Richard Murray, arborist and owner of Shannon Tree, is knowledgeable, professional and somewhat of a perfectionist. My experience with him was excellent from start to finish. He is thoughtful and collaborative in the planning process. The trees and other plants he provides are top quality and carefully planted by his experienced crew. The newly planted area looks beautiful. And from previous experience, I know that Richard is available for questions or any follow up that is needed.

Wonderful. Came on time, cleaned up what they promised. Mr. Murray walked around our new property with us during his first visit (summer 1997) and discussed the care of a number of our trees after he completed the removal of a large silver maple. He did not charge us for the consult but did it as a courtesy during his visit.

Richard from Shannon Tree was fantastic. He spent lots of time speaking with us about the different species of plants and trees on our property. He gave honest assessments as to their health and whether any posed a potential danger to our home. The information was extremely valuable and allowed us to make an informed decision about removing a very large tree on the property. Richard was very careful to act solely in the role of a consulting arborist and never tried to sell us on his company's other services. We'll certainly call on his expertise in the future. I have used him many times. He is completely knowledgeable about tree care. He is a certified arborist. He work with living trees to make them more healthy. His crew is well trained and he is very safely conscious. He is insured and bonded.

They are expert arborist. They were very responsive and showed up at the appointed time. They knew what needed to be done and how to do it. They did a nice clean-up.

When I initially spoke to Richard Murray, he indicated that he usually doesn't service North Arlington (he mostly works in DC and MD), however he could tell that I was passionate about wanting our young trees to grow correctly so he made an exception. I happened to be home when he came to do the estimate and he said if it was OK with me, he'd like to go ahead and do the work then! It was refreshing to have the job go so smoothly and effortlessly. He did a meticulous job and clearly loves his work, specifically on young trees. It started raining shortly after he started working, but he continued until he was done. He also spent a great deal of time talking to me about the other trees and shrubs in my yard and gave me some helpful advice.

THIS COMPANY SPECIALIZES IN SAVING TREES IF POSSIBLE. THEY PUT SUPPORTS IN THE BRANCHES IF NEEDED AND JUST DO WHAT THEY CAN TO SAVE THE TREE. THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND INFORMATIVE. THEY ARE TREE ARBORIST AND DO A WONDERFUL JOB.
