AFTER HOURS ELECTRIC INC

Very pleased! When we called we got an answering machine and it took them a little over 24 hours to respond, that was the only part where we unsure if maybe we'd have to call someone else. (We had left a message describing the problem in a not-too-urgent way.) But once they called back the guy came out promptly and checked out the issue on Saturday. He quoted us $75 and said he'd be out tomorrow or the next day, and indeed, he showed up just when he said with another guy and the cost was just what he said. I felt it was very reasonable and timely and he was honest with our questions--definitely not trying to push us into having anything extra done. He confirmed the wire had been hot but that problem was on the power company's end and that we should call them and have them do it. He told me what to say to them and that I could say After Hours Electric told me. He was right; after that the power company fixed the rest of our problem.

Awesome. The electrician got here quickly and knew what the problem was within minutes. He recommended replacing the box, but said to let him try and clean the contacts first. He indicated that cleaning the contacts usually works for a long time. Well- sure enough- he cleaned the contacts and 4 years later is working just fine. He could have insisted on the replacement- and I would have not known the difference.
