I DEAL WITH ROBERT BENNETT FOR A ROOF REPLACEMENT FOR FEW WEEKS, AND YESTERDAY HE TEXTED ME TO FOLLOW UP AND I TOLD HIM THAT I JUST FIXED THE ROOF AND WILL WAIT FOR A REPLACEMENT CAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO HURT HIS FEELINGS; THEN HE SNAPPS, CALLING ME :" LYING ****SUKER, AMWAY SALESPERSON, CHEAP, POOR ENGLISH, BULLSHEET SELLER, NOT BEING BRIGHT, I DON'T HAVE NO MONEY WHY SHOULD I SHOP FOR SOMETHING, **** ***, ... THE LIST GOES ON." PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE TEXTS ESCHANGE IN THE PICTURES BETWEEN ME ( IN BLUE WRITING ) AND HIM WHITE AND BLACK WRITING. IT IS JUST DESPICABLE, I'VE NEEVR SEE ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE. I CAN FEEL HIS ANGER AND IGNORANCE FROM HIS WORDS, BUT HE FOUNF OUT HE BULLIED THE WRONG GUY THIS TIME.

It went great. The owner, Bob Bennett, came over and was friendly and helpful in answering questions. The team of workers did an excellent job. They worked fast in the hot sun and were friendly.

I had received several estimates before and after I spoke to Bob from Legacy Home Remodeling. I knew as soon as I read his reviews he was a front runner and meeting him confirmed my feelings. He didn’t waste my time trying to sell his company for 30 minutes. He arrived, did a thorough examination of my roof, explained his recommendations and the projected cost. He let me know right away what would look the best on the house. The roof was quickly scheduled and completed as promised and gave the house a much needed facelift. The crew was friendly and efficient and cleaned everything up before leaving and making sure we were satisfied. I would recommend this company to everyone looking for an honest upfront appraisal of what is needed. There are no surprises or inflated costs. Another company I spoke to was adding a charge for a steep roof! Beware of roofers offering a sale. I found several who greatly inflated the cost and then gave me a much lower price which still came in much higher than Legacy Home Remodeling. I was able to get the best service, the highest quality shingles and end product with Legacy Home Remodeling.

The initial visit by Robert to look at the job went well. The quoted price was given as a number on the back of a business card (with no indication of how long the price was good for). That was followed with constant pressure tactics to make a decision based on a supposed material cost increase. Due to the lack of details on the business card quote, we asked Robert to complete a form itemizing scope and associated cost. He questioned our need for the request and begrudgingly supplied the information. When notifying Robert of a delay in our decision to proceed, we received a rude unprofessional response. Overall, Robert forgot who the customer was in this process.

Excellent from start to finish! Bob came out and gave us a thorough estimate on the spot. He had samples of all the materials with him so we knew exactly what products would be used on the job. Bob knew his products well and gave us really sound advice on how to improve and modernize the appearance of the house (1950's brick rancher). The workmen were on time, efficient, professional, and respectful of our home. They paid attention to the little details that really finished off the job. They also did a great job of cleanup after the work was complete. I got 5 estimates before choosing Legacy Home Remodeling. Legacy was not the lowest or the highest. The low bid was $1600. below and the high bid was $2700. above the final price with Legacy. None of the other contractors impressed me or gave me the confidence in their work that Bob did. Also, he threw in some extras (garage door trim, shutter, extra shingles) that the highest contractor did not offer. My advice for what it is worth, "Don't go cheap, go quality!" I highly recommend Legacy Home Remodeling and would not hesitate to hire them for future projects.

Bob was no nonsense and easy to work with from the estimate straight through to the finish. His crew did a fantastic job on a complex roof installation. Would recommend to anyone needing a roof replacement.

The person who came out to do the estimate arrived promptly at the time he said he would. Was surprised that in fact the job was a small job, and continued to emphasize to me that the job was not worth it. He did not get on top of the roof to inspect, nor did he accurately measure the space. He then took me to the back of his truck, rather than come into my house to show me samples and even then he just sort of flashed at me rather than explain what they were. No formal estimate in writing was given. Rather he randomly typed some numbers into his phone calculator and showed me the screen. After which he told me, “This is such a small job, it seems hardly worth it to have my crew come out. They usually do townhouses which require 10 boards.” I then said thank you and proceeded to walk back into my house, as I thought I was being denied service as a customer. The contractor asked if I would sign. I said no thank you. He shouted at me that I was being rude and he’d bill me for the estimate. At no point was I ever told the estimate would be billed. I am incensed at this company and it’s employee that think he can come to my home and tell me my project is not worth his time. He should have ascertained this information prior to calling me to request an appointment, or upon seeing the scope of the project.

Absolutely wonderful!!!! Bob Bennett and his staff were great!! Love our new screened porch and siding on the back of our home. Work and quality of the job was fantastic. We would highly recommend Legacy to family and friends and get them for any future job for our home.

Very professional window installers who know the product well and were able to answer questions. Very little clean up, but what there was, they took care of. They were respectful of our home. We are also extremely pleased with our new roof. Excellent quality and the finished product looks absolutely great.

I can’t say enough about Legacy! Bob was great to work with, his crew was hard working and professional and the end product is amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

They did an excellent job! Very good communication, very hard workers, always exactly on time. They only use the best quality roofing material which is locally made here in Baltimore. I would highly recommend Legacy!

Used Legacy to have the windows and doors in my home replaced. Received multiple quotes and Legacy was the most reasonable for the scope of the work. The crew was fantastic and professional. The work was done well within the estimated timeframe. The windows and doors are great quality.

After researching the cost of replacing the 25-year-old roof on my 47-year-old house and meeting with a few contractors to receive estimates, I met with Robert Bennett, the owner of Legacy Home Remodeling, Inc. Mr. Bennett was knowledgeable, straightforward, and provided a competitive estimate for the product I was looking for. I greatly appreciated his no-nonsense approach, his advice, and recommendations. Further, he regularly communicated regarding the installation date based upon our schedule and the unpredictable spring weather. Douglas and his crew arrived on time and worked tirelessly for twelve hours the first day. They not only removed the old shingles and installed new shingles, but they spent the time to assess the condition of the roof and repaired it as needed. On day two, they spent a few hours finishing roofing details and removing the old roof debris from my front and back lawns. I was particularly concerned about the amount of debris on my lawn but they did a remarkable job cleaning up. They went above and beyond! The project was completed on time and on budget. The roof looks great and I could not be happier with the service and the final results!
