The move went flawlessly.

I have already sent a friend to Thompson's to move his daughter from Maryland to New York and have also told everyone how wonderful my experience was.

Move went quite well. Nothing but some minor (IE I don't care) damage. Crew worked quickly and safely. Broke down and put together bedding/crib/etc. Only complaints while minor were had to make multiple trips (not a big deal because the move was close by) and the crew whined about the number of boxes we had. I would highly recommend.

The move went very smoothly. They were prompt, polite, professional, and kind.

Everything went well. Nothing was essentially broken.

Moving is generally horrible, but Thompson's made my two moves very tolerable. The company is expensive but probably worth it--the movers are careful, polite, and drive a truck that is cleaner than my house. They wrap and pad furniture and are good with antiques. They work quickly and efficiently, never dropping or banging things. They even made sure that I put felt on the bottom of the furniture that would sit on wood floors. No need to worry about anything being lost or stolen, either. They present an invoice at the end of the day that might take your breath away, but once you pay it and enter your tidy house with the furniture all neatly set out the way you want it, you'll be happy and relieved. I paid $1,100 for a move from an apartment to a house and $800 to empty out a large storage space. I believe the cost was around $110 an hour for three men with their truck. Despite the price, I recommend this company to banish those moving day nightmares.

It was a very good job; on time, careful, courteous, and reasonable. The truck arrived a little ahead of time. The movers were careful in handling the furniture, padding it and securing it with straps. They even drove slowly when negotiated the hills and curves in my area. Everything arrived in good condition.

Extremely friendly, flexible, and cooperative.

Pool table was moved between two local locations. The drivers were very prompt and professional. Once arrived (a bit early in fact) they set the table up. Cost was a little high because pool table was not a standard table, small and light weight (two people could carry it and I alone could move it around the room once sent up). Definitely would use them again because of the professionalism and service.

After calling several moving companies for rates, I finally spoke to Tommy Thompson who gave me the confidence that he would handle the job right. He even recommended a storage facility. His rates were very good too. His truck and crew arrived a few minutes early and were professional and polite. They did a very good job of stacking the furniture in the storage facility as well. I have already booked Thompson's Moving for the move to our new house.

Tommie is very hard working and at a moments notice is be able to accommodate.

TOMMY IS AN GREAT GUY. HE WILL DELIVER THE FURNITURE AT YOUR CONVENIENCE. HE IS VERY CAREFUL AND PACKAGES THE FURNITURE TO PREVENT NICKS AND SCRATCHES. I HAVE USED THEM ABOUT A DOZEN TIMES IN THE LAST YEAR.

THE MOVING PROCESS ITSELF IS VERY STRESSFUL. TOMMY THOMPSON THE OWNER WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. ONE OF THE WORKERS HAD AN INJURED HAND AND I THOUGHT IT WAS ODD THAT I WAS PAYING $110 AN HOUR FOR A 3 MAN CREW AND ONE WAS INJURED.

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME, GOT RIGHT TO WORK, SYSTEMATICALLY LOADING FURNITURE FIRST, THEN BOXES. THEY ALLOWED MY HUSBAND AND FRIEND TO ALSO HELP WHICH KEPT THE LABOR COSTS DOWN. THEY WERE CAREFUL WITH EVERYTHING, NOTHING WAS BROKEN.
