Michael Runk's team was very responsive to our plea for help when we gave them a call after the County told us the leak and doubling of our water bill was our problem, with the leak still active. They were at our house the very same day we called to quickly assess the situation, and even sent a second team later the same day to create an estimate for the worst case scenerio if we had to dig up and replace 300 feet of water line from the street to our house. Michael Runk was very responsive to our phone calls over the next couple of days as we continued to talk with the County water department. The Michael Runk team came back and did a second inspection of the water leak, and strongly advised us to push back on the County and insist the leak was a County problem. We then emphasized to the County that we had a qualified plumber in Michael Runk, and what they were saying about the leak. This resulted in a County supervisor coming out and doing another inspection, with the result that the County reversed its decision, and declared the leak to be a County problem after all. The leak was repaired at no cost to us by the County, and our water bill will be adjusted to remove the extra cost caused by the leak. In the end, the professional judgement of the Michael Runk team helped us avoid not only a $6,000+ bill to replace our water line, but also being without water for up to 2 days (a family of 5!), and other unforseen problems. A less scrupulous contractor may have just accepted the County's initial assessment in order to sell us a job, but there was absolutely no hint of this with Michael Runk -- they continually demonstrated reluctance to do work which they didn't think was necessary. How refreshing to work with a contractor who obviously put our interests first!

Mr. Runk arrived right when he said he would and quickly determined that the bathtub drain stop was broken in the stopped position. He explained what he found at each step of the way and made the needed repairs to get the drain running again. There are related problems with will require additional work and he's promised to work up a quote for those. This company provided great service at a very fair cost.

The plumber responded quickly and was able to fit our needs into his schedule/ He fitted new copper piping to replace existing piping that had started leaking from a pin hole. The work was performed as we requested.

On a Saturday (which explains the cost), we got a quick call back after leaving a message with the answering service. Rob called and came within the hour. He was friendly, extremely professional, and got right to work (we had had an experience with a different plumber on Thanksgiving who talked a LOT and then charged us for every minute of his time...!). He diagnosed the problem and was very honest about the cost of doing the repair job on a Saturday, and he had a few other emergency jobs to do as well. He advised that we wait until regular business hours. He stopped the leak and pointed out where our work had gone wrong and what would need to be done to fix it. It's a bummer that we will have to wait without a bathroom now for a couple of days, but the guidance was appreciated and it will save us money in the long run.

I called to schedule some work and had to leave a message with the answeringr service. Never received a call back. Too bad. I live in the same community and it was an easy job resulting from a kitchen renovation. Work went to another plumber.
