+ -1 moreAmazing work from Silver Spring Landscaping Don came out for a to do a walkthrough of what I needed and gave me some suggestions, got a quote a few days later. After a few weeks and a few other quotes, I was happiest with the price and plan from Silver Spring Landscaping. The work took a few days, as expected. The crew was friendly and professional. The work looks beautiful and they cleaned up when they were done. Very happy with the work.
Description of Work: New stone stairs, and a stone border for large flower-bed on a hill. stone and rocks around the A/C unit. Fixed a 12 y/o paver wall that was starting to sink. routed my gutter drains underground. soil grading around my garage foundation.

+ 2 moreThe project went extremely well. The work was just great! The crew was hard-working, professional, quiet and did a great clean-up job when they were done. The price was not cheap, but who wants shortcuts when it involves your house. Incidentally, the price was quite a bit cheaper than one of the competing bids. The owner was very responsive...he came out the next day after I contacted him, made a proposal and went over it with us. After making a few changes, the work started when he said it would, finished in 3 days and did a great clean-up. The work looks a lot better than I had imagined and we are extremely happy!
Description of Work: The retaining wall alongside our driveway was originally built with wood and was becoming mostly rotted. In addition, it was listing and ready to tumble. The project we were looking for was to tear down the wood, replace it with stone and re-landscape the area at the top. In addition, there were rotted wood planks used as a divider between the pachysandra and grass in the lawn and we wanted these replaced with the same stone as in the retaining wall. The owner suggested that we do a few additions of plants and 2 trees in that area as well. Great idea!
