+ -1 moreHis work on the first project led me to hire him for the second. He's a little quirky as he talks his way thru a project and you can tell if things are going well, or not, by his tone of voice but his work is good.
Description of Work: 1. Installed new tiled shower stall & a toilet in the master bath $4700 2. Built an interior wall with locking pocket doors around an existing den toilet to create a half bath. $ 1400

+ -1 moreMr. Lopez provided the most competitive quote for this job, and itemized each portion so that my husband and I could determine what, if anything, we might do ourselves. (For example, we decided to the painting ourselves.) He arrived promptly every day, and even finished the project one day ahead of time. This was especially significant as the Christmas holidays were fast approaching.
Description of Work: Mr. Lopez of Grand Design LLC made two small rooms into one large room. He knocked down the walls between the two rooms, took out the two closets that existed back-to-back from each of the rooms, removed one of the doors and made that space flush with the existing wall, built a new, large closet, and installed a light box in the center of the new room. It looks great!

Description of Work: Carlos, Was punctual and very responsive. The work he did was on an old bathroom and replacing outside brick concrete/ retaining wall. He gave a high estimate, so that it was easy to plan for worst case scenerio. The final job was under which was better. His prices were fair and he gave itemized reciepts. He made sure I knew when he arrived and when he was leaving, since I was not in the area and kept me abreast of the whole job. I am very please with his work and his professionalism and would refer him to other clients.

+ -1 moreI cannot express how Carlos has been responsive to detail; not just coming at the designated time. He advised me of concerns I'd not before taken into mind with respect of the movement of furniture, electricity and cable access. He did beautiful work; there was negligible sawdust eventhough there was much carpentry to be done. The finishing touches (e.g., wall plate, cable, ceiling restoration) were perfect eventhough I'd never even considered it. I felt more than comfortable having Carlos in my home even when I was not there. He was beyond communicative; there was never a moment of doubt, even when he phoned me at the office to let me know my house's front door was WIDE open upon his arrival due to my daughter's forgotten "responsibility".. I truly believe that Carlos is beyond a handyman/carpenter/remodeler. He has evidence of his skills, integrity of his work and dedication to the craft upon which he places his name. I will NEVER hesitate to call upon Carlos for any type of job to be done within my home.
Description of Work: Carlos transformed a 6' loft bed into a beautiful 4 poster bed. He relocated a wall-attached TV/VCR unit from one room to another.
