Description of Work: Artisian Restoration, Inc. was sent out by our moving company who just relocated us from Colorado. They dealt with over 30 damaged pieces. Our technician was very professional and explained all details of what my moving company's liability was and how they could fix each and every piece. The biggest issue was an antique Biedermier Armoire which was severely water damaged and broken. We were quite concerned about this piece as it is extremely valuable (12K). They restored this piece so well it looked better than it did prior to moving. All wood repairs were done with "aged woods" and finish work was also done with period finish in shellac and then "spirited" to a fine French Polish appearance. They also repaired some very old and rare porcelains, which were outstanding. Some items were damaged through climatic changes in the wood (we moved from a dry climate to a very moist climate). The technician explained the constraints of this to us in great detail and while we were not happy that the damages occurred, we fully understood the reasoning of the explanation as to why they could not repair this. They exceeded our expectations to say the least.

+ -1 moreThe experience was mostly good except there was some problems but he refused to resolve them, he said it was not his fault. He said nothing could be done about it but I fixed the issue myself. It took months to get the furniture back.
Description of Work: They did furniture restoration.
