Do NOT answer the door or your phone to this company. High pressure sales tactics. They’ll come to your home and take 2.5+ almost 3 hours measuring windows and putting you through presentations and demonstrations to try to get you to sign a contract right then and there. Won’t take “no thank you we just want an estimate” for an answer. The person providing the estimate will immediately switch their mood on you and begin insulting you. They made an inappropriate comment about the cars we had in our driveway and why we wouldn’t sign into a contract with them. He said sarcastically said “I can’t care about your home more than you” and “I’m confused..I thought you guys wanted to fix your windows” in a more serious tone than he had earlier”. Even after the switch up in tension and they began packing up their stuff, when they returned back inside the house to get the last of their demo equipment they tried to give a 4th an final price $10K than what they originally quoted us clearly not listening to our requests to think about the estimate overnight. Overall they just wouldn’t take no for an answer or leave our home which left us feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsettled. DO NOT let them in your home, we felt very unsafe after.

I cannot say enough good things about Power Home Remodeling. We have used Power Home for years. We had them replace doors and windows at our old house. In our current house, we had Power Home replace the windows on our upper floor and basement, as well as a basement door, sliding door, and attic insulation in 2020. Power Home just finished replacing our first floor windows and front door. Their work has always been impeccable and the experience has always been top notch. Every experience we have had with Power Home has been professional and pleasant. Whether it is sales, support, or the install teams, each rep’s focus has been on ensuring that we are happy and satisfied with the work being done. Additionally, the company offers an outstanding warranty on their work. I recommend Power Home to everyone I know who is in the market for doors, windows, siding, roofing, or attic insulation. Their products are exceptional, especially the doors and windows. The difference in temperature and noise is amazing. Additionally, Power Home takes care of its employees, which is very important to us. They also are very involved in the community. It is a refreshing change to see a company that focuses on taking care of their employees and customer satisfaction instead of just focusing on making money. Sales: Every rep that has visited us has been enjoyable to work with. They are honest and up front about their products, processes, and what to expect. Materials: Power Home’s windows and doors are amazing. From temperature to sound, the difference is huge compared to our old windows and doors. Professionalism: Every Power Home employee we have interacted with has been professional and pleasant. They have all been very focused on ensuring we have any questions answered and that we have an excellent experience. This holds true from sales to installs to support. Give Power Home Remodeling a chance. They will earn your business and you won’t regret it.

Ran into a couple of PHR guys at a "home show". We have had an estimate from a few years back but other projects and covid got in the way. PHR sent out their sales rep, Matt, and he gave us a review of services and estimated the cost. Whole home reside, new soffits, new facsia, new gutters (upgraded to 5 inch). After almost 30 years...the siding was looking sad. Also, the way our house was built, you could hear neighbors dropping change in their driveway. The rep showed us the foam backed siding and we went with the 6 inch flat to change the look of our 4 inch home depot builder grade siding. CJ contacted us and came out with the final measurements. Re-calculated the estimate and came up with a $500 savings for us. cool. Two weeks later Gustavo showed up with his crew and started work taking off siding, putting up a moisture barrier and residing the house. I pointed out a couple of cables that I needed saved if possible and the old UHF antenna that could be removed. The crew worked from 7am to 6:30PM and spent another half hour cleaning up around the house. They did this 3 days straight and finished the siding, soffits and fascia by 6pm on the 3rd day. Everything looked AWESOME!!! A major upgrade for the house. The next day the gutter crew showed up and put seamless gutters up in a few hours and even added another downspout where the builder cheaped out and put only 1 down spout in the back of the house. The entire project took 4 days and the crews cleaned up everyday at the end of the day. We could not be happier with the results. We have gotten quite few positive comments from the neighbors. it looks like a brand new house! (on the outside at least :-) ) Some notes: Communication was constant, consistent throughout the process. Pricing, when you see the quality of the product they are putting up compared to the cheap builder grade they are taking off....you realize you get what you pay for. Sound! OMG! My house is quiet now!!!! I cannot hear every little thing that happens on the street or behind us. It is transformative!!! Professional....the crews were all business and worked all day. The trim work is very detailed and tight. They brought things to my attention that I had forgotten about , speakers in the soffits (forgot about them...but they are hooked back up now :-), ethernet cabling I ran to the second floor (wireless was not a thing in the 90's). Sales process: You will see a lot of negative comments about their sales motion, it is what it is. If you are just kicking tires with no intent to buy....it will be frustrating for you. But, if you are seriously looking to have work done, you appreciated the detail and time they take explaining the entire process. Financing: We qualified for a HUGE chunk of financing, in the end, we paid for the job upon completion and walk through. The interest rate was higher than I liked but if needed it was there. When we informed PHR we would be cutting a check, they canceled the financing immediately. No questions asked. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. I will admit, I was worried about how the project would go after reading some of these reviews and I am pleased it went very well. I would recommend PHR in heart beat.

I hired them to replace windows, siding, wrap and gutters of our home (a substantial amount of work and investment on our part. ) They, Power Home Remolding where actually excellent. I removed star because of a quality issue in the work (a missed caulking led to a water leak). The issue was addressed immediately but I believe that this could have been avoided had the foreman reviewed all aspects of the completed work.

Outstanding! Power showed themselves to be an honest and reputable company. The work crews came on time surveyed the job site got right to work and got the job done. They were respectful of owner property and cleaned up after. While Power is not the least expensive they are in my opinion one of if not the best company for your money. You get " Lifetime and transferable warranty " with your project and materials. They status with you before and after the project. Qa is great. I would recommend Power Home Remodeling 100 %.

Company doesn't provide industry-standard offering for new window installation. Company salespitch is "high efficiency", but windows are smaller than the interior window opening and trim, installed by suspending with screws, then vinyl and aluminum is used to cover open air from outside with massive air gaps! Industry standard is to measure your window opening from the outside to ensure the window the best fit and highest efficiency. All 13 windows were installed from the inside of the home, while the removal of every existiing window was from outside, because it was installed to industry standard! Power Home Remodel also sold the repair of existing wood rot. The install team removed no wood rot and made excuses to why, but offered to cover it with aluminum to make it "look pretty". Additional proof this company is not, and does not operate within industry standard or provide any value to customers, community, or remodeling companies.
Description of Work: General carpentry to repair wood damage around windows and replace windows. They removed existing windows with smaller windows, replaced no wood damage, and covered everything with aluminum sheeting to hide everything.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review about your remodeling experience. We take feedback from homeowners very seriously and we apologize for any frustration this issue may have caused you. I have reviewed your profile and looked into your project and got additional information that may help you understand our process. Replacement style windows like the kind Power sells and installs are manufactured to fit inside an existing rough opening. It is necessary to back off roughly 1/4” of the window size on each side of the rough opening to allow for the window to be set square inside the opening. Oftentimes, especially on older homes that have settled, the opening in the wall is no longer square. The extra space to allow the window to be set square in the opening is necessary so that the window operates and performs as designed. The window is screwed into the rough opening, the area around the window is then insulated with spray foam, and the exterior of the rough opening is capped in aluminum coil to protect around the window opening. While there is more than one [Member Information Removed] to install a window, this method is a standard industry practice and it is how Power installs all of it's windows. There also was no wood replacement included in your contract (free or otherwise) and because the condition of any wood can be difficult to determine before the window, interior trim, and exterior trim is removed, it is often left to the discretion of the installation team to decide if the wood needs to be replaced in order to provide the warranty Power offers or if it is structurally sound enough to install to. In this case there was no need to replace any wood in your home and the exterior aluminum capping that was done is standard on any window install, whether the wood is being replaced or not. I hope this extra information gave you a better understanding on your project, if there are any other questions or concerns please reach out to our Customer Care team at (888) 736-6335, option 4 at the prompt.

A generous 2 stars b/c at least the siding looks nice. The 2 men who installed my siding were completely disrespectful of my property. They trampled flowers, knocked over flower pots on my deck and did not right them, left nails and screws all over our driveway and deck, left debris all over the deck, threw old wood across our lawn (including up against our neighbor's fence), hid unused siding back behind our detached garage where they had no business being, as well as "hid" a used water bottle in my azaleas bushes. I had to call the project manager on day 1 after they left because of a 15 minute rain storm and ask them to return because their equipment was blocking our cars in the garage--and upon returning they tried arguing with my husband that we could still get out. After seeing the state of our property after they finished on day 3 I called the project manager and over a week later still have not gotten a reply. Once the job is done you will be ghosted.

Power has really great windows and doors, however, their service and installation process is below par. I had windows and doors install from Power. The quality of the windows and doors are second to none. However, the install work was below average at best. For example, my front door, which was replaced, my entire exterior A frame was destroyed during their install process. They refuse to fix the issue, so it seems like I'll have to take the cost hit and replace the external A frame. I spent a lot of money on the replacement windows and door with the thought that I was dealing with a class A company. However, I found out that they are class D at best. I also opened a BBB ticket, but nothing has come from that either.

Power House did my gutters about 4 months ago. We had strong winds about 5 weeks ago and a piece of the strip came off and is hanging down. The next day after the winds I called Power House to come fix since it is under warranty. The rep on the call said it can be done in 3 weeks! So it stayed there hanging for 3 weeks. When someone came, CJ, he said it was a 2-man job and a tall ladder, and he will call me back in an hour. He never did. I called the next day to see what's up and they said someone will call me back. They did not. I started to call everyday since and got the same response. Finally after 2 weeks of trying, someone said they can schedule me for May 8... this is another 3 weeks later!! I asked to speak to her manager, Peter (she said), but he never called me and there was no other time earlier for them to come out to make the repair. So this strip is hanging STILL since the string winds (now about 5 weeks ago). So the warranty is great to have but you are not considered valued when it comes to do repairs under the warranty. MOST dissappointing.

I am very much regretting signing a contract with Power Home Remodeling. I had them replace all but two of the windows in my house in February 2022. When the project manager did his inspection I noticed that one of the screens did not fit the window. He assured me he would put in an order for a new screen. The next day after install I had noticed a pipe had come loose and fallen across the deck. I called the company and let them know that it probably got jostled loose and asked if they could come back and fix it. They said they could and scheduled a service date, but never showed up or called to say they were not able to make it. During that time I was getting ready to have surgery and there was a death in my family so I wasn't in a place to be able to follow up with anything. However, I never heard from Power for the rest of the year regarding the screen or the window. When I called in February of 2023, they said they had no record of either problem, so they scheduled a service time. Those service times have all been no shows. Today was the day they were supposed to come replace the screen and that I needed to be home. Again, no show and when I called they said they were combining it with the service to reattach the pipe, but they had never told me they were going to do that. I missed a day of work for this. Their communication after they get your money is terrible. They say they want to make things right, but they don't. It's been over a year that I have a non-functional window and a huge pipe blocking full use of my deck. Stay far away if you expect problems to be solved in a timely manner.

AVOID I am not sure if this company even actually has a product because they wont stop "selling" me the product. The salesperson spent 4 hours in my home explaining to me how windows work despite them telling me the appointment would only be an hour, and me clearly explaining I am familiar with how their product works. They then spend the last 3 months calling me at random times day and night without leaving a single message and when you call them back, nobody knows anything because "they don't have that info in front of them" - just a slimy sales tactic Then if you actually answer the phone, a very useless salesperson tells you about all these savings opportunities, but refuses to elaborate in any way, and only tells you they can send another salesperson out to discuss (they wont email you anything - they need to push more upselling). This is a scummy organization who only cares about sales and revenue, not their actual product or customer.

Don’t use Power. They tell a great story customer bill of rights. What a joke. They have no idea what they are doing. salesmen quoted 6 windows. I signed and paid deposit. couple days later they come back to take exact measurement. while going over contract they noticed they forgot to add 500 dollars worth of material. said you need to pay for this missed money. I laughed and said not going to happen. Power acted like they did me a favor by writing off the $500. I had simple question that I needed answered. I was told my pricing was locked in if I wanted to add additional windows. well if quote was wrong would they honor my so called locked in pricing for future windows. never heard back. Power sends emails with wrong state subject and details. This point never answered my question and just trying to get an install date. I told them I wanted to cancel and they state I’m past the time to get refund. They say they need to come to my house to talk about this cancellation. I tell them no just cancel and tell me how to get my refund. several emails and no response. I will call corporate if not resolved will get legal council. you have been warned. Don’tuse Power

The process up to the QA Inspection was excellent. People were friendly and knowledgeable. Austin was excellent at giving honest answers to all our questions. When I asked him one he couldn’t answer he didn’t try to BS his way through, he simply said he didn’t know and then proceeded to make calls until he got an answer. At the Pre-install inspection we were told the install crew would arrive between 8-10. The install crew chief was very surprised to hear that when he arrived at 7. The installation was also excellent. Done and dusted by 4PM. The QA inspection cost you an excellent rating. It was little more than a high pressure sales pitch to replace my aluminum siding with vinyl. I just spent $20K on a new roof and he pressured us to spend another $40K on something that doesn’t need to be replaced. Not cool. I would definitely recommend Power, but with a caveat on the QA inspection.
Description of Work: Replaced entire roof including deck.

We have been trying for the last three years to get a warranty replacement on the windows that were installed with a lifetime warranty. We have had three assessors and two installers come out, and each time the situation is worse than when they were first here the warranty replacement windows do not fit correctly, pieces break off when we shut the windows, and we have been told multiple times that replacement windows were either ordered, or that we should expect a call from someone to schedule an appointment. Months, go by with no communication, and when I call to find out what’s going on, no record of side conversations exist , I would highly recommend finding some other company for your windows.
Description of Work: Replacement windows were installed, and only a few years later everything needed to be repaired under warranty. We are trying (three years later) to get them replced.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We sincerely apologize for the undue frustration you’ve experienced during your project, but rest assured we will continue to work with you to address all of your outstanding concerns. We can see that the root cause of these issues was identified on a recent service visit and that the replacement parts have already been ordered. Once we receive the product, we will contact you and schedule a follow up service visit at earliest opportunity. Our manufacturing partners are still working through some of the difficult circumstances brought on by the pandemic and current economic situation, resulting in longer-than-expected delivery timelines for products. We are working aggressively with them to diminish these delivery timelines, but we still have work to do. Again, for that inconvenience, we sincerely apologize. If you have any further questions, please feel free to call us at 888-736-6335, option 4.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your remodeling experience. We take feedback from homeowners very seriously and we apologize for any frustration or inconvenience this issue may have caused. Our Warranty Service department has been in contact with you on multiple occasions with respect to your concerns with your sliding glass door. As outlined in your manufacturer’s product warranty, stress cracks may be covered within 90 days of installation. All other glass breakage is not covered under your manufacturer’s product warranty, nor is it under Power's labor warranty. That said, we are committed to working with you and resolving your concerns which is why we provided you with a quote to have the glass panel replaced and your product repaired. If you would like to pursue that option please feel free to reach out to our Warranty Service department at 888-736-6335, option 2 at the prompt.
