The employees of Power Home Remodeling Group are very professional and courteous, from the salesman to the installers. I had a new roof and new windows installed, and will be having a new front entry door and shutters installed in December. All work was done on time, and work areas kept clean. Products were available in the time-frame promised. The window installer had to rebuild the frame in the living-room to accommodate new style of windows - excellent workmanship. The company offers great financing options and fantastic warranties on their products. I would highly recommend this company. They are on the expensive side, but well worth the money when you see the end results!

They arrived within the allotted time frame and started to disassemble our old front door and side windows. After they removed the door and side windows they prepped the opening for the new door and side windows. During this whole process, they kept everything clean. They installed the new door and side windows without any issues. We would definitely recommend Power Home Remodeling Group to anyone. They where very professional. They were thorough and punctual.

I received an estimate on four windows and one exterior door from sales personnel who were going door to door in my neighborhood. On the day of the project, 3 men arrived to do the install. They were courteous and friendly and worked quietly without any problems. I am very happy with the results of the install. I am happy with the quality of the work of the install and I am enjoying the warmth that these windows and door are providing to my home. No more drafts. Also, there is a remarkable quietness from the outside noise. A Quality Assurance Manager came by to inspect the work. I am pleased with the workmanship. It was a good experience.

I was actually first approached by someone from Power Remodeling group at BJs. I knew that my roof was overdue for replacement, so I made an appointment for someone to make a presentation. The person who came first gave a very comprehensive overview of the company. He then inspected the roof and did initial measurements. He reviewed my options for the roofing and for financing. I signed an initial agreement which included a three day period in which I could reconsider and cancel. I decided to continue with the project. A date for installation was set up. Supplies were delivered several days ahead of time. The workmen appeared on the day set up. The installation was supposed to be done in one day, but the flat parts of the roof required extra work. There was no inconvenience to me, however, since I was not required to be at home when the work was done. While the roof was being done, the workmen noticed areas of wood under the siding which were rotting out. I was not surprised that this was so, since the roof and siding were probably over 30 years old. I discussed this with a supervisor and decided to replace the siding. I also decided to replace all of the gutters and downspouts around the entire house, so that they were all the same style and color. Again a date was set for installation of the siding and of the gutters. The workmen arrived as arranged and finished as expected. The workmen were always courteous and informative. At the end of each day the entire area around the house was cleaned up. There was never anything left for me to clean up.

I had windows replaced- two months apart. The first group that came to my house - I was really impressed. They replace 3 windows and had 3 guys - 1 outside on the ladder and 1 on the inside doing the replacement and the 3rd was bringing in the new parts and taking out the old parts. I was impressed with the professionalism and the team work. Did a clean and great job- used drop cloths and cleaned the windows. The second 3 windows - and few weeks later - 1 guy (I thought was high) and smoked a lot was doing all 3 by himself. He was quick and seemed to know what he was doing but I didn't feel the same confidence. He did not have a drop cloth and was in his own pickup w/no Logo. He must have been a subcontractor. His pickup was overloaded. - I must say that I was confident he knew what he was doing. Almost like he is the call guy to get the best job done in the shortest amount of time. I also had my attic insulated. He was a sub-contractor and I think he did a good job. I really am not qualified to know how much of what he did (not foamed) will help with my elec bills until this winter. I like the fact that I am able to have no interest on the jobs done. My elec bills (whole hole house is elec) were so high last year ($600.00 plus monthly) I had to do something. I was turned on to the thru BJ's.

My wife and I noticed that over 10 homes in our development were getting new siding. Turned out that a contractor was contacting homeowners and helping them process claims for hail damage from a storm several years ago to aluminum siding. We were also approached but were wary if the quality of the work given the very low price we were quoted. We ultimately decided to call several Angie's List contractors for estimates on the work. We had seen Power at the Dulles Home Show in February...were Angie's List as well. Power representative did a great presentation...good value...we went with them for the siding and new attic insulation. Work was performed in a timely and professional manner. Clean-up after the job was excellent. We paid a little more than other folks in the neighborhood but confident we got the latest technology, highest quality materiel and best workmanship from Power...will last a long time, looks fantastic, reduces energy use and adds value to our home. We recommend as a best value company.

The siding on our house was almost 30 years old and did not look its best. Power took all of that siding off, put water proofing up and brand new siding. The siding itself looks terrific. What I did not like and made several calls about is the finishing touches and attention to detail. The corners and seams of the strips are not professional looking. After the second visit, I was told this is how it is with this type of siding. They tried to refinish the areas I had the most problems with but I'm still not happy with it. Seven months after the installation of my siding, we heard critters running around in the attic. I had to call an exterminator at a cost of $400. There were chipmunks in my attic. I have been in this house for over 20 years and never a problem. Why did I have one now? Because the siding folks left gaps in the attic area and the litter critters came marching in. I called Power and they did send someone out right away and that poor man spent 30 minutes in my attic during 90 degree weather closing up all of the gaps. He did a great job because I haven't had any issues since. Power did not offer to reimburse me for the exterminator when it was their fault. If someone spends this type of money, the final product should look spectacular and I shouldn't have to call back with issues 7 months later. I have absolutely no complaints about the new garage door or window installation. They were both installed beautifully and still look good. Cindy Krasinski Felder

From beginning to end, my wife and I were impressed with their professionalism and quality of service. We had multiple companies come out to our house to get pricing and chose the Power Home Remodeling Group. The initial consultation was complete, well thought out and respected boundaries we setup with the consultant. The followup, once we decided to go through with the project, was excellent. The installation crew was extremely professional , courteous, and efficient. We are very happy with our new windows, would highly recommend them (and already have), and look forward to working with them in the future for upcoming projects.

The men that installed the new windows and took away the old windows showed up on the day and the time that they promised. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They also washed the new windows so that there was nothing at all that we needed to do. The service manager came over to the house and helped to fill out any warranty information so that we didn't even have to do that. Knowing that we couldn't replace all of the windows at one time, the company has been very helpful in locking in the pricing so that we can work in segments over the next 1 to 2 years so that we can avoid taking out any loan that would incur finance charges. We will be replacing more of the windows in the Spring.

The company was great to deal with. We had a great experience from start to finish. We will definitely contact them for future home updates.

I cannot speak highly enough of Joe (head contractor) from PHRG, as well as all of the staff I worked with throughout the course of the job!!! [Yes, people have complained about the lengthy sales pitch at the start of the process - who doesn't complain when they feel time is being wasted? - but I actually appreciated the time they took with me to go over the minutia of every detail with the amount of money I was going to be spending.] They were on time EVERY time they were working, and Joe took the time to do a walk-through almost daily during the project to ensure it's completion to his (and my) standards. The crew even worked on weekends to finish both the roof and the siding; and they scheduled my door installation for the weekend so I could avoid taking a day off of work to be there. The crew seemed very well trained, and were willing to answer any questions I had, and even helped re-wire a security light before leaving the final day when I noticed it was not working! I cannot speak highly enough of this company and their work. Having had my windows and gutters done by them 4 years ago, I can also attest that their warranty is hands-down the best in the business. They are triple-insured, and have always been quick to help with any problem or question (such as when my late husband accidentally shattered the sliding glass door a few years ago while weed-whacking the back yard - oops!). At the end of the projects, they were diligent in their clean-up, and made sure all of my questions were answered (and touch-ups taken care of) before leaving. I know I paid more than what I could have paid with some other companies, but I am willing to spend a little more up front when the service, quality of product, and warranty are so superior!

The work team arrived early, but this was not a problem. They were fully prepared and had an excellent idea of what was needed to complete the job. They worked almost continuously and were quite pleasant to deal with. They cleaned up after the project was complete and took away all the demolition trash and the old door. We chose a window with interior blinds - something new for us - which we are enjoying.

The contractor arrived on time, covered the areas around the house to catch the debris, and removed the old shingles. The main house was done first, and we had expected the whole roof to be finished in one day. However, the weather looked threatening later in the day, so the roofer did not want to uncover the garage until he could be sure he could finish. Everyone returned the next day, a Saturday, and completed the job. We have been pleased with the result.

They arrived on time, cleaned as they were working and were very professional all around. They ensured all materials were properly disposed. I so impressed, I'm getting the rest of my windows (25 more) upgraded by them.

It went pretty well. The installation guys were first rate. They did the best job you could possibly do on a 50 year old house. The doors are good quality.

So far this has gone well. Roofing was completed today, two days behind schedule due to truck breakdown the first day and rain on another. The crew arrived on both work days at a little after 7:00 a.m. They cleaned up well on both days. The project manager, George was very polite and professional and the working crew stayed busy. The next stage of the project is to begin tomorrow. We've been very pleased. The costs might be a little higher than other companies but so far we believe we have received value for the money being spent. Yes, the selling pitch was long but we learned a lot and all of our questions were answered.

From start to finish, very professional. The install crew was great. On time, great communication, etc. Finished in a timely manner. The installed 13 windows in about 6 hours. Came back out a few weeks later and put gutter guards on all our gutters. This crew took maybe 30 minutes, and we have had no problems with clogs so far. Only complaint is that it seems like they have a million employees, and you talk to every one of them about something different. If that's my only complaint, they are still good in my book.

Arrived within two-hour window provided, accomplished all replacement work within a very reasonable time. Two man team was very professional, courteous and respectful of our home. Most pleased with the new windows. This is the third set of windows Power Home Remodeling Group replaced for us. And at some point all of our windows will be replaced by Power Home Remodeling Group.

The presentation was very informative and I learned a lot about roofs. The presentation took about two hours. I explained to the gentlemen that I was interviewing three other companies as well. As the presentation was coming to a close. I was beginning to become uneasy about what the cost would be. I felt like I was sitting in a time share presentation. The gentlemen quoted me a price just below $49,000 to replace a 22 square roof. I was floored. Then he said because you seem like a nice guy, we will do it for $37,000. I thanked him for coming and informed him I had another company coming in 5 minutes. I stated that he did an excellent job of presenting his company, but I was not making a decision tonight. Then here comes the pressure. He says, " you like the product right?" Yes, well what if I drop it to $30,000 if you agree tonight. The other company is now here and it seems like this guy from Power wont leave. The Power guy says, "what if I come back in an hour and a half to let you listen to the other company." I agreed just to get rid of him. The other company measures the house, shows me his product which is very similiar to the first company. The only difference is its one third of the cost. I expected to pay around $10,000 for a roof that had no real problems. I listended to two other companies that quoted me no higher than $12,000. So now the Power company guy returns. I really wasn t interested in hearing his sell but let him in. So now Im told," I dont normally do this, but Im going to drop the price to $28,000 if you agree to night." Still I stated I'm not making a decision tonight until I have a chance to research each company online. He became very persistent and told me to look up his company on his computer. It was getting late and I told him I will do it in my own time. This company is very pushy. Im sure their product is good because they certainly overcharge you. If you google the company, they talk a lot about the great pay. No way was I going to pay $48,00 to $30,000 to replace a 17 year old roof. I would suggest researching this company online before giving them a check. There are many other stories like mines out there. I didnt come across anyone being over charged as much as I. I am sure that if I had used this company, that they would have installed a great roof. I just didnt see a reason to over pay for it just to put money in the salesmans pocket.

Everything went well but I did have to have them add two gutters in place of my spiral plastic ones.

The short answer is I would recommend Power Home Remodeling Group to anybody who values their time and investment. These guys are "Pros" who know exactly what they're doing. I never got one excuse for anything. And everything was done to exceed my expectations and they delivered! They arrived as promised on time at 8:30am and were completed and gone within two hours. I have never seen a roof or gutters go on a house so fast and efficiently. There was absolutely no fooling around. These guys worked with passion and purpose. I gives me great pleasure to recommend Power Home Remodeling Group.

I was asked by a sales person at BJ's what I would do first, siding, windows or roof. I said siding (however this was no where on my radar) and before I knew it I had an evening appt for the next evening. Their sales techniques are good bc I felt bad not allowing the quote. I was told it was a free quote and no obligation. I was happy to find out what the cost would be. We'll it was a 3 1/2 hr sales pitch. I spoke with someone confirming the appt and he said it would be about an hr. We had to put our kids to bed including my 3 month old baby who cried. He was nice and very young trying all the annoying sales techniques including over using our first names. I was not falling for this to think we were like old friends. I asked him to speed it up and we said no and then he did hard sales trying to get us to do a portion of the project now and we could keep the lower offer for the future but that offer only existed that night. If that's how any company does offers I'm not interested. He finally left PAST my bedtime. I got a follow up call today that made me very angry as they tried to pressure me again to have someone come back to go over their special offer to reduce my quote. He asked me twice when I prefer they come after I said I'm not interested. At first I thought I would keep them in mind when we do this work one day but now I will never use them.

The guys came from Pennsyvania to do the work. It was wonderful. It's guaranteed for life. It's really good and they did excellent work. One of the doors, the bottom piece the seal wasn't sealed right and they came back and fixed it for us free of charge.
