Have never used this company and they stole our recycling dumpster. Zero stars do not recommend. Even hung up on me after admitting they took it and then ignored my calls.

Description of Work: Over the summer, my 3 1/2 year developed a serious illness. It was a long summer for him to say the least. He loves garbage trucks and for his 4th birthday he wanted a garbage truck themed party. I thought having a real live garbage truck at the party would absolutely make his day so I called Rita from our Area Refuse team who picks up our garbage to see if they would be willing to bring a truck over. She had never had such a request but after arranging it with the team she said they could bring one over! The day of our son's party they drove up in a shiny clean garbage truck! My son was thrilled. They allowed all the kids to get on and in the truck, blow the horn and operate the crusher blade! They weren't in any rush despite working 12+ hour days cleaning up after Hurricane Sandy. On top of the truck, they brought gift bags and coloring pages. They truly made my little boy's 4th birthday "The best day ever!" (His exact words) Picking up garbage isn't glamorous, but it's an important service. You could have any company do it, but if you want one that truly cares about their costumers then you should call Area Refuse!
