Once we complained, they said the air ducts were dirty. They came to clean the air ducts and they asked why the furnace was not fixed because this was filtering the dirt. The air duct specialist there was no Freon in the AC and the unit was not even a name brand unit.
Description of Work: We had the ac fixed last August.

Unfortunately we subsequently sold our house - with both heat pump systems completely replaced. The new owners have contacted me saying they have NO HEAT and after repeated visits from another licensed HVAC company, they have been told both systems were installed completely incorrect, the Freon lines have been contaminated by only replacing one air handler and not both, and the system needs to be completely replaced AGAIN - this time at a cost of nearly $15,000. Seems like the home warranty company is going to help with the cost, but they have completely severed ties with Sensa Air, and it seems like I got completely screwed by this Isam Zaghal guy, who took my $6000, did a horrible job installing the wrong heat pump system and passed another big cost on to the home warranty company. Just seems like a complete scam, especially considering the fact that our home warranty company won't even deal with him again. What a mess.
Description of Work: Our Home Warranty company sent Sensa Air a their "approved contractor" this summer when our A/C system started acting up. The owner showed up right away, and indicated the entire system needed to be replaced because a control board was blown and could not be replaced (too old). He got the warranty company to "cover it", but I still had to pay over $6,000 to replace both heat pumps and one inside air handler. Seemed fine at first - he replaced them both within a 72 hour period.

Sensa Air was sent over to my house by GE to repair the water heater still under warranty. The guy who came over had absolutely no clue as to what could be wrong with the water heater. He looked it up and down and sideways like he had not seen one before, then he took a photo of it and send it to his superior in another state. The supervisor decided that the problem was due to some pipe that was four feet away from water heater and that had corroded from the inside; how he could see that from Maryland when I live in Virginia is a mystery to me. Anyway he would be glad to fix it for $950.00. At that point I asked the repairman to leave. They were of course totally wrong. Another plumber from a different company zeroed in on the problem right away and promptly fixed it .
Description of Work: Photo was taken and diagnosis was done from another state.

I would never use this firm again. Absolutely, terrible customer service and professionalism.
Description of Work: Our home warranty assigned us to them to replace a radiator. Abe was the representative I worked with. He did not show of the first few times when we had schedule his inspection of the radiator. I had taken time of work to meet him the first few times, but he would call at the last minute to cancel. He finally came out to assess our radiator, and charged us a service call. He never came back to perform the work despite numerous calls.

Sensa Heating and Air was awful, unprofessional, and inexperienced!! In December 2010 they lied about when they could fix our furnace and left us without heat in the middle of winter for 9 days! The worker from Sensa Air, Abraham, caused a gas leak and Washington Gas had to be called to shut off our gas line. To top it off, Abraham brought a total stranger, with alcohol on his breath, into my home explaining that he needed help with the electrical pad, and as a result now my fuses have gone haywire around the house and will not turn back on. If I had money for a lawyer I would sue them.

Sensa Heating and Air was called on Wed. Dec 15th to fix our furnace. Consider it is below freezing outside and there is snow on the ground. The representative, Abraham, responded to our home late Dec. 17th. He vowed to return with the correct part by Monday at the lasted. On Sunday Dec 19th our water pipes burst under our home, because there had not been any heat for 5 days. This cost us an additional $3,000 to replace the pipe, and insulation. On Monday Abraham had over booked himself and did not return to fix our furnace until Dec. 21st, 4 days later. On Dec 21 2010 Abraham spent 6 hours trying to fix the machine. When he could not, he invited a total stranger into my home claiming he needed help with the electrical board. Not only did that stranger have alcohol on his breath, I also found him wondering around our home claiming to be lost. In addition, Abraham caused a gas leak filling my entire house with gas, and the gas company was called to turn it off. We endured nine days without heat, a water pipe burst, and we were left with flooding in our basement, flooding in our neighbor?s basement, and no water.
