All went very well from start to finish. Tracy, the estimator and all the crew performing the work were professional and courteous. They made certain to clean up after the job was complete. They exemplify what I would qualify as an A rated ranking provider on Angieslist. If you need expert tree work. This should be the company to contact and hire.

They removed five pine trees from my backyard. Four of those were from around out inground pool, and they had to take down part of my fence to access the trees. This was all done when I wasn't at home There was old brush that my husband had left from when he had done some tree trimming on his own. When I came home everything was just like it was when we left that morning minus the trees! They took the trees AND the stuff my husband had cut down. We had used them about 8yrs ago when we first mved in and were so pleased with the work that we called them again. They were professional, courteous and responsive. I highly recommend them.

They did exactly what was expected and cleaned up perfectly. Very courteous and professional.

Craig, the estimator as well as the job supervisor, was efficient and courteous. Work was handled with attention to detail and the yard was cleaned up afterwards. They even took away some old discarded firewood for me. This is the second time we have used this company, and I will certainly do so again should the need arise.

This was the third time using this company. They are very professional and do an excellent job removing/cleaning up after themselves. It took them all day to remove this tree. I TRULY appreciate them staying until after the rain stopped and removing another tree limb for me. I enjoy speaking with John when he comes out and does his estimate....

The provider responded to a voicemail on a Sunday afternoon! This was just after the Derecheo and there were downed trees everywhere; including on top of my car. Within 2 hours after the phone call, the vendor showed up at my home and began the process of dismantling and removing the tree. The entire process took a little more than an hour. Costs were paid by my neighbor who owned the tree.

This is the second time we have used this service. Everyone we dealt with from the owner to the workers were very friendly, polite, and efficient. The trees were removed with great care to not do any damage to the lawn or anything else. It was a challenge since there were telephone and electric wires to work around, but the workers were very skilled and professional. The clean-up was excellent. They removed all of the debris and swept everything clean. They had to work until it was nearly dark to complete the job, but did not rush and leave anything uncompleted. I would certainly use this company again for any tree removal.

Large lot clearing between two properties including small random trees and one large storm-damaged tree w/ stump and roots; everything cut flush to ground or removed, lot cleared and cleaned & all stumps larger than three inches ground. Trimmed large oak. Safely cut down & removed dead pine from neighboring yard and ground 2 large, 1 small stump and various small clearing and clean-up. 10 man crew arrived shortly before lunch; worked for a solid hour, took lunch break then resumed work immediately . Was asked to view the work twice during the visit to make sure everything was satisfactory; work was completed, property cleaned w/ crew packed and gone by 5:15. Crew was also courteous, knowledgeable and communicated efficiently. While the initial cost of any tree service seems high, the transport and use of several pieces of large equipment, trucks, and the crew needed to do the job competently and safely in all regards is well justified especially with Angie's List discount. Even amid a personal crisis, the quotes, communication, and follow-through on the job was amazing. Job was quoted, invoiced and completed in a timely manner during prime season. Highly recommend and would use this company again.

It went very well. They were on time, very personable, actually did a little more than what was in the contract, and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Tracy in the office is very responsive and honest. Tracy will get you a quote and won't BS on the time line. They even did the work for us on a Saturday so we didn't have to take vacation time from work! The crew showed up on time, were very professional, polite and knew what they were doing. We showed them what needed to be done and left them to it. They took out all the stumps, filled the holes in and cleaned up. Highly recommend A-AAA Tree Service.

I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the owner, who had come to give an estimate. It was one of several estimates I had received over the previous year, and cost a bit more (pre-Angie's List deal) than most, but the deal brought it in line with other estimates. The owner acknowledged it would be a difficult job because it is a very large tree that is only accessible through a narrow back alley in the city, with many electrical wires, fences, etc. around. I wasn't home when the work was done, but when I saw the finished product, I was pretty disappointed. I was expecting an extreme amount of trimming, but what they did exceeded what I had envisioned. Worse, it was quite lopsided . . . they left many small branches on one side and almost none on the other. Perhaps this last was because of the lack of accessibility, being unable to reach all of the branches equally, but just from looking at it, each part seems equally accessible to climbing. My other disappointment at the time of the work was that they had not removed any of the ivy covering the tree. The other estimates I had gotten had all mentioned the removal of ivy as crucial to the health of the tree and included it in the quotes, but I realized later that this company had not mentioned the ivy at all. When I asked them about it later, they said that it was not included but that I could cut the vines myself if I wanted it to die. That sounded like it the tree would just be covered in dead ivy, which did not sound appealing. The worst part of the job was that one of the remaining trunk segments later died as a result of this trimming. All of the leaves turned brown. The whole tree just looked so terrible and that was the icing on the cake. I called the company about it, and they said they would have someone remove the dead section in a couple of months, which they did. But it just looks terrible from top to bottom, whereas it used to be the biggest and lushest tree on the block. I suppose it is less likely to fall over in a high wind now, but now I'm tempted to have it cut down myself.

They didn't come back and finished what they were supposed to do. I didn't call them, but they didn't call me either. I decided to go with them because of the price. It took them a while to come out here, because we had a storm at the time.

They were honest, prompt and did exactly what they said they were going to do. In a time when so many people need trees removed and they could charge higher prices, I feel that they were fair. They were also very conscientious about not damaging the lawn around the tree. I would definitely recommend them.

John the owner of the company was extremely courteous and offered at no extra charge to remove several small trees. Before the work began the crew manager walked the property with me to make sure that we were on the same page as to what trees were to be taken down. The workers were extremely polite and their work extremely professional. It was a 2 day job and at the end of the second day before they left we walked the property again. The clean up from cutting the trees down was excellent, my yard looked better than it did before they came. I will continue to use A-AAA Tree Service in the future and highly recommend the service to anyone that needs professional tree services done.

Everything went well from time of estimate to completion of job. They arrived exactly on time, very polite and cooperative and left property looking great! I recommend A-AAA without any reservation. I am very happy with their work and will use them in the future.

The company was very professional and responsive to our request. A representative came immediately and gave us an estimate on the spot. We did not use them because we had a better price from another company, but they were very pleasant and nice to work with. We'd certainly call them again if needed.

I had a tree on the front of my property that was too close to the house and power lines that was diseased and also in the way of some future renovations. I personally wouldn't have minded taking on the task of cutting it down myself, but I just didn't want to deal with the power wires...so I decided to let the professionals handle it. I wasn't looking for anything more than having an insured & certified company getting the tree on the ground so that I could deal with the cutting, chopping and clean up. I contacted several businesses in our local area that all provided me with quotes, but A-AAA had the best price and great ratings here on Angie's List so I chose them. They came out and assessed my concerns with the tree and were happy to provide a quote for the service that I requested. I had asked for their insurance & certification paperwork which they promptly provided me a copy showing all their coverage?s. Once I had that information, I contacted them to set a date. They had an afternoon opening and two of their finest available within a few days, so we chose that date. The day finally arrived and the crew showed up right on time. They donned their safety gear and began cutting my tree with precision like a doctor. Limb after limb came down with ropes attached to them to protect my driveway, house and the power wires. Within 2 hours the entire tree was on the ground and the crew was wrapping up. All in all, everything went according to plan and I got my tree cut down for a great price! I would highly suggest using A-AAA and would use them again if the need arises.

The owner arrived on time and in uniform. He took the time to explain what work needed to be done. I ended up not using him because I found another company that could do it for 300$ cheaper.

After much research on Angie's List and other consumer websites including Bestpickreports.com, I decided to go with A-AAA Tree Service after recent Angie's List reviews and various awards and accreditations including the Best Baltimore Magazine's Winner. I had not thought of them upon my initial research from several months ago, as I think I had restricted my search mile-wise and thought we may be out of the company's service area. After reading all of the reviews, I contacted them mid-week; John Sult, one of the owners, came by personally to consult first thing Saturday morning (2/8/14). A price was quoted on-site. I was asked if I had received any additional quotes from other companies and was assured that they would keep their prices competitive. Although I did not formally have the job evaluated by additional providers, I was well aware of the price range of such a job and thought the quoted price was well within range of similar jobs quoted to other customers, with A-AAA being on the lower end of the pricing. They included some work at no additional charge and honored a 5% discount for using Angie?s List. With the upcoming inclement weather, we all agreed the removal of an Oak Tree at the back of our property would be a priority. The 5-man crew arrived promptly on Monday morning (2/10/14). Due to its location neither crane nor large equipment would be maneuverable in the area, so the large dead oak was taken down carefully and safely by hand. The tree was brought down in careful stages, and cut flush; all useable wood was cut to length and stacked neatly for our later use for splitting & firewood. All large branches were brought down carefully & manipulated in a way to help maintain the integrity of the surrounding foliage. A large Poplar was trimmed for safety, to elevate problematic branches to above roof level. A small, ill-located Mulberry was also removed from the property at no charge. All large branches and debris were removed and the property was left in a desirable state. The crew was quick and efficient; the foreman was personable, well-informed with good communication skills and rapport. I was extremely happy with all aspects of the work performed by A-AAA. Both John and his wife Tracy were a delight to talk to and work with. I have additional work to be done on the property once the snow melts and will definitely use them in the future. This company is highly recommended? A++++ it is!

The provider (greg I think, my wife handled the transaction), was according to her very responsive, professional and very fair in pricing. They initially came to trim a branch from a large elm tree that was resting on our power line. He also gaves recommendations as to other trees that needed pruning and most importantly was very honest about what did not needed to be done. I surveyed the work after completion and all was done according to plan and they did a great job. My wife was in particular very pleased with the overall professionalism and courtesy of the people in the company. We would have absolutely no hesitation in using them again.
