A-AAA Tree Service

Last Thursday I filled out the form on A-AAA web site for a quote. The next morning at 8:30AM I received a call from A-AAA ( i believe it was the owner) who was standing in front of my house giving me the information about whether I need to trim or remove my tree. I  had to talk it over with my wife first and we decided to have the tree removed. The next day A-AAA called to schedule the service which was done today one week later at 8:00AM.
A-AAA showed up at 7:30 but did not start a chain saw until 8:00 which the neighbors appreciated. I was at work while this was going on, my wife talked to the foremen before she left and since we were paying with a credit card he told her to call the office to make the payment.
.When I got home the tree was gone and there was no mess. Besides the missing tree and the sign they left in front of my house you couldn't tell they were here.

Thanks John and Tracy for a very pleasant experience.  John was very prompt for the appraisal.  Pleasant hard working crew and they did an excellent job cleaning up when the job was finished.  Before moving the heavy equipment over the lawn they placed large sheets of material to prevent ruts. Very satisfied and would use A-AAA tree service again.

Very professional and service oriented

They were here bright and early to remove 2 trees.  They were done in 2 hours.  Then, later in the day after the rain stopped, they brought the stump grinder and ground up the 2 stumps.  Excellent value for the price.

The owners name is John Salt. I had a whole lot of trees removed. It was a very large job and he did a great job. He used cranes to do that. His price was fair. He was very good. This was the second time I used him.

It was a very painless process!  There were no surprises, hidden costs, unexplained delays, etc.  A first rate experience.

The whole experience was excellent, from John's promptness for the appraisal appointment to the crew arriving on time and ready to go to work.  John asked and answered critical questions during the appraisal process, putting us at easy about the work to be done. On the day the work was to be performed, the foreman, Jose', checked with us first to confirm the work to be done and clarified any small issues, such as disposal of the wood chips and location/size of the cut wood, that we chose to save for our personal use.  The team went to work, moving items in the driveway and relocating them to avoid damage.  What a relief that was to know that as John put it, "Just sit back and relax...we will take care of everything."  Once the work was completed, and it took 7-8 hours, our property was raked and debris blown into a pile for disposal in the chipper.  Before leaving, Jose' made certain that everything was taken care of to our expectations...they even relocated a small sandbox filled with 200+ pounds of sand that was in the vicinity where the trees once stood.

As promised, the next day a crew member returned with top soil to fill any ruts that were made by machinery during the tree removal process. 

We highly recommend A-AAA Tree Service and will most certainly call on them again should a similar need arise!!

PS:  After watching the crew in action, we have the utmost high regard for the work the team performed.  The whole process was executed in a very professional way!!!

John viewed the trees and saw how dangerous the situation had become, he immediately moved the job to the top of his work list.  Two days later the workers were up in the trees removing branches and using their ropes to lower them to the ground, they were very careful around the two decks and the fencing.  The crews were hard working, and did an excellent job of cleaning up.   Two interesting things associated with the job were (1) it was the day of the earthquake and the one man was in the  tree when it struck and  (2) two days later we had the winds from the hurricane (no damage, from these trees, but two locusts were uprooted).  We had A-AAA back to do more work.

The crews arrived on time.  Most of the work required  a man in the tree and two ground workers  lowering branches by rope line to avoid obstacles.  Others cleaned the yard and ground up the limbs.  The crews worked hard and were very courteous.  Later in the day John the owner came by an ordered the additional crane that Jose the foreman thought was needed.  We were very pleased with the service.

They did a great job from start to finish.  They are very customer friendly.  I have not found another tree company that repairs the lawn damage.  That was a great service to offer.  I would definitely employ them again & also referred them to my brother who also employed them.

The owner came out for an estimate, looked at my trees, and got his people in here the next business day.  They took down 4 1/2 trees, ground the accessible stumps, and took out the pieces that were too large for us to cut for firewood.  They did an excellent job, quickly, and cleaned up well.

They were great and did a really nice job. They came when they said they would and did what they said they would. They even did a couple of things that I had asked for after the estimate, and there was no extra charge. They were courteous. I paid $1000 for all of the work they did for me, and I feel like I got my money’s worth. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future; in fact, I am having them come back in March to trim one of my big trees.

John performed an estimate about a month before the work was done.  John was knowledgeable and confident in his company's ability to do quality work at a price his competitors couldn't beat.  He helped us decide upon the best solution for our particular problem.  Had earlier estimates for similar work which proved he was right about the price.  Lag time between estimate and work date due to major storm damage in the area and work backlog.  Crew who did the work was courteous and efficient--job done in a little more than half a day.  Very satisfied with the outcome and would use A-AAA Tree Service again without hesitation.

They were very professional. They came out two days after they gave us the bid to do the job. He thought there was a possibility of the tree falling on our neighbor's roof so he got their permission to go on their property as well. I was pleased with their work.

I called A-AAA Tree Service at the end of June. Tracy the person I spoke to set up a day for my estimate. A big tree in the front yard of my property has grown so much that some of the branches are scratching against an upstairs bedroom window and some branches are brushing against my neighbors roof. (I worry the shingles from her roof will be loosened causing a liability on my part.) The following week someone came and saw the work I needed done and Tracy called to give me my estimate. She explained that they had some big jobs scheduled for the coming weeks but that since mine was not that big a job they could fit me in between the bigger ones. (As opposed to waiting until those jobs were completed) Also the holiday was upon us (4th of July) and so it wouldn't be done until after that. So, we agreed that within the next few weeks she would call me with a definate date and time. On July 13th Tracy called, to asked if the work could be done on Friday July 15th at 1pm. I agreed. On Friday the workers were there as agreed. There were three men doing the work and a foreman/ supervisor. The supervisor spoke with my son (23 years old) about the job. I was detained elsewhere and came about 30 minutes later. The supervisor, after confering with his workers left for another job site nearby but said he would return shortly. The workers got to work immediately. One of them was a "professional tree climber". My son was very impressed with his ability. Within an hour the work was completed. I paid the amount agreed upon to the supervisor. They took all debris away with them and they cleaned up the yard before leaving. I now have better sunlight in the front of the house, when my grandson comes over he is not bothered or scared of the branches at his bedroom window and my neighbor's roof is safe from the wandering tree branches. It is a big worry lifted off me, what with the unusual wind and rain storms we have been getting this year. I am very pleased with the work A-AAA has done. When the time comes I will not hesitate to call on them again and I would recommend them to anyone needing this service.

They were great! They did extra things that I thought of after they arrived. Both times they visited my home, they were very prompt, courteous, and extremely accommodating. I was very impressed that they cut this huge tree down by hand and did not have to use any heavy equipment, just as I requested. All of my property and my neighbors' properties were returned to the previous condition. The price was lower than any other company. I requested the owner of the small company to be on site, and he was. As promised, a few months later, they brought and planted a new tree in the place where they removed the tree. They sold the tree to me wholesale ($150 for a 10-foot tall tree!). Installation of the new tree was included in the original price. Some of the grass that they originally planted did not grow all the way in, but when they came back to plant the new tree, they took care of that. They were pleasant to deal with and their communication skills were great! I recommend them without reservation!

The work turned out excellent. John stuck with everything he initially stated. He kept the cost at the estimate, even though the job required more than he thought. We would definitely use them again.

GREAT ! I CALLED JOHN ON 2/22. HE CAME BY THAT AFTERNOON, ASSESSED THE TREE( GIVING ME THE BAD NEWS THAT THE TREE HAD TO COME DOWN) QUOTED ME A PRICE, AND SAID HE COULD DO THE WORK WITHIN 5 DAYS, WHICH WAS PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE TO ME. I'M DISABLED AND I'M ALWAYS HERE . HE WAS DOING A LOT OF BLIZZARD DAMAGE AND I FEEL THIS WAS QUICKER THAN I EXPECTED. I GOT A CALL FROM HIS OFFICE THE NEXT DAY. THEY TOLD ME WE ARE EXPECTING ANOTHER SNOW STORM ON THURSDAY, WITH HIGH WINDS. DUE TO THE WEAKNESS OF MY TREE AND THE FORECAST FOR HIGH WINDS THEY WOULD BE HERE THAT DAY TO DO THE JOB. THEY ARRIVED AN HOUR LATER AND DID EVERYTHING AS CONTRACTED AND WERE IN AND OUT OF HERE IN1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES. NOT ONLY WAS THE PROFFESIONALISM OF HIS CREW OUTSTANDING BUT THERE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE WAS QUITE A SIGHT TO BEHOLD. I ENJOYED WATCHING THEM DO THEIR CRAFT. IN ADDITION A-AAA TREE IS ABOVE THE NORM NOT ONLY IN INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE, BUT THEY ARE UP TO DATE TECHNOLOGICALLY WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT. I WAS AMAZED TO SEE JOHN'S NEW MULCHER EAT THAT ENTIRE TREE IN ONE PIECE. THEY DROPPED THE TREE, KNOCKED OFF ABOUT 4 LARGE BRANCHES AND FED THE WHOLE TRUNK INTO THE SHREDDER. THAT MACHINE JUST PULLED THAT TREE INTO ITSELF LIKE A HUNGRY FOX IN THE HEN HOUSE. I FEEL A-AAA TREE SHOULD BE AN ANGIES AWARD WINNER. SURE THEY TOOK THE JOB, THAT'S THEIR BUSINESS. BUT, WHEN THE FORECAST CHANGED THEY CARED ABOUT MY PRECARIOUS TREE BLOWING OVER AND CAUSING DAMAGE. AND DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I WOULD HIRE AND RECOMMEND A-AAA TREE TO EVERYONE IN A HEARTBEAT.

They were good and had a good crew. We live on a hill so they didn't have to bring in their crane. They were able to use their climbing equipment. They left some of the wood for firewood as we requested. The clean up was really good. It was our responsibility to deal with the stump after they took it away. They stacked the wood nicely and cut it in manageable pieces for what we wanted to save. All the other wood went in their truck or chipper.

Went well, all work was performed as quoted. Tom was able to provide the quote over the phone which was convenient (me at work while he was at my home, inspecting the trees). He also arrived on time the day of, went back over all the work to be completed before I left for work. He was very professional, I can't speak for the rest of the crew as I was not at home while the work was being done. No comments from the neighbors though, so I expect everything was fine. Decent cleanup and overall I'm happy with the work.

No complaints at all. Very fair prices, prompt and professional service. Recommended by a neighbor and we have recommended them to others. Note: this work was done about 2 years ago, but I just joined AL.

Called John on Friday morning to get an estimate on trimming, pruning, and clearing debris on almost 3/4 acres of Beech, Elm and Oak trees. Set up an appointment for the following Monday. John was right on time, we walked the property and he gave me an estimate on the spot. I have this done every 3 or 4 years and his price has been the best so far. Scheduled them to come in the end of the same week, they were on time and did the work in record time, cleared all debris and left my yard pristine.

We met this company as they were doing work in the neighborhood. We asked for an estimate which they gave us right away. I do not remember the name of the person we dealt with. He was prompt and professional. The work was done within that week, efficiently and professionally. They cut the tree and branches in log size and piled the wood very neatly. All debris were removed.
