RIDGEWAY & ERNEST ELECTRIC

This the second time that my thoughts were requested for the same work, same company. If requested again I will ignore all further requests for all companies.

Excellent. This change has made a great improvement in the comfort of this room. The new heaters Mr. Bonnet suggested are more efficient and less intrusive than the old one.

Power to our bathroom went out on Thursday. The GFI outlet wouldn't reset and resetting the breaker didn't help. We did some troubleshooting Friday morning but couldn't figure it out. I called another electrical company, but they couldn't fit us in until Wednesday. I called Ridgeway & Ernest, and they told me that they didn't have any more appointments on Friday so we would probably have to wait until Monday. They called me back fifteen minutes later to let me know that Don, the owner, would come out on Saturday, which he did. The problem took a little work to figure out, but he was able to restore power to the bathroom in about an hour.

All went really well. Great work and great service

It was at least 5 years ago now and no complaints. They were receptive and helpful with specific requests and permits. Sometimes things took a bit longer than expected but I guess they are busy!

Very professional. They advised us what generator best fit our needs, installed carefully among the bushes that are masking it, and do spot checks as well as yearly maintenance.

They were on time and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.

Very smooth, efficient, and professional. The electrician arrived on time, quickly did the work and did a great job of explaining what he was doing. I'll definitely use Ridgeway again if I have other electrical issues.

He arrived on time and was very polite. He finished the job quickly and showed us / explained what he had done.

Electrician was neat and professional. Job took much longer than expected based on explanation from the company when the appointment was made. When the bill was presented, the cost to install one fan far exceeded what was quoted as the cost to install 3 fans. I asked to speak with the office and the person who spoke with me was rude. I was told to pay what I felt was appropriate. I paid $200. Work was fine, value for money and accurate estimate not so fine.

They are very good. They were fantastic actually. They were so courteous. We whole have a notion of idea we wanted to do and they understood, created a plan and executed it. They were good. They were never late. I think there were 3 people altogether; one for the estimate and 2 for all the installation. It was only 3 days.

Don was great! Although we ultimately unfortunately had to delay our project for a future date due to unforeseen personal circumstances, and thus can't speak to a finished electrical project, Don was professional and thorough in his proposal and estimate. The reason we would have gone forward with Ridgeway & Ernest if we did the project and will likely contact them in the future for electrical projects, however, is that we thought that while doing the on site estimate - Don noticed something that others we had asked to come by to do estimates hadn't realized or missed, and was able to propose a creative and money saving (yet by all appearances perfectly safe and to code) solution, to how we might get an extra dedicated circuit to a certain location in the house from a electrical panel. Although again, we can't speak to how this would have turned out in practice as we had to turn away from this project for a while (so I might need to update this when we do), we were impressed with his observation and expertise.

Only complaint was there was some delay in getting work done. But everything turned out fine.

I can't say enough good things about this company. You don't see business ethics and practices like this anymore. They are top of the line.

It was fine. All electricians are expensive. They were very prompt. They made suggestions. They seemed to know what they were doing. They workers were excellent.

It turned out well. They were really good. They spent a lot of time to make sure it was done right. Go with the fans they offer. It took 1 day to complete the work.

They were very good. I have had them several times. I don't remember what they did in the house, but whatever they did it went very well. The people were very nice. It was probably between $100-$200. They are a very great company. I think of them as being a little high but they are good. I would definitely hire them again. They did a mailing. They used to be a company in Georgetown which closed and they had done, thru the years 30 or 40 years, work and I had a lot of trust in that company. Since they were the same people, even though not the same company, that's why I went with them.

See comments above but things went very well. They were very professional. I don't remember how much everything cost but just that it was very reasonable for what we had done.

Serviceman arrived on time. Provided excellent service and was professional. Installed cable jacks in my home office. I am pleased and would use this company again.

I first contacted them about 3 or 4 years ago to add lighting to areas that had never had it and to replace some fixtures. They were very professional and nice and did a good job. But they are expensive and don't take credit cards. I called about a year later about a door monitoring unit. Came out, was professional as always but ultimately never followed up with me and never did the job. I still contacted them about 2 years ago when I was remodeling our kitchen. Got a very professional estimate and lighting plan from them but the cost was so exorbitant, (and remember, it's cash only) that I was forced to call other companies and the four I contacted had better rates. The one I selected was significantly cheaper and did an even better job than they had the first time for me.
