I contacted this firm with some significant questions about a home I was considering purchasing--primarily about issues concerning the crawl space of the home. I had very little time to make some major decisions about the property. On very short notice, Bo Ward, P.E., the principal of Structural Elements, made arrangements meet with me on his day off--which was also a major holiday. Needless to say, I was surprised and incredibly grateful that he was willing to make the time for me. He spent several hours looking over the scope of the problem, took several photos, and prepared a high-quality report, which was very helpful to me in taking next steps. In many years of hiring various professionals to undertake different tasks, Mr. Ward's professionalism, punctuality, thoroughness, expertise, honesty, and simple willingness to be helpful truly stand out. He is great at what he does and has impeccable character. I would highly recommend Mr. Ward and his firm. He did not do a design project for me, but I am hopeful that if I am ever constructing a home from scratch that he will be available to work on the project.
