Dave and the team were responsive, professional, and courteous. The project got started quickly, progressed quickly, and loose ends were tied up quickly. The new patio/sidewalks look great, and we're confident they'll age well. The installed area was 700-800 square feet.

Great! We sent 3 requests for quotes and Tim was the first to respond, their recommendation was not over the top and in good taste and they read the needs well, and they had a competitive price. For install the 2 guys were efficient and friendly, they got the work done quickly. Some of the plants were trampled a bit but I think they will all come back ok

They did a very good job. They were a little more expensive. They told me two men were going to show up and three men did. $65 an hour X 3 men. They were on time, and they did whatever I asked. The third guy ended up to be the foreman.

I thought we paid more money than the completed project was worth. That being said, the crew was on time on the first day. They were very professional and polite. I feel as though they were for the most part dependable.

We got a couple of estimates, and Outdoor Advantage (Dave and Shizuka) gave us the best responsiveness, the best options, and the best price. They came right away and spent lots of time discussing options and pricing, even dropped off samples twice so we could make a decision. The patio and the modifications to the adjoining deck were done perfectly, and when we wanted a small change they came back and did it immediately. The grading was done just right, and the new grass with straw grew nicely. (They even cleaned up some fallen tree limbs that weren't part of the job, just to help out.) Nice people, nice job, nice price.

The Outdoor Advantage installed a 500 sq ft patio in our back yard and it looks awesome! We're very happy with the layout, size, and style of paver we ended up with. Overall, it was a high quality, clean install, and it completely revitalized our back yard. Both the owner and foreman were very friendly and helpful, and professional. They would listen to our concerns and address them. I would definitely recommend using this company for any of your upcoming patio projects.

Dave came out and gave us an estimate; the visit was straight forward and to the point, and he was also very punctual since I had to run home from work to meet him. The work was done in a professional manner and our deck now looks great. We're so happy with how it turned out that we'll be getting more work done. Thanks!

Reached out by email, but for some reason, my emails were going to office manager's spam mail. Called today to try and set up an evening appointment for after work one day next week. Was told that appointments are only done between 9-2 p.m., but that they would come to my property, without me being at home, and call me so I could describe to them what I would done. NO! I told them I did not want someone on my property without me being there. And this was explained to me AFTER my address information was giving. Pretty shady. Such a shame because their work had good reviews. Guess I will never know.

Due to their workload, it was more than a week before I could get an appointment with Dave, but it was well worth the wait. My main reason for needing landscaping was to grade the back yard so that water would flow away from the house, but we also wanted to have a patio installed and some other work done. Although I obtained 3 estimates, I felt more comfortable talking with Dave as he listened to my needs and concerns and made good suggestions about things I never thought of. They actually started work a week or so earlier than originally estimated and worked continuously until the job was done. Phil, Ricardo and the rest of the crew were great guys who even helped me with some other things I needed to do like trimming some low hanging tree branches and removing two fence posts for a shed that was being delivered, even helping to muscle the shed into place! Dave came and did a final inspection and made a punch list of cleanup items to address, some of which I never even noticed. A week or so later, there were a few minor issues with some sod, but Dave and crew were right on it, replacing the questionable areas promptly. Excellent customer service indeed! Would highly recommend.

Easy customer service. Estimate was lower than some, but the professionalism is what sold me. Dave got me the paperwork when he said he would. The follow through was exceptional.

The project went great overall. We are very pleased with the outcome. The crews attention to detail is fantastic. We would highly recommend working with The Outdoor Advantage for any outdoor project needs.

great! yard looks amazing. the owner, dave really knows his stuff. his staff are great and hardworking. we recently moved from the city into a house with some seriously over grown landscaping. the crew came out and transformed the yard completely.

The project went great. Dave and crew paid attention to detail, was open to change requests and quickly replaced plants that didn't like their new home. The crew chief managed the project and expectations well.

They did a superb job. The landscaping turned out better than expected. The cleanup also was done thoroughly. They even did some things like cleaning window wells, edging around multiple beds,etc., that I wasn't expecting. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again

Crew re-graded part of the yard that was torn up. They also installed sod, new concrete steps, and pressure treated lumber for the flower bed. We communicated via phone and emails. Somehow, we were unable to secure an in-person meeting or consultation with Dave. However, he still sent crew back to re-work some parts that were missed the first time. The crew also cleaned up pretty well. Basically, we just came home one day and yard was back to normal!

The Outdoor Advantage did a great job clearing these two large, overgrown areas. They reseeded the areas with grass seed and the new grass is starting to show, which is a good sign. Dave and Shizuka were very pleasant and nice to work with and responsive to my concern about picking a start date when I would be in town. They brought a backhoe to thoroughly clear the areas so that the plants don't grow back, which I appreciate. The two areas look completely transformed now and I no longer worry about the invasive brush taking over the lawn. It was an expensive project, but worth it, I feel, as long as these plants don't come back. I have another monster forsythia patch in the front yard and will call the Outdoor Advantage to deal with that in the future.

They were fine. One thing I didn't like about them is they have this special Angie's rate and then when they get here it is always more. I have had them come twice on an Angie's List deal, but when they get here it's more money. If it happened once, you would be, like, okay, well -- they know the property. It is, like one-quarter acre of land, there is not that much to do. But they always -- they finish their three hours and it is very clear that there is still more work to do. They are, like, we can leave now, or you can pay us you know $50-$60 an hour to finish it. I don't think that is an honest way to do work. The Angie's List deal is a good deal, but it never worked out that way. They do a good job. The problem with the money is not professional. I don't want to give somebody the wrong idea, it is not like they were rude to me or anything. You just don't say one price and then increase it.

Fantastic!!! I can't say enough good things. I am not one to normally post reviews, but Dave and The Outdoor Advantage company were so great I feel obliged. Very prompt service. Came out and did a quote within 2 days of contacting. Worked with me to price itemize different ideas and items throughout the backyard design. Afterwards, I received several other quotes from other companies. And while OA ended up being on the higher end of the quotes, I was impressed enough with the professionalism and the pictures of the previous work of Outdoor Advantage that I contacted Dave to see what could be done. Dave worked with me through my itemized list to get the project within my budget and comparable to the other quotes. After signing a contract, Dave and his crew were able to start work within 3 days. Work was completed in 9 continuous days. Having dealt with contractors before, that was impressive!! (If you haven't-- often you'll see companies starting weeks after a signed contract and then working odd days here and there to finally finish.) Dave himself showed up several times to the site to make sure the work was going well. The crew handled all the removal of old product, bringing in tools/materials, installation, and clean-up. The backyard was left immaculate with no finishing work by owner necessary. The finished product was better than I could have imagined!! I am so happy with the results and wish I would have done this years ago.

Outstanding quality. Workers are long-time employees, happy to make changes as the job progressed, provided solid professional advice. Dave is very responsive, even dropped off a couple additional steppers I requested to put in front of the outdoor faucet after the job was finished and paid for. I highly recommend.

Outdoor Advantage is a great company to work with. They know their stuff and are also there to offer design advice. Always on time and workmen are always courteous. I highly recommend them for landscaping and hardscaping.
