Description of Work: We had our windows replaced by Power Home. After reading many reviews about them, most of all the negative reviews (here on Angie's List or others) revolve around the sale approach, the other service related ones you will see that they (Power) tried to correct the problems. I will concur that their sales tactics are bold, bordering on brazen. If you don't like "strong" sales pitches with hard closing, you will likely be disappointed. Personally, I enjoyed it as I'm a good negotiator myself and got a great deal. Plus after the sales call, I had no questions to ask as every last detail was covered. Just remember that you are the customer and they need to operate on your terms; you also have the right to end the sales call at any point which you feel is appropriate. |They lived up to everything they said they would do- end of story. I got the best product with one of best warranties around, at a price which was fair and excellent service.Not a single scrap of building material was left behind, my property looked better than they found it (literally). The finished job looks great; no cracks or ugly seams plus the installer did a custom window casing job for me (we had oddly designed windows). I have nothing but good things to say about Power Home. |

Description of Work: They installed a sliding glass door. The door is of good quality and the installation was done well. The sales tactics were the problem. A one hour appointment lasted three hours because they always had one last thing to do. After a while, it was evident that their selling model is to wear the customer down with friendliness. Because of this overbearing sales method, I will not use them again.

Description of Work: They replaced our fairly large roof, replaced rotten wood and did an excellent job around the chimney(which has leaked for years). Haven't heard any dripping with all the rain we've had. They replaced a piece of siding that was missing, reinstalled our bird feeders and left everything neat and clean. They told us it would take one day and that's what it took. We are very pleased with the quality of the new roof.

Description of Work: Used Power for 5 window replacements in March of 2015. Sales pitch was a little on the long side, but I can say that I learned something. Everyone I spoke to within the company was professional. I appreciated the calls during the installation to check on the progress. Installers were friendly and courteous. | |Overall, very satisfied with the product and the experience, and I will be using them again in the future.

Description of Work: Removed 70 year old asbestos cement siding tiles from the 2nd level to roof line and replaced with insulated vinyl siding. Their different work teams were well coordinated with reasonable cleanup on a daily basis and thorough clean-up on last day. Common language sometimes an issue, but supervisor always responded within a couple of hours.

Description of Work: Estimate only. Salesman was informative but would not leave our house. Very pushy and stayed for 4 hours! This company is a rip off. The quote came in at 9,000 for 8 windows which is over one thousand per window and should be criminal. Would NOT recommend using this company.

Description of Work: We are remodeling our home and wanted a few windows replaced in the kitchen and basement. The sales rep guys were canvassing the neighborhood and I agreed to a sales pitch aka estimate on windows. The initial pitch was very long but the guy was nice and informative. Beware this company can be a little high pressure. They make it seem like it isn't, and that you have a choice...but it kind of is. If you're not absolutely prepared to buy some windows, you probably shouldn't sign up for the estimate. We decided to go with them a few windows at a time (which locked in the "day of sales pitch" rate) and I really liked their warranty. Windows came a few weeks later. The installers were awesome and cleaned up afterwards. Windows look and function great and really add to our kitchen/basement. Bottom line - they are pricey, and the sales tactics are a little used care salesmen-y, but I would recommend this company for the 'no questions asked' warranty, the windows themselves, and the customer service. The customer service call center is very responsive and they definitely work to make you happy. Will likely use them again to get the rest of the house done.

Description of Work: They installed 21 replacement windows with incredible outside vinyl trim that replaced our old wood trim. They came at 8:30 and were done at 4pm. Great job and all professional guys. They had a team of 7. Very impressed and highly recommended.

Description of Work: We had 9 windows installed to replace all of our windows on our main floor. One of the windows was a large picture window (4 "window units"). All of our old windows were steel frame - which is very hard to work with! The installers are in-house, super professional, punctual and really care about the product of their work. The process is very efficient, from sales to purchase to planning to installation. The windows are the ABSOLUTE highest quality vinyl windows that money can buy and are completely custom made in house by POWER. | |As other reviewers have probably mentioned, the sales process is a little painful. They train their sales team as hard as they train the installers. I will not use the word pushy, but do be prepared for a LONG sales call to begin your process. If you don't mind really getting a hard sell, you will be VERY pleased with the rest of your POWER experience. Price, ease, install, and product (with a LIFETIME warranty included) all make this a really good company to work with. Can't say enough about how satisfied we are with our new windows.
