Tomato Electric

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was just fine. They were very responsive and did just what they needed to do. They were very accommodating. They showed up on time. It was all around good service. I paid around an additional $100.

Tomato's two electricians showed up right on time at 7.30am and after determining the tasks to be performed, immediately got to work, splitting the work to get the most done in the shortest period of time. Both were completely competent and efficient. They not only finished all the previously arranged tasks, but a couple of others I threw in at the last minute. They cleaned up all the mess before leaving and there was no sign of their having been there other than a lot of electrical fixtures that now worked!

The electrician fixed alight in the basement & |installed a new motion detector light at the front |entrance. He also gave me good advice about another |electrical issue I was having.

He was very fast, completing all the work I had asked of him in less than the 2 hour window we had purchased. I felt comfortable leaving him alone in my house while I ran an errand, and he was patient in explaining what he had done and why. He was friendly and professional, and the office was very prompt responding to our appointment requests. I would definitely use the company again.

The electrician was professional and courteous. He brought a drop cloth that he stepped on upon entering the house. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was knowledgeable and informative. Didn't make a mess, even when drilling through the wall to install the outlet.

It was easy to schedule, great communication, the gentleman who arrived (promptly and very early in the morning) was polite, efficient, and did much more than I would have ever expected in the 2 hours. He whipped through my list and did a number of additional things. Actually ran out of things for him to do before the 2 hours were up! Highly recommended and would indeed call Tomato electric again.

I worked with the scheduler, Bob, for over two months to get knowledgeable about LED light panels. Bob sent me several web sites to check out and had me go to Home Depot to see their display of LED light colors. He never pressured me to buy anything or schedule a service. He just let me take my time to become an informed customer. This friendly and no pressure approach earned my business. I bought the lights from a wholesale distributor and then scheduled the installation through Bob. Chris showed up promptly on the specified date to do the installation. He was professional and polite and immediately set about removing the old fluorescent fixtures. He had those down in no time and then proceeded to install the LED light panels. He said he had never installed LED light panels, but you wouldn't have known it by how professional he was. Using the provided instruction manual, he had the light panels installed in no time. Originally, we wanted to put the two 2 x 4' LED panels on a dimmer switch, but Chris could not snake the necessary wires down the paneled column to the light switch, so we opted to not use the dimmer switch. This simplified the installation. All told, Chris was in and out within 2 1/2 hours. We are thrilled with the new LED light panels. The lighting is much better and there's no flickering or having the lights go out intermittently like the old fluorescent lights did.

Great job! I had a long list of things needing attention and all were done, perfectly, in the 2 hours I had purchased as a big deal. This included installing a security motion sensor light, changing ceiling fan bulbs, and repairing several ceiling lights and outlets.

Scheduling was good. There was one technician that came out. It only took 2 hours to finish the work and he finished just in time.

He was great! We now have an electrician for future work.

I bought the Big Deal - $119 for two hours' labor. Scott arrived at the time expected, was friendly and professional. Got right to work on the dining room light fixture and showed me why the outdoor post light wasn't working. Used additional time to check some under-cabinet lights in the kitchen that weren't working and also helped replace a recessed ceiling light in my shower stall that I wasn't confident to replace on my own. Relaxed and easy experience. Everything now looks and works great! Would use them again most definitely.

ASK FOR PAUL!!! I was extremely impressed by Tomato Electric. They contacted me minutes within purchasing my Big Deal to set up the appointment. I had a list of things I needed done, but with only two hours I was thinking that I'd have to schedule another appointment to get the work finished. Paul installed the chandelier in about 20 minutes (maybe less), fixed the light in the powder room in about 30 minutes, and rewired the cable with 30 minutes to spare! He got through everything on my list!!! Paul was very knowledgeable and gave me some great advice for my home. He was also very professional, courteous, and insisted on cleaning up EVERYTHING! I got several of their cards and not only will I DEFINITELY use them again in the future, but will refer them to everyone I know!

Bob, Promptly at 7:30 am this chilly December 26, 2013, Scott and Joe arrived to install a Tuscan chandelier and a pair of Tuscan sconces. Their work was excellent, performed quietly and quickly. They also, as I had requested, gave me the data on my existing track lighting system and said that I will be able to find new lights for it. They were nice young men, a pleasure to have in my home and the kind of people who brighten a one's spirit. Thank you for scheduling my work promptly. I was very impressed with the professionalism and service I received from Tomato Electric. They arrived on time and did an excellent job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend.

I bought the deal for electrical repairs and was not disappointed. I originally wanted two timers installed and he told me I didn't need one and quickly did adjustments for the front door censor that had not been working. He put the timer on the back door light, showed me how to use it and left me the instructions. He checked the closet light and confirmed that it worked and then put in a light and then put in a longer string so it was easier to turn own. The repair person was incredibly nice, tidy, intelligent and efficient. I will most certainly use Tomato again.

They went above and beyond. Not only did they arrive promptly, but they helped me move the old range to another room, install the new range, and dispose of some dead mice that we found under the old range.

I was very impressed with Tomato Electric from start to finish. They were very responsive and when Chris arrived he was great. Very professional and was willing to do the work the right way, with no shortcuts. He was awesome and I would definitely use them again!!! Great Job Chris!!!

I was expecting the work to take three or four hours, but they got all the work I had lined up done in 2.5 hours. They were neat and cleaned up after the work was done. They were actually fun to work with I have more work that needs to be done, and this the company I have been hunting for to help me.

Removed old ceiling light and installed new light that I purchased on-line.

They were prompt, courteous and professional. I'd use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable electrician.

I was very happy with the work. The photocell on the post lamp has failed frequently over the years. Paul, the electrician, suggested that a timer on the switch inside the house would be more trouble free and would add the benefit of being able to control the post lamp and the porch lamp with a single controller. He installed the timer and programmed it--problem solved. He tested the backyard security lights and reprogrammed them. He advised on how we can make the lights stay on for longer periods if needed for outdoor parties and other activities, something the folks that installed the lights failed to do. I have used Tomato Electric now for several years and always recommend them to friends.

Brought the wrong part. Had to return the following day..

Tomato was recommended to us by a good friend after the electrician we tried to hire would not return phone calls. They were prompt, courteous, efficient, professional, honest, thorough and explained their work; they were pleasant and did a good clean up of the work areas after they were finished. We were pleased with their work and we would recommend them to friends.

Electrician arrived a few minutes early and finished the job in just a few minutes. We've used Tomato Electric several times and always have been happy with the service.
