Fogle's Septic Service

I have been a customer of Fogle Septic for the past seven years. I have used them for multiple properties. My most recent experience was with the owner on a weekend. He charged me an excessive amount of money for a service that they were supposed to complete the day before which I paid for. When I had a conversation with the owner on the phone he became irate and started this long rant of screaming and cursing at me. He used more than ten curse words back to back trying to convince me that he did me a favor by sending someone out for a weekend call. I feel very strongly that there was racial discrimination towards me. Who curses at someone when they did not do what they were supposed to do in the first place? On the weekends he only takes cash and they do not give receipts. I warn everyone to beware of this questionable ‘cash only’ weekend business practice. He is a despicable person and should not be serving the public. On the other hand, the people that work for him are very nice but the owner is a nasty person. He needs to realize that people have choices and Fogle Septic will never be a choice of mine again. <

So my sister had a problem with septic tank they sent her a quote on how much it would be but she never gave a them day or scheduled the work too do the work so the RUDE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE heather was confrontational aggressive rude refused to answer her question on who told them too come out and do the work today several times and got rude and arrogant Tried to say she called on the 20th and got the okay for today but she never called my sister to set it up on the 20th she checked her call log after being caught in her lie she’s became aggressive and threaten to have the crew just fill in the hole and leave multiple times. even thought the only problem was trying to figure out why heather schedule the work with out tell the home owner not the she didn’t want to have it done just wanted to know who schedule it which my sister said multiple times that’s not why she was call but again the POOR RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE heather was being totally unprofessional.

We were pleased. This was our 1st pump out. We bought this house 2 yrs ago, and at the time we had our offer accepted, no other company would make themselves available in time for an inspection. They were thorough & informative then, found serious work the sellers needed to do..., reevaluated it after seller's work was completed etc. We were thankful then. Fast forward to today. Online I found companies with better ratings & slightly better prices, but we felt a certain loyalty to Fogle's for all that help 2 years ago. We were pleased today, too. They made an appointment, had our records on file from 2 years ago. Noone needed to be home. They left a very detailed report & receipt so we have a record of the condition of everything when they pumped out. Hope I don't need them for another 2 years, but when the time comes, I will choose to call on them first again. Some other reviewers complained about the manner of the person on the phone. I had no problem with her at all. Needless to say, I wasn't looking for small talk or someone to ask about my day. I'm calling to schedule waste removal from a septic tank. She did what I asked & explained the cost & timeline matter of factly. I have no hesitation in recommending Fogle's to anyone.

First time I used this company. I was referred to this company by another company I generally use but which no longer handles septic line repairs. Extremely professional and courteous staff from the moment they answered my call to finishing the job. Very competitive quote to do the job and the final price matched the quote. Prompt and followed through on everything they said. Excellent repair.

We were able to schedule Fogle's about 1-1/2 weeks from the date we called. They arrived on the scheduled date (although rather late in the day). This septic tank pump out service had not been done for over 9 years. Everything worked out okay. They recommended doing this again in 4 years. Of the $185 standard charge, Howard County gave us a $100 rebate as part of the clean water program. We used Fogle's based on the Angie's List rating and because they are close to our house.

Technician was timely, neat and efficient.

Kudos for honesty!! After examining the tank, technician said it wasn't full and advised against pumping. I took his advice and there was no charge for the visit. Saved $250 Fogle's is the best.

Dealing with Fogle's has been an absolutely horrible experience. I recently purchased a house with a brand new septic system that Fogle's had put in. Within six weeks of owning the house we realized only a quarter of the homes plumbing was connected to the new septic. The rest was connected to an illegal gray water system. In addition to this, when doing work, Fogle's crushed an exterior pipe for a storm water drain which caused our basement to flood. Fogle's refused to fix the crushed pipe, and refused to take responsibility for installing a septic that does not service the majority of the house. The home is older and was on a cesspool. Both of these should have been red flags that a gray water system existed. In addition, the ladies in the office are extremely rude. I have never been yelled at as a customer until now. The owner is unhelpful and refused to speak to me politely. All of these repairs are costing me upwards of $10,000. If you want to be spoken to rudely, and want the minimal amount of acceptable work done, call Fogle's. Otherwise call another company.

They promised to show up by mid-afternoon, but they had several emergencies that delayed them until nearly 7 o'clock in the evening. He was prepared to empty the tank, but after exploring the lines from the house he decided it was a blockage in a pipe, likely caused by tree roots. He vacuumed it out as best he could, saying that it might clog up again. In that case, make sure I request someone with an electric snake to grind up the roots. This all made sense to me, and I was glad he had the insights and could explain them to me.

Awful. Didn't pump from the proper access but I didn't know that until later. Noted clog on the form left. Ended up with a back up into my yard because they didn't pump it properly. Came out to take a look and left me with a mess in the yard. Also, started digging things up without my knowledge or consent after leaving me with a clogged septic.

The work was completed in 5 days. Everything appears to be great.

This provider did an excellent job. On-time, professional, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Worked in very cold weather. Very pleasant.

All-in-all, very good. Service was performed quickly and beat all of the other prices (6-7) we investigated. The young man, Harry, that performed the service, was very friendly, professional, and helpful. Recommended that, though the septic tank was in good condition, we install a riser above the buried manhole cover within the next couple of years to allow better access to heavy solids; there is only a 6" clean out for access (old house/septic system). Harry took the time to thoroughly explain the process to do so, the estimated cost, and was patient with all of my questions. Would definitely recommend Fogle's base on this experience. The only recommendation I would make to Fogle's to get a complete 5-star rating has to do with timing of the service They could not specify an approximate time they would be at the house that day to perform the service and stated that they would call when the truck was on its way. We waited until 2:30PM, no call, I had to run errands. I asked the wife to call me if Fogle's called so I could get right back to be there when the service was performed. As I was backing out of my driveway, the Fogle's truck appeared. I came bak in the house and my wife stated, "They just called!". Not much of a "heads up". This was annoying. My recommendations are thus: 1. Don't have customers sitting all day long waiting for the service. At least do as the cable, satellite, etc. companies do and provide a 4-hour window (8-noon, 1-5) when they will be there. Our time is valuable too! 2. When you call a customer to let them know the truck is on its way, allow a minimum of 1/2 hour between the call and the arrival. Not at the very second the truck is pulling in the driveway. Again, this was an annoyance and I think Fogle's could improve n that category. But bottom line is that, except for that caveat, I recommend them and would use them again.

I called them a couple weeks ago to schedule service, they told me their availability and I could call that morning to give them payment information. The tech pulled up and I called and gave them my credit card information and that was it, when he was done he came to the door and gave me a the report, he was very pleasant. Very straight forward and very polite.

They are excellent. I called for the appointment, they came promptly. They worked very efficiently.

They were fine. I paid around $200. I think they were convenient. They did what we asked. and they went the extra mile for us.

They two gentlemen were prompt and professional. They drew a circle with spray paint in the exact area I was supposed to dig. When I was charged $125 for that, I was a bit surprised! I thought it would be half that since they were done in 15 minutes. So after digging, I found a scrap piece of metal and then part of a drain line. I was getting frustrated so I called them back for more help. The same guys came back within 2 hours. They apologized for providing the wrong location. (In their defense, the buried metal made things complicated.) They then helped dig some more, trace the drain line back to the distribution box, and gave me the correct location to dig. Jackpot! No charge for the return visit. They answered my numerous questions regarding septic systems (this is my first house with septic), and again apologized for the wrong location the first time. I'm using these guys every time from now on!

Showed up on time and pumped septic tank. This went fine. However, I was hoping to get some additional assessment of the system overall (i.e. the review of Fogle's dated January 2, 2013) , such as the and quot;valuable adviceand quot; on how to manage the system, the type, size layout, etc. The young gentleman who arrived was polite and courteous, but was apparently fairly new and not really capable of providing me with this type of advice I was hoping for. The septic was pumped out , however. I was hoping to get a few minutes of advice and answers for the 250.00 to pump the system.

When he finally arrived, said he could not do the job.
