Working with Mike Potts has been a pleasure. He is very attentive to all of my concerns and questions about all aspects of the job so far.

We had some drywall needing replacement with related painting. Apex called, came for quote, finished job, & came for walk through well within our time frame. They ended up painting the whole room for consistency but at no extra charge. The crew was friendly, efficient, & neat. They cleaned up everything. The room looks wonderful. We are pleased with everything, the only exception is pricing seemed a little high, but apparently worth it with discount given. They are on my list for future projects.

I signed a contract in August for rehanging gutters and adding downspouts to improve water flow at our vacation home. The contract also included Champion Gutter Screens (which Mr del Valle demonstrated for us to convince us of the superior performance). AT the time of signing, I was told that the job would be completed within the next few weeks. I essentially got the run around for 3 months with excuses as to why the job could not be completed. Then I was told that Henry had subcontracted my job to another company. This also dragged on for 3-4 weeks. I finally threatened to hire another gutter company and miraculously Henry's team showed up! (November 6) Once there, they were unable to complete one part of the job as Henry had proposed, but mostly completed the rest and cleaned the gutters on a few outbuildings for free (I did say thank you) I was told they would have to return in a few days to place the gutter guards. His crew arrived 2 days later to place the gutter guards. Henry then called a week later to see if his payment had been sent. I informed him that I was at the house that weekend and that we had a drone and were going to inspect the gutter guards on the second story. AT that point he explained that the Champion Gutter Guards were not able to be placed due to the crown molding on my house and Leaf Relief Guards (less $/LF) were placed instead. It was clear that this dishonest man was never going to tell me that an inferior product was installed on my home. In the end, Henry adjusted the proposal/contract to reflect the actual work done and payment. I will never hire Apex or Henry del Valle again. I feel he is dishonest and handled our home project extremely unprofessionally.

The crew did excellent work. My old plaster ceilings never looked so good. They were hard working, respectful, protected my floors on the way to the work area, and in the work area, and cleaned up afterwards! Quality work.

They came in, did their job, no muss, no fuss. Supervisor was here at lunch time and then after the workers left. Great follow through! Would hire again, without any questions.

Henry talks a great talk but that's about it. I hired him to paint all the walls for my first floor, he appeared confident that his job would be the best (hence why it's called APEX remodeling)... the quality of the finished product was mediocre but he charged for a high end product. There are a few areas where it looks like they didn't use tape to separate different colors since some of the walls have bled over from other walls His painters left marks on my walls from their ladders and scratched several parts of my hardwood floor. I pointed out these issues to him when he came by (to which he argued wasn't his fault) and he claimed he would send people back to correct these issues. I also found out a few days later that the painters had busted my antique lamp, which I can't simply go out and get a duplicate. Weeks later I have yet to hear back from him and I am left overpaying for barely mediocre results. Overpriced for the quality of the job and won't correct any mistakes

They are expensive! They are very professional when trying to get the job and they are great to work with until they get paid. Then they stop calling you back! So if you go with them, make sure you write down every single detail you want done and make sure it's all done before you make that final payment. They painted my entire house and stained hardwood floors (plus installed some where there was carpet). It was a large job and they got paid well but once done we notice several small things they did incorrectly. Initially the owner, Henry, answered my phone calls and said he would arrange for painters to return to my home to finish these small details but they never arranged a time and now they don't return my calls or answer any texts like they did before the final payment was made. I was ready to give them 5 stars for everything but it's now 3 months since they completed the work and they still haven't returned to fix the minor details. I want to give them 1 star on customer service but I don't want to ruin their business just beware. Next time I would withhold some money for another two weeks until you are sure that they did everything completely. Very disappointing because they are a full service company and I was prepared to hire them for several other jobs as well as reccommed them to friends and neighbors until they chose to just stop responding. Very unprofessional way to handle some very minor oversights. As a business owner I just couldn't understand why they would lose a customer that paid them handsomely and on time over some very minor details that could probably be handled in 1 hour (door handles upside down, shoe molding not painted, blinds reinstalled incorrectly, etc). That's why I waited 3 months to post this but unfortunately they still haven't responded. So my warning is to write everything down and pay attention to details and don't pay them everything until you have had a few weeks to look around the entire house. Overall good job but be prepared to stop hearing from them once the final payment is made. They don't value repeat customers.

Had a small hickup but Henry went above and beyond to make us 100% satisfied!!! Apex gets our highest recommendation and we have found our contracter for Life!!!
