+ 3 moreThe service tech was there in about 45 minutes. He helped us unload the soaked camping gear from the closet and pull out the piece of carpet (just a remnant) that it was sitting on. We spread the items out on picnic tables, and the back deck while he got to work. He cut off the plumbing and electric to the water heater and drained the rest of the horribly rusty water out. Then came the bad news - it was shot. We decided to replace it with a slightly larger one, which was more energy efficient. He went somewhere and got it. He hooked everything back up and put two fans in the closet (it is a big closet under a set of steps from the garage to a room above the garage) to dry it out. He left the fans for 3 days and then called to come back and get them. We just unplugged them and set them on our front porch for him, because we were not going to be home. He was quite pleasant and knowlegable about the different types of water heaters and gave us lots of information to make our decision. Thinking about it, I guess $130.00 is reasonable for an after hours emergency service call, after all, he missed his dinner to come help us.
Description of Work: I came home to a flood of water rushing from under my garage door. My hot water heater is located in a closet in my garage where all of our camping gear is stored. The thing had apparently rusted through. I called Royal Plus, because I had used them before and I see their trucks all the time (and I had a magnet on my fridge.)

Description of Work: They came out to check our crawl space during our home inspection. We had to chase the technician around to complete the paperwork. He refused to and it is unknown if he actually showed up. He only completed the paperwork after he was fired. The report he did submit was handwritten, horrific spelling, and did not match our home. Essentially they are a con artist business.

+ -1 moreTo me it was a scam. These guys they came out three times, three different people and was like sign the contract, sign the contract,sign the contract. I am not signing anything until I find out what was going on. There was an addition in the back that had to be redone and there was a porch in the front. The rest of the roof was okay except for like around the chimney and all they wanted to do was tear off the entire roof. I would never recommend them. They were trying to do more than what was required. The only thing they ever wanted to do when they came out was sign the contract.
