Description of Work: We did not use them. High pressure sales, (the price changed 3 times) which is fine, but when we wanted to exercise our right to cancel, their enthusiasm and responsiveness declined, somewhat. I was nervous with the contract when I decided to cancel. Reading the details of the notification process and wanting for myself to confirm receipt, the process made me feel like I needed legal representation. In the end they came to our house, drew a magic line through the paperwork (a little more sales pressure) and were professional and pleasant. Only mishap is that the processed the credit line even though they said it would not be processed until completion of the job. Dinged my credit score with a $20,000 plus line of credit....Not happy about that...more hoops to jump through to close that out. Email is a legal document folks!!

Description of Work: Overall, the performance of reroofing our house was excellent. The materials and crew arrived on time, the main house was completed in a few hours, but because of weather concerns, the garage area was done on the second day. The only variable was that we were told by the sales rep that the work would be done by "Powers people", but the crew came from Jerry Lewis Roofing Company. They did a good job, so it's a gamble as to whether all contract help will be of the same quality. The oversight and quality assurance people were employees of Power.

Description of Work: Power Home Remodeling Group did my roof, trim, and gutters first. I loved the experience so much I had them back out to do my door and attic insulation. When it's time for windows I know who I'm going to call! |True professionals from start to finish. The installers were very courteous and respectful. From all my research they offered the highest quality products at an extremely competitive price. Highly recommended!

Description of Work: replaced our sliding glass door. We also received attic insulation and a new thermostat previously form Power HRG. The attic insulation has really helped us to keep our costs low in the summer, and our new sliding glass door looks great, and works well. It is a well-made product, and limits the amount of heat/cold entering into the house. Further, the personnel were knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Description of Work: A congenial salesperson caught me as I entered Walmart. That should've been my first warning. As I am looking into new windows, I was interested in an estimate. To make a long story short, the amount of information they requested to make an appointment for an on-site estimate had nothing to do with an on-site estimate. Although the salesperson and the over-the-phone appointment person were polite, they were insistent that I provide them this information. I politely advised them that i do not provide that amount of information to anyone, and they didn't need it to make an appointment. They refused to make an appointment for me and I walked away.

Member, I'm sorry you felt the questions we asked were overwhelming. We ask the same information of every customer in an effort to provide the most accurate estimate for the products and styles that fit your home. As this information is different for everyone, we've found in our over 20 years of business that forming this relationship with our customers up front will lead to the smoothest experience possible. Description of Work: Two young men came to my door to offer a free roof inspection. I have no land line, because I don't want to be bothered by phone solicitation. In this case there they were - two "salesmen" (nice young men, who told me it was a family business - it is actually a national franchise...) I agrred to allow them to inspect my roof. Then they told me I would have to speak to another guy on cell for "scheduling". After I provided him with all the information I had given them, we agreed on 6 PM - I rearranged my schedule to meet them. They never showed and never called to tell me they wouldn't. The next morning, I received a much too early phone call wanting to rechedule. I reluctantly agreed to 1 PM on Saturday ( and asked them to never call that early again). Saturday morning I received another phone call, wanting to reschedule, and I told him that was already done for Saturday afternoon - "thank you sir". But again, no one showed, after I returned early from a mushroom hunting walk in the woods! Ahh, but it gets better! On Monday morning, I received ANOTHER MUCH TOO EARLY PHONE CALL from someone who claimed to have never spoken to me before (so much for a small family business), wanting to reschedule and telling me they were doning me a favor - I told him I was doing him a favor by allowing his folks to look at my roof and try to sell me somethoing. Needless to say, I asked that my name be removed from their list. I would avoid these people with a ten-foot pole - of course their work might be great, but it's hard for me to believe based on their orgnizational/ communicative skills and their total disregard for their potential custome' time and feelings.........

Member, Thanks for taking the time to write. After reading your review, I looked into your profile on our system so that I could understand what occurred from our perspective and better be able to help you. We originally contacted you on April 24th and set an appointment for later that evening. For the benefit of our customers and to ensure the accuracy of your contact information within our system, we confirm every appointment shortly before that scheduled time. On the evening of the 24th, we attempted to confirm that appointment 4 times, but were unable to get into contact you to do so. This is why our representative did not meeting with you at the scheduled time. When we spoke to you the following day on the 25th, we attempted to reschedule your appointment for April 27th. All of our phone calls are recorded in order to improve customer service and ensure the accuracy of information, so I was able to go back and listen to this conversation between you and our representative. Unfortunately, while listening I could tell that there was something lost in translation during the phone call - our representative was under the impression that you wanted to cancel the appointment - and did so - while you were still expecting to meet with our remodeling consultant. These communications breakdown are the reason why we were unable to visit you at the pre-scheduled times. I'd like to apologize for the inconvenience, but please understand that we enact these policies for the benefit of the homeowner and with customer service as a driving intent. If you'd like to talk about your experience further - or schedule another appointment - I'd be more than happy to discuss the matter with you over the phone. Again, you have my apologies for the miscommunication, you will find my contact information below.
