+ -1 moreThe new siding is great. My electric bills went dramatically down this summer. I was waiting until now to write the review. We are definitely saving money due to the installation. During each stage of the installation process, we were confident about the people to deliver a quality job. The work crew spoke some English and knew what to do. They were timely and worked very hard in cold weather. The Project Manager spoke English and checked in regularly. Our needs and questions were addressed quickly. Changes were easily negotiated--as the work revealed new issues. Our outside plugs were so outdated, they didn't meet code standards. Power Home only replaces electrical items as they were, so we had to hire an electrician. We got a lot of quality work done for the price. The first 2 photos I submitted are the before and the last 3 are after the installation
Description of Work: We needed new siding on the front and side of the house. In the back, there was rotten wood below the siding that we were worried about. That area had been fixed twice (not by Power). We also wanted to have rotten wood on our screened in porch replaced and then wrapped in flashing.This was the second time where we used Power Home Remodeling. They installed a roof for us that has been great.

From the original point to contact all the way through to the end result, we have been extremely please with our experience. The sales person Ross was extremely professional, and gave us a thorough presentation an explanation of the products that they offer. After speaking with him, we felt very comfortable choosing power to replace the windows in our home. When installation day the crew arrived on time, got right to work and did an excellent job. The windows look fantastic, and they exceeded our expectations. A+ experience!

+ -1 moreCalled power to get a quote for roof replacement, Salesman came out and was knowledgeable and personable. He gave a great presentation on the product. I was very happy with the product and the company. until we got to the pricing section and he offered a "today only" price and felt very pressured. These sales tactics were a total put off, and after telling him we did not want to move forward today, he would not give up trying to convince us for a while. If they had had a 7 day or 30 day estimate price, I most likely would have gone with them. But high pressure sales tactics are not a good way to instill trust in a company. Therefore, we are looking at other options.

+ 1 moreThis is our second installation with power. They replaced our windows three years ago and it was an excellent experience. When they came around the neighborhood knocking on doors again, we didn't hesitate to have them out for an estimate for siding. The presentation was exactly what we expected. This is definitely the highest quality siding out there. After dealing with power the first install, we knew how intense of a project this would be and needed the best guys to do it. Since power hires and trains their own installers, we had full confidence that deciding will turn out just as well as the windows did. We were not let down. The install day came and after five days, the house is brand-new again. Homeowners up and down The street keep coming up and saying how good the house looks.

+ 0 moreWe contracted power 2 weeks ago to replace roof and gutters. From the point of contact all the way through the end of completion today the company is been nothing but a breeze to work with. The sales it was extremely friendly, professional, and polite. He offered a wealth of product knowledge and showed material samples of the roofing system they offer. I first we were unsure on whether to use them or not, but after looking at all of the reviews and all of the testimonials we decided they were the right company for us. They came yesterday and replace our entire roofing system in less than 10 hours. The installers were absolutely incredible, they work extremely hard and efficient and very well as a team. Overall I would say, it's one of the better home improvement experiences we have had. Definitely a five star company

After meeting with the consultant and discussing all options for the opening we settled on replacing it with a bay window. The consultant was extremely professional and polite. He gave me all details and information that I needed to make an informed decision on replacing the window. It took about three weeks for the window to be custom ordered to fit my window, and the install is going in now. The job is going great and the installers are very friendly and professional. Very happy with the entire process and the professionalism of power. I will definitely be using them in the future for all of my exterior of home needs. Thanks for a job well done.

+ 1 moreWe encountered no surprises with the work from sales person thru the job punch list with the quality assurance person. So if I were to summarize all of what I’ve written it would be, simply: 1. Highly knowledgeable and skilled personnel; 2. Very high quality materials; 3. Work executed as promised and on-time. I am 71 years old and I have had a lot of work done on my previous house and I have never had the positive experience I have had with Power-hrg. I only wish I had known of them when I was having work done on my previous home. If I need further work done (windows, doors, perhaps even solar panels), I will call Power-hrg and not bother with any other bids.
Description of Work: We moved into our home in August, 2016. The house was built in 1956 and needed a new roof. We contracted with Power Home Remodeling Group to do the work with high-end architectural shingles. They preformed the work efficiently and expertly using high quality materials. We also had them insulate the attic space, replace the soffits, gutters, fascia board, and downspouts. Again, there was extensive damage and rot to the fascia board which they showed me. Power-hrg’s procedure is to cap the fascia board with a vinyl cap, hence eliminating or drastically reducing future rot to the fascia board. However, in my opinion, it is the method that Power-hrg employs to do the work that impressed me as much as the quality of the work. A job with Power-hrg begins, as you might expect, with a sales person, but the time spent with the sales person is not rushed. He not only speaks with you with pictures of your roof to illustrate what he is describing. He then brought us outside to look at our roof and pointed-out the problem areas that he described. One might think that this is where we would go inside and sign the contract – not quite yet. The sales person spent time describing the company, but more importantly, describing exactly how the work would be done; all of this assisted with a computer presentation that showed exactly what he was talking about at each step. He stopped and addressed every question I had. None of this was rushed by him; he spent as much time as we wanted and needed to understand what was going to be done and how it would be done. He was also able to arrange financing for us while he was with us. While I normally dislike and am suspicious of long presentations, this one was focused on my questions, and not on some sales pitch. This made it more than acceptable to me. But the story goes on… We were then assigned a project manager who met with us before the job began and went over the job with us to be sure that he and we had the same understanding of what work was to be done. He left his phone number with us so we could call him any time if we had problems with the work that was being done. He also stopped by while the work was being done to ensure that the work was progressing on schedule and according to Power-hrg quality standards. …and on… We were then assigned a crew chief who came early on the day the work was to begin and explained to us what would be done and how long they expected it would take. Each morning of the job, he would check-in with me to see if we had any questions and if we were satisfied with the way the work was progressing. In our case, the amount of compromised or rotted wood on the roof was extensive. The crew chief would notify me in advance and show me any additional repair that would be needed (such as additional sheets of plywood to replaced the compromised and rotted plywood that was under the old roof). When the job was completed, the work crew went around our house twice (not once) with a magnet to pick up any nails or other metal debris that may have been left behind after their manual clean-up. …and on… Once the work crew has finished and left the job, Power-hrg sent a “quality assurance” person to be sure we were fully satisfied with the work done and the way it was done.

+ 0 morePower was walking around our neighborhood one evening and we set up a free estimate. Our gutters were falling off our house and clogged, and our insulation was virtually nonexistent. Ours second floor got extremely hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter. Cooper came out and gave a very detailed presentation. He was honest and didn't pressure us to do any work we were ready to do. After we committed to the project, Cooper was excellent about making sure we were completely comfortable moving forward with the project. It really gave us the peace of mind that he cared about us. Setting up the installation dates was simple as well. The cruise came on time and finished without any mess left behind. Both projects took about two hours apiece. we are very happy with our decision to choose power and remodeling group. We also found out that two of our neighbors have done multiple projects every few years with power. Now we know we chose the right company.

+ -1 moreHow don't know I'm remodeling group replaced our windows. The salesman Danny, was very informative and gave a great presentation. If you other companies we had out for estimates were nearly as detailed as Danny. No power is not the cheapest company. They are definitely the best company. Install day happened sooner than expected but not a day too soon. The install happen when it's pretty cold day. It was hard to bear at first but as soon as the old windows were out in the new windows were in, it warmed up almost immediately. Right then and there is when we knew we made the right decision. We highly recommend power to anybody who needs window replacement.

+ -1 moreThe crew arrived 10 minutes before scheduled time. The crew was professional and courteous. Had work areas covered up and cleanup was done afterwards. The project lead walked us through an inspection of the work and showed us how to remove the screens and windows (if needed) for cleaning. We did a lot of prep work ourselves (moving furniture, removing windows treatments etc) so the whole job was completed under 8 hours. The material of the windows appeared to be top quality but they are pricey, approx $1000 per unit installed. I cannot comment on any savings on energy bills at this time. I did not notice any reduction in street noise level.

Especially Dan Sadman. He is a lovely, honest and ginuine nice person. All of their people are very knowledgeable and pleasant. when it came time to do our roof, we look no further than power. When Dan showed up for our roof estimate, we couldn't have been more happy. We picked up a conversation right where we left off a year and a half earlier. Working with power has been an excellent experience. We can't wait to have our windows replaced in a few weeks.
