 + -1 moreThey showed up on time and were careful and professional. They regularly checked in to show me what they were getting out and how. There was so much dust in the vents it clogged the furnace fan which they were able to clean and fix. I am so glad I called them. Everything was clogged and filthy and now we can breathe in our new home.

 + 0 moreFirst of all, Brandon is awesome. One of the few "what you see is what you get straight shooters" in the trades. I was fully expecting a costly HVAC tube venting project. Long story short, Brandon fixed the existing leaks with HVAC tape and said the venting was older but quality materials and would be better off repairing versus replacing. Brandon checked both my HVAC units and UV air filters. Bottom line, he handed me an invoice for $0 and suggested a couple of replacements and where to buy them cheaper than he could provide. Call it a loss leader or what you will, Brandon has my business when I need future Ducts or vent work.

 + 0 moreI could not be happier. I will never use another air duct cleaner provider again. They truly seemed to be a cut above the rest with regards to the certifications they have and the knowledge of their staff was far beyond what I have seen in the past. I paid a lot but I feel like I got what I paid for. I was told our house had not had the air ducts cleaned properly in years (decades probably) and now I have the confidence that it was finally done right. I also chose to do the dryer duct and learned that had never been done before - that is scary! I also chose to do the sanitization process but did not feel pressured by the staff at all. Instead, they helped me make an informed decision. They actually broke a switch when they were here and the owner of the company responded very promplty and paid for the cost to have our A/C vendor make the repair. That level of attention/customer service is hard to find these days! I highly recommed this company!

 + 0 moreQuality Air Solutions was recommended to us by our AC/Heating company, Davis and Davis. We had a new AC and Furnace installed after my 30 some year old AC quit on me. It was pretty evident that my duct work probably had not been cleaned in 30 years as well. Tony showed up on time and was very professional. He was also extremely knowledgable and was very happy to explain everything he was doing. We had a standard duct clean and also added on several services at Tony's recommendation. We did a mold sanitation of the duct work as well which involves some sort of non toxic chemical. We also had our dryer vent cleaned out as it was very dirty too. Tony did a great job, he was conscious of not making any messes. He also adjusted the duct work dampers to maximize air flow to hotter areas in the house. He cleaned up after the work thoroughly. Tony also went above the call of duty in that he told me about an angie's list coupon for the mold sanitation that ended up saving me $145. Not that big of a deal but he told me about the coupon after I had already agreed to the service. So he is trustworthy too. I grabbed a bunch of Tony's business cards and will be giving them to friends and neighbors.

 + 1 moreBrandon had come out to our house several times to help us with mold issues and had been very helpful in giving us good advice. I contacted him to clean and sanitize the ducts. He inspected them and told me that it was not needed and to solve the allergy problems we were having, the UV light in the furnace was the best option. He is very helpful and patient and explained things very well.

 + -1 moreI considered a number of companies and got several quotes and am extremely pleased to have chosen Quality air! The cost estimate was right on target, I did not pay anything more than I was told. Brandon was fabulous, on time, professional, pleasant, didn't try to sell me anything extra that I didn't need. He is totally trustworthy. I left him alone in the house in the morning and met him mid-day when the work was done. He had drop cloths everywhere and vacuumed after the work was done. Quality work for reasonable cost. I would call him back any time. Unfortunately though I won't need another duct cleaning for 5 years according to Brandon.
Description of Work: After major remodeling work in the house, Brandon cleaned the air ducts, coil, etc. He did a fantastic job!

 + -1 moreBrandon gave the estimate last week and iI was impressed that he did not try to oversell us on the disinfecting process. I felt he was very honest about the services we needed. We had the return and supply ducts cleaned out. The process took about 3.5 hours. Brandon performed the service at my request. He showed us the dirt that was collected from within the vents; approx 3 cubic feet of fine dust/dirt. We had had quite a bit of construction/remodeling done prior to this service so I think it was a good choice. He did a great job of picking up after himself and leaving the house in good order. He also answered all of my husband's and my questions thoroughly.
Description of Work: The intake and return vents were cleaned for a house built on 1958. The vents had never been cleaned.

 + 0 moreOverall I was extremely impressed by the quality of work and attention to detail that Brandon exhibited. He is a pleasure to interact with, very funny and loves to educate the customer about his work. Due to a scheduling error he had to do the job that usually 2 employees do, but do keep the time window he worked without a break for 6.5 hours straight! After the duct cleaning the indoor air is noticeably improved and I can breather much more freely at night. I can highly recommend Quality Air Solutions to anyone who needs their ducts cleaned. Their price might have been a bit higher than other companies, but I felt that I got way more than what I paid for.
Description of Work: I had hired another company to do duct cleaning of our new home after buying an Angie's List coupon, but when they found mold in the system, they did not want to start the job and quoted me a ridiculously high price. After having a mold remediation specialist come for a free estimate, they recommended quality air solutions to do the duct cleaning. After making an appointment, Brandon from Quality Air Solutions came by for a free duct cleaning and sanitization estimate and from the beginning I was impressed by his knowledge, thoroughness and professionalism. He explained every step of the job in detail and also pointed out how my electrostratic airfilter should be replaced and how important it would be to remove the itnternal electrodes to avoid setting the filter on fire. The price estimate was a bit higher than other companies, but at the end I decided to go forward with them due to the professional impression that he had left. The day before the job, they called and gave me a 1 hour window in which they would start work and indicated that it would take them 5-6 hours to do the job right. This was about 3x longer than the time estimate I had gotten from any other vendor. When Brandon showed up on time, he again explained the process to me in detail and then he went to work. For the next 6.5 hours he worked diligently on cleaning out every duct, starting from the top supply registers, working his way down to the basement and then back up via the outlets. Finally he sanitized the ducts using benefact natural mold sanitizer. He was very careful to clean up after himself, and at the end he showed me the 12+ lbs of cat hair and smoker's debris he had sucked out of the system which had not been cleaned for over 10 years by the previous owners. He also replaced the electrostatic filter with a special low-resistance honeywell filter and replaced the drier vent with a metal pipe.

 + -1 moreThey were professional, arrived on time, communicated the process, assured me that all the dirt/debris would remain encapsulated. Additionally, they suggested that I consider a germicide following the duct-cleaning. I explained my situation and told them, reluctantly, that I'd have to take-a-pass on that. Upon completion, they revealed that they had spoken with the owner and included it. This was a very reassuring and unexpected perk and one that I TRULY appreciated following extensive remediation work that was done prior, to make the house healthy! Businesses that "go the extra mile" have become all too rare! QAS is THAT company and seems to recognize that good business is more than just showing up, doing the job and collecting the money. It involves active listening, quality work, responding to concerns and creating a beneficial relationship. The folks at Quality Air Solutions have proven that they understand that loyalty is earned and that business is about "people"... not just a service or product.
Description of Work: We used Quality Air Solutions to clean air ducts in our 45 year old house that, unbeknownst to us, had NEVER been cleaned. Therefore, this became a much more laborious job than any of us had anticipated!

The woman who scheduled my appointment was very nice and remembered to give me a call the day before, confirming the appointment. Brandon was very friendly and extremely considerate. He used a different method to clean the vents that would not be so loud because we have 4 cats and a 20 month old. He was efficient (did all the ducts and the vent in about 2 ours) and cleaned up after himself. He even vacuumed up some extra cat hair he found. It was not messy at all and no creatures (human or otherwise) were traumatized. I will definitely use this company again.

 + -1 moreWe just bought our house and ther ducts had not been cleaned in 20 years! We had a clogged dryer vent also. The duct cleaning went faster than estimated and went smoothly. Our dryer vent was a big problem and took over 2 hours. They had to climb up on our roof to get a birds nest out and had a lot of trouble getting the vent cleared -- it was so full of lint it was brick-like. But they conquered. I would use them again.
Description of Work: Clean our 2 zones and systems. Also, cleaned the dryer vent -- which was totally clogged and had a birds nest. They came and cleaned. Cleaned up after themselves pretty well also.

 + -1 moreAfter locating them on Angie's list, I called for an estimate. Someone came at the appointed time and looked at the vents (showing us how dirty and dust-filled they were). He then gave me the cost for cleaning the vents, applying the discounts for using Angie's list. I called to schedule an appointment and the technician came on time. My sister was home for the actuall appointment and I had to be at work. However, he came as I was leaving and I informed him that he should call me for any problems or questions - which he did.He was very thorough and examined my dryer vent and also the inside of the furnace. He called me to alert me of a potential problem with the furnace (a leak) and one of the floor vents (apparent water seepage from outside). He cleaned all of the vents and the dryer vent and followed with the germicide. He advised that my HVAC person be called for the furnace leak and that the seepage problem needed attention. He was hospitable and was knowledgeable in what he was doing, took his time and did a good job.
Description of Work: All air vents were cleaned. They were really dirty and the dryer vent was cleaned as well. A sanitizer was also applied throughout the air vent system.
