They were working while a plumber was also doing a separate project and managed to work around my interactions with the plumber. They suggested a new light and a store to get it and fixed other things while I made a trip to buy the fixture. I was very pleased with the fixture and the price. They also reinstalled my smoke alarm.

Alec, who provided the estimate and led the work on-site, was prompt, professional, and helpful. He provided a written estimate immediately, and the work was completed within two days. In addition to performing the services that we requested, Alec identified a few additional problems that we had not noticed, and he fixed them right away. Their work looks very good, and we have had no problems with the workmanship; highly professional. The crew left a hole in a wall around one of the outlets that they had repaired, and Bill Hyman agreed to send somebody out to repair and paint the drywall for no additional charge.

The service was excellent because when they opened the lamp that I purchased it was broken and they were able to return the lamp and get a new one.

We could not replicate the problem, even with turning on lots of appliances in the upstairs unit. The electrician was very thorough and stayed long after investigating both circuit breaker boxes, he even started checking the wall outlets to see if we could find the problem. There were a few minor issues, which he fixed and I hope the problem is solved. If it isn't, I will definitely call them again in the future. Got a return call to schedule work on day proposed, and electrician arrived on schedule. Workman was experienced, and did the work well, and promptly.

Extremely well. I selected this company from Angie's List after reading several favorable reports. As others indicated in their reports, Mr. Hyman responded to my phone call immediately and was very pleasant on the phone. He had a service crew in my area, and we agreed that the work could be done that afternoon. However, he wanted to make sure before he sent them to me, that they had the replacement parts on the truck. A two person crew arrived in the time frame I was given. The lead person suggested a solution to my outdoor lighting switch problems that was great; a hard wired timer in a location that did not disturb old plaster walls. Installation was fast and neat. I was informed of the cost of all work before it was undertaken and prices seemed fair. I would definitely use Hyman Electric again.
