Tim Whistler Plumbing and Gas Fitting

Rip off. Extremely disappointing. Way overpriced and left a huge mess. Not a professional company based on my experience. After spending many thousand dollars to have a water supply pipe replaced they wanted $700 for a small job that took less than an hour. I had the work done by a more reputable company for $140. Be sure to get competitive bids before using this company. After the job they hounded me for payment when I had already paid and the checks were sitting in their mailbox. Not good.

I've used Tim Whistler Plumbing for three projects (replacing a PVC p-trap, installing a toilet, and fixing a leak) and have been very satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the plumbers. Should future plumbing issues arise in my house, I will definitely keep using this company!

The technician is good. The disposal works very well. I don't know what happened something got dislodged.

It went fine. They were to the point and fixed exactly what had to be done. They also offered some great advice and I would recommend them to others.

Everything went well; from the initial contact over the phone to the installation, and even a few questions after the installation was completed. The price was a little higher than expected, but I was warned of that in the estimate; I had some plumbing that needed minor updating to get it up to the latest code and standards.

We have hired Tim whistler plumbing for a number of repair so (installation of a new garbage disposal, clogged drain, sub pump replacement, and replacement of our main water valve). I think they’ve always done excellent work with very reasonable prices. All the plumbers have been professional and honest about wheather something needed to be replaced. They also have a helpful messaging service so you know when they are on their way. Will continue to hire for additional projects!

I booked an appointment online and was super surprised how quickly Maria had responded. I handled the appointment through email alone. It was great not having to call anyone or worry if a response would be provided in a timely manner. Ben was in communication with me via text one he was assigned the job. He showed up on time. Ben and Mike helped repair a pinhole leak in our home. They were awesome! Professional, courteous and fast. Best plumbing experience I've had! Will recommend Tim Whistler all day!

We had very damp walls on the moisture meter, and a dripping ceiling, after a repair for a burst pipe repair by a different company. The pipes were actually not leaking, but were running in poor spots with condensation issues and with exposure to elements. We called this amazing company, and the gentleman who came took extensive time for a very careful assessment, and found multiple issues, with condensation, with placement of the pipes relative to the outside, and explained the options for rerouting the pipes clearly. What could have been a difficult nightmare job, was done perfectly, and with care. Those walls have never been damp since and the work was clean, with respect for our home. This is a great company, I will always call them.

We hired Tim Whistler to replace our hot water heater. It was a tough job because the hot water heater is in a space the size of a closet along with our furnace. Tim's crew successfully removed the old unit and recommended a replacement unit that would fit in the tight space. In addition, our water heater vents to the chimney, which was not lined and not up to code. Tim's crew lined the chimney on the same day. They brought everything up to code and we successfully passed inspection. Despite the pain of a significant, unexpected expense, we were pleased with the ease of working with Tim and the professionalism of his crew.

I was able to get a same day appointment and not only did the technician fix the problem I called for but he fixed another problem we were also having with our toilet.

Really great work and came in more affordable than other estimate I received! I needed help with getting a gas dryer installed - specifically adding extensions to an existing gas line and the hook up. The installation company, allegedly a licensed plumber, sent by the big box appliance store not only quoted me an extremely high quote for the job but mentioned what turned out to be unnecessary work. Working with Tim Whistler Plumbing was super easy. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. I received updates via text message leading up to the appointment. Their staff showed up on time and finished the project very quickly. I would definitely use them again if I need plumbing or gas fitting help in the future!

Though they ran a little bit late, they kept in touch with me via phone and text -- proactive communication is MUCH appreciated--any job can run long, that's understandable. Letting me know and not leaving me in the dark was very helpful! Robert was friendly and professional. Went for the non-nuclear and affordable option (re-caulking upstairs bath and shower) to try before opening up the ceiling. He answered questions and gave good advice. I would definitely hire again.

From start to finish Tim was an absolute professional. He always showed up on time, came out before we purchased the house just to give a ballpark estimate on the work, and then returned once we were ready to have the work done to provide a comprehensive estimate separated by line-items and with material choices. He made it very easy to determine what we needed and what our options were in fixing the problems with our lack of water pressure. Tim communicates very effectively through email and texts, and quickly responds to questions. His price was very competitive and his entire team was friendly and professional. They worked hard to get a big job done on time. Tim earned our business by being friendly, professional, and informative, and we would definitely hire him again for other plumbing or gas jobs.

We had a drain backup of sewage and needed a plumber to come in ASAP. Tim was able to come on a Sunday night and showed up exactly on time. He was very patient and transparent explaining our options & the cost, and didn't at all push us to get service that we didn't think we need. Based on this experience, we'll definitely call him again and recommend him to others.

Frank successfully snaked a clogged drain that our contractor wasn't able to do; removed an old section of plumbing pipe due to a clog; and corrected and installed a new drain pipe to meet code. Tim is super responsive to emails and questions.

Seemed very knowledgeable and professional. While here he pointed out some other issues we may need to address around the house as well, including our old galvanized steel pipes throughout the house and to the main water line. Overall, great experience.
